- I've only recently started playing DayZ, and I've been absolutely loving it. There is some really, really intense gameplay and always some funny moments which I've tried to capture in this video. DayZ experience: joined a game, got insanely lucky on gear , made a friend , played hours with him for him to backstab me . Great video tho! DayZ looks very enjoyable with someone you can Really trust.

Man, is there a common trend of people playing for hours with somebody then backstabbing them? I swear I've heard stories of other people having this happen to them.

@@EuropeanDreamz Sometimes all it takes is his buddy or his brother next to him egging him on to just shoot ya, so you really gotta play with people you've built a friendship with outside the game in order to trust them. lol

You should try some extreme sniping in SE5. When I’m doing an invasion, I spend a long time tracking them and never take a shot unless I’m confident it will hit. Some of my kills can take a long time. I recently picked up the Trench Gun and have been testing its range with the match shells, and I have to say it’s quite fun. Difficult… but fun. Haven’t tried sniping with it in Invasion yet but in the campaign, the furthest target I hit was 507m away.
Okay I think I switched thoughts while writing my last comment. My main point was to try some long range invasions with the shotgun

in DayZ you can lean to each side to better peek corners. it's also common to spam leaning left and right as a display of friendliness, known as "the wiggle".

Starts DayZ for the first time. Immediately jumps on servers that add features which go against the intended DayZ experience...
Kill messages, player markers, etc. Upped loot spawns, etc. This shit doesn't belong in the game, and you're doing yourself a disservice by playing on those easymode servers.
I mean play your game, but yeah, this guy makes a good point. Forced 1PP vanilla-like is the way to go, I know it's cool to see your geared char in 3PP but it really is just night and day in terms of fun and how well it plays in comparison.
