I love how you can tell by how Phly is getting progressively more and more unhinged as the video goes, that the LOSAT is driving Phly nuts trying to get good footage.

I dont know why but i do great in the LOSAT i get like 3-5 kills per spawn xD
4:53 am i the only one who expected only 1 missile to be replenished after waiting for like a few minutes?
That was what I thought was going to happen when I went to reload on the test drive. Esp. after the long reload, the ammo icon started clocking around. Like, wtf?
But its explainable in that the missiles were reloaded (by a crane) in packs like MLRS rockets.

@@ZzVinniezZ You would think. But there are "habitual collectors" who just have to have every vehicle, sticker, and doo-dad, Gaijin dangles in front of them.
These aren't that hard to do for hi level players. Smigol has a vid of his smiting entire teams with a Wyvern to club his way thru it.

The most in accurate thing bout this vehicle is the missile drop.
The Losats were nearing mach as they left the tube. They were going fast enough to not drop.
And on both this and the Humvee installation the tubes were angle up by a few degrees to allow the missile to easier shot over terrian.
Bullshit.
plus they should hit their max pen value much sooner as that rocket motor is insanely strong (and imo it should do hull break from the KE it exerts because it literally split targets)
@@JacobP1234 hull breaks not in the game for tanks anymore.
It seems they have given it a slightly more appropriate boost after launch now, I can get good angles even facing slightly downwards.

Gaijin is turning every bloody map into a CSGO close combat brawl and then makes a vehicle like this.
Im fairly sure the different appartments don't talk with each other at Gaijin
I think maps are probably outsourced because we would get some map making tools by now after so many complains. They still accept them and draw up concepts probably, but how the map actually is laid out at the end could be out of their hands.
As you can notice most new maps dont have normal flanks, sniping spots or good spots in general. They make maps too open or a city map. This allows them to bring chaos into a gameplay so nobody wins. Also with each new update they remove existing sniping spots and nobody is talking about that.
I am, but I know nobody else who seems to care that WT is WoT 2.0 since a few updates. New Polen and Site 2271 or whatever are unplayable... @@nikolaperic6307

if the turret had 5+- elevation and depression the thing would be unstoppable
The irony is, that missile when it leaves the tube you would think would be moving fast enough to have almost zero drop. A drop that extreme right at the beginning would have been a major flaw that would be corrected, either by giving elevation ability to the tank or the turret, or oh... i dunno... putting a bigger engine on the rocket.
Irl it didn't drop like that. Just a shit game design
the missile drop is something that gajin fucked up with several missiles a few months ago to fix a few missiles that did have a drop. now every missile has the drop, even ones that historically should not have it.

planned to buy it but........not worth it...i rather just grind LAV-AD with premium boost which is infinitely more fun than this

I just realized it would really be beneficial to have a squad mate with a bulldozer so that you can create the elevation and depression needed at any spot
ever since they changed ATGMs its been hell to use them. every time you fire one you have to pray that it doesn't hit the ground. missed so many kills because of it
I was so hyped when they announced the LOSAT, then they made it a reward for a crafting event, not to mention they broke it completely

For the sake of gameplay, gaijin should add an indicator that shows where the rockets are pointed straight at. Maybe like the rocket ccip that planes get and put it on this thing just so you can know if your round is going straight into the ground off launch.

Ever since they redid atgm mechanics theyre all totally useless and broken. They all spawn at the end of the barrel with no speed and fall into the ground before you can do anything or randomly move with no input change. Gaijin is incompetent
Adding this right after they made missiles drop like rocks on launch was an interesting choice

It still has missile drop which it shouldn't and the shrapnel from one missile should kill any target.
I love that gaijin makes the missile dip so much which they provide NO PROOF for. They just don't want this thing to be a CQC menace like it could be

Using this thing even in test fire invokes the same emotions and energy as Basil beating his car, although the entire game is like that to be honest. Unless it improves I would hate to use it in a real fight.

It's a collectors item by the looks of it. And honestly, I think those event vehicles should be. They shouldn't be powerful and under BRed like it happened in the past, event vehicle should be for the people who want something insane looking in their hangar so they can flex in custom battles and have some satisfaction from using it in regular battles. But it should never be a main tank of a lineup.

at this point the event and battle pass vehicles are the reason i go on to grind. started war thunder 2 years ago and got to about BR 10 for most nations in that time. but after they added the strike drones i have gone to lower BR due to how BS they are. both when a lot of people on my team get them and then leave after maybe getting one kill, and the few times someone revenge kills me with one just to quit right after. why grind top tier when the gameplay there is bad. a fun low tier reward with some fun game mechanics is 10x as fun

6:00 holy fast missile batman. I believe those 'missiles' are only a tad bit slower than the top tier APFSDS rounds, which makes them stupid fast for a missile.
If it wasn't for the elevation problem and Gaijin being Gaijin, this could have been one of the most powerful vehicles in the game. Its APFSDS with SACLOS steering and instant reload speed. Balanced of course by no armor, low ammo count, and bad close-range pen
APFSDS is a really bad comparison, it's like normal AP with crazy energies

Yeah… I guess the LOSAT makes some sense considering that northern france, according to topographic maps, is relatively flat. However, the lack of turret elevation is probably a major design flaw.
