Another episode with such beautiful knits Mandy! I bet your daughter feels so loved by that sweet pink sweater that you knit for her. I loved seeing the patterns that you selected too. That little bear living in a tin is too cute. I might have to put that on my list of things to knit in 2025! Stay warm and cozy.
Hi Mandy. I love the christmas trees. You could totally make a garland of trees. just make one per month and you will have 12. you could use leftovers from your sweater projects. This year I made a 24 day stocking advent for my grandkids. I knit 24 little socks and put some little things in them for the girls to open each day. I just knit them here and there over the year. We have so much snow here and it is -30 C here today
That's a wonderful idea for an advent. 24 cute little socks and something for them to open each day. I bet they have been having such an amazing time with that and it can be reused every year 🙂. I love the idea of making a garland out of my leftover sweater projects. Maybe instead of trees - mini sweaters? I think either would be cute. Definitely something to consider for next year. I hope that you stay warm, -30 C is very cold!
Your daughter is going to love her Christmas sweater. It is just adorable! I can't wait to see your finished Stripe Buster. If you have patience to stitch it together, then you have patience to do the Christmas tree garland! I wish it would get cold and snow here. We've had two snow storms, but it's mostly been in the 50s and 60s. The mountains are getting snow, though, so that's good for all the people who come here to ski. Have a great rest of your week!
Thank you! I pulled out the Stripebuster. All 14 inches of the body. I'll talk all about it next week. I started something completely different..😂 One of these days all make up my mind! We have a little bit of snow on the ground, but more ice than anything. The cold is not so great for pain, I'm hoping it warms up soon 🙂. I hope your week has been going wonderfully and that you guys are going to have a relaxing and wonderful holiday season!
Thank you! I love Nadia for a sleeveless tunic. The fantastitch is one of my favorite sweaters, there's something to be said about how comfy and cozy it is 🙂
For the stripe buster, you could do the front and back in order and then the sleeves all mixed up, like a baseball tee. You can only do different sleeves while knitting flat, so it wont be like you knit flat for no reason. But also, I often think of it like the back of my clothes are none of my business, because I can't see it anyway! I have the merry mini trees in my library! I might try to make them on my flatbed knitting machine I just got.
Oh, if you do that, let me know. That's an excellent idea to make them. I haven't looked at the pattern though, so I'm not sure how involved it will be 🙂
The stripe- buster is so pretty. It looks like it would be fun to knit. And your daughter’s sweater turned out great. I hope to see a picture of them in front of the tree.
I haven't liked stripes before, but your stripebuster looks so good that I might change my mind. I'm glad that you're also looking for interesting patterns for tunics. I always keep my eyes open, but it's rare to find really interesting designs that aren't just elongated sweaters. I hope you have a lovely Christmas!
Your stripebuster is sooo awesome! It's going to be ok, when you get back around it will still be ok for the way the fade goes (it's a pretty circular fade, secret!)
Your daughters' sweater is totally awesome ! And I love your striped sweater, such a cheery colourcombination 🤩 I've never done corrugated ribbing either, so that beanie will go into my favorites - indeed I think it is a nice pattern to try it with. The pocket Ted is just too cute ! Not yet sure whether I'll have the patience for all that fiddling, but I am very much tempted to find out 😁
I know, that's the problem I have with amigurumis as well. They're absolutely adorable but require so much patience - sometimes I just don't have it in me 😅
Beautiful knits 😍 and it's been the same weather wise here (in Germany!) it was cold and snowing a couple of weeks ago and now it's supposed to be warm for Christmas 🎄
I love the little trees. I really want to make them, but I think I will have to wait until next year because I have just too many things to do before Christmas this year.
They are really cute, but I understand - it's tough to fit everything in 🙂. I also have a lot of things I'm trying to fit in this time of year and not very successfully 😂
I know, it's adorable. It's good because it's only three inches, but I don't know if I have the patience either. Though I could totally see modifying the ears to be pointy and adding a tail to turn it into a cat 😂
I am really thinking about doing the sampler. I just need to get some Tunisian hooks first. There are so many great stitches, I feel like it's a wonderful idea to do a sampler 🙂
I love how the crochet patterns are so modern!
Crochet patterns have changed so much in the last couple of years. I really need to practice more with crochet garment making 🙂
Wow - the Stripebuster is going to be phenomenal! ♥
The Stripebuster has proved a problem, I will talk all about it on my next episode 😅. But I really liked the idea of it!

I love the little bear pattern too! 🥰 I hope you have a warm and cozy holiday season as well! 🙂
Your daughters sweater came out beautiful. I bet she is so pleased 😊
Thank you! 😊 She has been very excited about it and is happy that it's all finished
I love your stripe sweater, the variety between the front and back is great…. But I agree that front is gorgeous 😊
Thank you, her advents are always so beautiful! 🙂
Oh that Tunisian shawl is great! I know the basics but love to try new stitches for Tunisian! Thank you for sharing!
I really need to practice some more Tunisian crochet, I love the idea of the sampler pattern! 🙂
I am in love with your Stripebuster sweater. If it wasn't knit in pieces I would definitely be doing this one. Maybe someday!
Thank you! Knitting in pieces definitely provides some obstacles! 😅

I hope to get a picture of both of them in their sweaters too. I think the colors really looks nice together 😊
I also love your striped sweater. Both back and front!
Thank you! 🙂
I ADORE the color for the fantastich sweater!
Thank you! I was really happy with how it turned out! 🙂
My nieces would love a little pocket teddy that's so cute. Your striped sweater is turning out great love that it's not matching up
I think the pocket teddy is adorable, it would make an awesome gift 🙂
Those mini Christmas Tree ornaments are so cute!
I think they look super festive! 🙂

Thank you so much, I hope you have an amazing Christmas as well! 🙂 Tunics are definitely a harder category to find unique designs in.

I love fades, I can't wait to see the entire thing! 🥰

The weather is definitely weird this year 😅.

That Teddy is too cute! Do I have the patience ? Hmmmmm

I was thinking of that Tunisian sampler too! I really like what you did to your blue sweater too!
