He wasn't just robbed, he got absolutely clowned upon by a youtuber, AND the server admin.
The "ban" is because of the enchants on the swords, it makes the victim stand to many pacets, or it makes the user crash when joining(like a crash arrow in mcWiiU) or it's a custom enchant or data tag

write a client modification, that's forceloaded on joining the server. It is loaded before anything else, so it can block those packets, or overwrite said variables.
I'm speaking as an 12 year old who doesn't even know Java, so please correct me if I'm wrong . . .
@@Tom-uy4io the server prevents being crashed by large packets, by removing the causer, that being the player.
you cannot overwrite anything without a mod being on the server, so no, not possible.

Love the storyline, but cant help but thinking this is fake or the server is in trouble, first of all, in order to get illegal items in mc you need to have command perms, which is usually achieved through a backdoor, second one of the items had an ability, meaning it was an item controlled by a plugin, items can't have abilities like that unless a command block or plugin is running in the background, judging by the ability "drip" it seems to be a command block, meaning the hacker had creative or had access to the give command or server nbt (this seems more likely).
the fact that it was all solved by banning him is bs, so either this video is faked or the server is in trouble, because backdoor access isn't through a minecraft account, meaning that this is either faked, or the hacker is laying low.
the other thing that weirds me out is how the hacker doesn't notice chief when logging on, if he has backdoor/admin access chances are he has a client with tracers, meaning the invisibility would do nothing, the hacker would know someone was in his base immediately upon logging on, and even though he was afk, logging onto a server requires human interaction, so he would have noticed that someone was there. Also a lot of the things in this video seem oddly convenient.
the next point is that the banning item clearly is interacted with by a command block or datapack or plugin, the reason this player can't be unbanned is that they never got banned in the first place, the most likely thing is that the player got banned in a way similar to the book ban (by overloading the players packet data) this can be done by adding an item to the players inventory or by tping them to y=infinity. the fact is it would require commands to be run, which would show up in the servers logs, meaning that the chances of this being a backdoored plugin is very high. (this is assuming the vid is real and not for entertainment which it has done very well)
next (and this point is way more speculative than the last ones) A lot of the enchantments were useless on the items, meaning either the hacker was lazy and used the same nbt for everything, but this seems unlikely, given that not every enchantment was on the item, meaning it seems more likely that the useless enchantments were added to make it look cool, whether faked for the video, or to look cool when someone was killed by it in chat idk
finally, if this hacker is real, the chances of them having alts is extremely high. So even if the hacker didn't have a backdoor and got op some other way, the chances of their alts also having op are extremely high, so banning the account really does nothing at all.
basically tldr: great vid but I question the legitimacy of it, but if it is legit I am warning the server owner that this person probably still has access to this.
Also you "destroyed the illegals" but... did you not say the players were trading them... so you just destroyed a small percentage of them and then the server is magically better?
you said rapid numbers of illegals, then destroyed an inventories worth.
And my actual final point is that this is a minehut server, judging from the server icon, meaning it is EXTREMELY unlikely that a person could backdoor it, and if they did, we would know about it since minehut is quite big. meaning the only possible way to get op, is to have someone with command perms give it to you. and this is why I think it is fake.
I accept that I may have made mistakes in how I analyzed this, so feel free to reply and correct me. I have my conclusion on whether I think this video is faked or not, and I have my reasons. Your opinion is your own, I am not here to argue with people, just to provide some stuff I have noticed.

The only way I can realistically see this working is if the hackers added a mod that ban certain usernames as soon as they join, so even if they're unbanned, they'll get banned instantly. But also like literally just find the mod you didn't install (or the newest one) and delete it.

the only other way I could think it would happen is if there was a plugin/mod that would wrongly read someone who died from an illegal as someone trying to do an exploit, banning them like a bookban would.

Pretty sure this video is staged.
1. to obtain these "hacked weapons" someone would need to have backdoor access to the server, no hack clients can just let you obtain "hacked weapons"
2. even if there was backdoor access, the owner can easily /deop everyone else using the console or by joining the game himself and deoping anyone with admin access
3. if there are hackers, its pretty easy to identify who was hacking and it would have been even easier to ban
so this video is definately staged.

@@astromask Weapons, Items, etc. are all made once a user has administrator access to the server. Its genuinely impossible for someone to use hacks to generate weapons that go beyond minecraft's basic enchants and even go as far as to banning people. Just doesnt exist.

y'know im not actually mad about those illegals (kinda maybe possibly perhaps arent my only ones anymore) but i was a little pissed at the time ngl
i think im just gonna list some "inconsistencies" with the server that i saw in this,
first of all i never dealt any illegals to anyone except friends, there was no black market (there were PLANS for one however but i was only joking one time about them having illegal items in them), nothing here was "hacked" in any way, i obtained all of my illegals from admins / admins who accidently left me in creative mode 🤡, I barely EVER killed actual players with my illegals (hackers and thieves i did before yeah, also roz's name is mari
and the "d" smasher was made by a friend ._.
the reason why knight didnt ban me outright is that first of all, im friends with literally every admin on the server except him and his brothers (although i kinda just know them and only really have actual disagreements with knight himself :p), and i also may have bought him his optifine cape so it'd be kinda bs to ban me, also have been playing for over 2 years at this point so that'd be kinda lame
also to everyone else this WASNT actually scripted, although i may admit that finding that netherite gear may have been 👀

Well, if someone is doing something on your server, you want to fight them in actual survival and have an adventure in it. If you just use spectator its boring.

It wasn’t scripted. The illegals most likely act as what is called a porta ban, a chunkban that is safe in your inventory. But when dropped, it would create a chunkban until it despawns due to having huge amounts of nbt data. When killed with one, it would do the same, but permanently or until the item was removed, due to that nbt data being sent directly to your game’s death screen. After messing around with chunkban s recently and learning a lot about how they work, that’s my best guess. Hope this explains it!

@@holographix4722 No, because they aren’t dropping the item. The item is safe in your inventory, and it floods the other player you kill with nbt data, only banning them. You would know if you read the comment, but it’s annoying to read that much so idrc lol
@@notpjkl i dont think that the game read with wich item you have been killed when you try to log back (it would not be useful and just add process to do for the game)
simply not possible. chunk bans cannot ban someone if they are killed by it. their client will NOT receive the nbt unless a shulker box full of tagstuffed items that are STACKED are dropped or dispensed near said player. Dropping the item would be impractical as both players would be banned until the item despawns, which is only 5 minutes. The reason the /unban command doesn't work, IS BECAUSE IT ISNT A COMMAND. The only way to unban a player who is banned with chunk bans is to simply remove the chunk ban. This could be done either with /kill @e[type=item] or just wait 5 min for despawn. if its not a chunkban, just do /pardon username. The reason /unban doesn't work but /pardon does is because /pardon is the only unban command in minecraft.

Honestly, the server owner probably called a buncha people to "roleplay" and easily obtained these ̶3̶2̶k̶ 255 swords in creative. And he probably wanted to either give you good content (this is really good content, enjoyed it) or record you on his own youtube channel for views and keyword inclusion.
trueee he couldve just spectator mode'ed and found them.. noting how these hacks are IMPOSSIBLE because hacks cant affect server side stuff like CREATEING ITEMS AND BANNING PLAYERS
