- The exposure is quite intimidating, the foothold polished, and I was still getting used to climbing with a big pack, but was fairly straightforward once I started going through the motions.
Thanks. I'm heading up there in a few weeks and have had difficulty locating this route in the past.
Enjoy it!
Thanks for this. What a way to climb a beautiful mountain! For me it was the hardest route on CR traverse. Remember the huge drop. Also most people do it later in evening tired. I think it's severe.
The exposure does make it feel way more serious than the grade would suggest
Nice video, thanks for posting. A couple of cams might have slotted in nicely.
Thanks again
Didn't carry any, unfortunately. Kept the weight down
Nicely climbed. Big serious routes there .
Thanks mate
Which shoes would you climb this with?
It's not Severe. It's actually easier than VD, normally done in hiking boots, or soloed. The fact that you get terrified doesn't make the grade harder.
Climbing walls should have holds that pull out just to make it more 'trad'
Haha
wow!
Cheers, mate!
GreT effort boys
Cheers!
It's graded as severe
Yeah, saw it the other day. I think it's a recent upgrade and may have something to do with a missing gear placement at the end of the traverse.
