I think this is an interesting phenomena that happens when you translate one language to another ...it's not something 'vocabulary' can remedy. For people who do not understand Chinese, it seems like Lay sometimes doesn't quite answer the question and he think he does. This is because he actually does lol~ I don't know if it's due to the kind of 'round-a-bout' nature of the Chinese language, but when he had similar questions in Chinese interviews, he answers the same things, but somehow they make sense lol~ For instance, the last question in the iHeart radio interview about advice for people who aspire to be singers, he answers listen to my music, etc. When he answered in Chinese before, you got right away that he meant that a good way to start is by studying your favorite singer and begin with 'imitation'. But in English, for some reason, it sounds like he's not quite answering the question ^^: Similar things happens when he does Korean-Chinese...some terms in Korean sound so weird when he uses them in Chinese. Sorry for the long 'essay' ...just wanted to share this thought somewhere. Thank you so much for the reaction. Really, really enjoyed it!
Ellie is a very fun interviewer to watch, I know you are starting to get to know GOT7, you have to watch her interview with Jackson from Got7, that Jackson is so extra.
This was in my recommendations and i really miss yixing. Came here after listening to Lit2 with Changsha in the track and it mentions like people dont (regularly) use the standard mandarin and are also unaccented so probably explains why his English sounds so natural. Well, i maybe wrong. Enlighten me please!

Jackson's personality is very different from other KPOP idols, I think maybe he is from Hong Kong, and he is my bias in Got7. 😊
