Grew up in Pittsburgh, Pitt grad, life-long Steelers fan. You did a great job showcasing the city! Speaking of Mr. Rodgers - I drove cab for a while after college and had the unexpected privilege of driving him downtown from WQED studios in Oakland.

Pittsburgher here. Thanks for showing off our city! I noticed you mentioning you drove to many of these locations. For anyone staying downtown, almost all of these sites do NOT need a car. In fact, the one place you did walk (the incline) was the least enjoyable considering the tight sidewalk and loud vehicles.
Besides Randyland, mattress factory, and the bicycle center (which are all in the same general area), everything else is maybe 15 min easy walk and/or close to the free light rail (the "T"). Even those few farther walks are not difficult or hilly. You could even use pittsburghs bikeshare program.
But some of the other pittsburgh sites, like the cathedral of learning, definitely drive/uber/public transit.

Pittsburg is another of my favorite cities to visit. . . and surrounding areas. My first impression was how all the bridges enhanced the cities beauty. I had the pastrami, delicious. I was a skeptic, but sold mid-chew! A folkart video of places across the country is a great idea!

I miss my hometown but will always jump at the chance to go back and visit. If you ever return i suggest you tour the Oakland section of the city where the University of Pittsburgh is located, as well as the Carnegie museums and Schenley Park where the Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens. And if amusement parks and roller coasters are your thing then a visit to Kennywood is a must. It has 3 of the best and oldest wooden coasters as well as newer steel coasters that are so fun to ride. Great video though, you did an excellent job capturing a fun day in the "burgh".

I'm a native Pittsburgher. You set up a really nice tour. For those who are planning a trip and have limited time, I would suggest you can skip Randyland. It shows up on all the Pittsburgh must see lists, but it's a little out of the way and I can't imagine spending more than 10 minutes there--one person's folk art is another person's junk (guess which camp I'm in). Primanti's sandwiches are OK, but mainly drunk food if you're a local. The original restaurant (where you went) is in the Strip District which is a great place to walk around and get Pittsburgh gear and awesome meats, cheeses, produce, seafood if you're staying in a place with a kitchen and want to cook. This is controversial, but I've never been a fan of Beto's pizza. If you must go there, I suggest getting the extra cheese which is a good mix of melted/not melted cheese. Other cold toppings are kinda gross IMO. Thanks again for a beautiful tour of my city. You really got a beautiful weather day. It's not always so sunny here!

Great town for roaming. Outlaws live there. Up on Hill. We watched Steelers from Porch. TV on.
