When one of my sons was just a toddler, he called a Hammer, a Whammer. And, now with my grandsons, I occasionally still do. That Copper version looked great. HAPPY NEW YEAR.
I tried your style of sitting while blacksmithing. Difficult at best. But I'm 70. I bought one of those Atas knife anvils, and used it about 13 inches to the top surface. And used a transmission jack as a seat. The setup limits my swing power. It may be ok for small stuff. However, you make it look easy. I guess it would grow on you over time. I like the minimalism setup you got. You got the best tong designs on TH-cam. Great job

Its a beautiful metal, the salt + vinegar patina on copper can get some pretty crazy colours as well, they do tend to need to be sealed under some spray on clear coat though and not something you can put near your mouth. All the best for the new year
Hi glen, great looking hammer. I just had someone curse me out in the comment section of my video so I just want to spread some positivity. You’re doing a great job

The finish you ended up with is really cool. It almost looks like worn weathered leather - love it!
Once again, thinking outside the box produces a uniquely beautiful product. Love it!
That's a good-looking hammer, Glen.
That looks like color case hardening. Pretty cool Glen. Happy New Year my friend.
Beautiful hammer Glen. Another project very well done!
That's seriously cool mate. I love the way you turned "too small" swedge (sorry about the spelling) into added style. Looks fantastic.

What is your hammer eye punch made out of. Thing is a beast!!
بسيار عالي. 👍
Можно было перековать старый молоток, а не делать новый. Старый вполне неплохой ещё.
