We're bragging about Sir Chris' brilliant piece of music, but my gosh, Steve's playing guitar is magnificent!!!! Can already see him dancing & jamming out to his own guitar playing. How cool is that! What a masterpiece this song is. From Texas saying, yall keep rocking!

Steve’s guitar is an essential part of the Yes sound. He reminds me of Alex Lifeson or Larry LaLonde, the rare elite guitarist who is fine sharing the limelight with his bassist
Incredible job, Miguel! Chris's bass work on this song has always been some of my favorite. One of Yes' most underrated tracks, imho. Going for the One is such an incredible album!
This was my second video, I believe, and for a good reason. It was always one of my favourite Yessongs, and being written by Chris of course it has yet another special meaning.

Very nicely done, and it's encouraging to hear young people who have been exposed to some of the greats. Saw him in Oakland CA GFTO tour. 1977, I still have not seen a better concert. Was not sure what to make of him opening up with a jazz? I've owned many a great jazz bass since!, I'm almost 60 now and I still have not seen a better concert. Was waiting for the Rickie ( I bought a Rickenbacker just because of him and trying to get that tone). Chris could get great sound out of any instrument and amp setup, it's in the heart and fingers. There will never be another Chris Squire. RIP.

Perfeito, Miguel! Como eu disse algures no YT, back in august 1977 when I first heard Going For The One on the radio it was love at first "sight"! Yes remain one of my favourite bands ever. Chris Squire was an innovator, the "original originator"! Carry on the tradition Miguel! :-)

By the way it's noticeable that about 2 min 15 sec in you suddenly look over your right shoulder... is that where your Mum walked in and said "MIGUEL for the last time.. your dinner is on the table.. Now switch it off!"

Ken, thank you very much for writing. I will tell you because I remember clearly that evening. You will notice some light flickering on that side. It's the TV... Benfica was playing... (it's my Yes-equivalent in sport) :)) I also remember that my SVT-II pro head was on the floor serving also as a stand for the TV.

Normalmente misturo o audio (bass + CD track) outra vez mas desta vez não foi possível porque perdi o ficheiro. Depois faço render com parâmetros HD (1920x1080). Também qualidade de som do TH-cam em 2016 é muito melhor do que em 2008, por isso vale a pena fazer tudo de novo. Abraços!

Hello Zane, it was my ampeg svt-II pro, with direct output. The settings I can't recall as I did that for the occasion only and tweaked around until it seemed ok, but nothing too extreme. The bass was with brand new rotosound strings, as Chris used to use.
