Hello friends! Just wanted to say I'll not be in the premiere today as still travelling home after a monstrously successful FGS Showcase! Big love to you all + hope you enjoy the video! ❤️
One of the better events with an ocean of titles, I don't think it could of gotten better, unless Konami or Capcom showed up and said they were actually going to make a good game soon
Let's not forget Kelvin and Virginia (mostly the former) from Sons of the Forest. The ability for Kelvin to get stuck running into a wall, under a ramp/stairs/platform, etc, is infuriating, and I can't tell you the number of times Virginia has gotten stuck between my defensive wall and my electric fence, requiring me to remove a log to free her, a log which, was in some base locations, difficult enough to place in the first place. and if that happens during a raid? Well, unless I was really quick on the draw, Hello Respawn!
Let's add Guild Wars: Factions to the list. NPCs that run ahead and get themselves killed, failing the mission. NPCs (important NPCs at that) that get stuck on the scenery, failing the mission. NPCs that pull more monsters or don't use assigned skills effectively.
Oh man, I grew up with Tenchu Wrath of Heaven! Have yet to play an earlier title (BUT I WILL, I see Tenchu 2 at my local game store and will buy it soon) Would love a deep cut BABY featuring ambitious games that didn't get the recognition they deserved due to a dying console, limited hardware, or just plain ok execution that didn't win enough people over to be labelled as worth anyone's time. .... Is this just me trying to get Aidyn Chronicles the First Mage on N64 on an FGS video with my favorite youtube presenter? .............. ... yeah, but seriously, that game is something special!
You did Elder Scrolls Oblivion dirty by including it on this list. The AI certainly wasn't perfect and is lacking if compared to todays standard, but let's not forget that Oblivion was one of the first open world rpgs that had their NPCs actually follow flexible day routines instead of having most or all of them standing rooted to the spot until the player walks up to them and talks to them. The AI had some bugs and glitches but most of the time it worked just fine and it certainly did not stand out as any worse than the industry standard of its time. Yes, we can all laugh about the silly bucket trick, but the fact that this was even possible is actually a testament to how good Oblivion was - determining the line of sight for NPCs actually by their field of view, emanating from their eyes, instead of mere distance to the character and/or an arbitrary demicircle on the ground in front of a character.
Hey Gents! Did you guys ever get to play Breakdown on the original xbox!? I always loved the storyline. With so many remakes, this one deserves a Sequel.
Also in Tenchu you could use one poison rice over and over as long as you got the guy going for it first, if you use this for the whole level like I have, just think of what that rice would look like after guard #30 goes after it?
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants In Manhattan. It's a fun game where you're playing as all four turtles at once, and hey, that's what you want from a TMNT game(glares at Danger Of The Ooze), but it loses points because of two things: 1- no multiplayer, that would've been fun as crap, like Marvel Ultimate Alliance, and 2 because you can't tell the three other turtles to follow you and have them actually follow you. Example: there's a rooftop level where you fight Wingnut. The gimmick here is, and it's a good one honestly, the weather is basically trying to murder you. There's high winds, so parachuting from one rooftop to the next to track down the enemies you're after takes some planning, and halfway through the level there's lightning striking at random, sometimes cooking you if it feels up to it. Now, in between fights you can put up a healing circle, gather the turtles together and just wait as everyone's health is restored... In a normal level. Here, the wind is pushing you out of your circle like you're on a treadmill, and the lightning strikes are frequent enough that the healing benefits are basically nil. There IS(hold on, I'm getting somewhere) a solar panel you can hide under. It's like a little tent. You can't be hit by lightning, the wind won't push you around and y'all can duck under here and refill your health... By y'all, I mean maybe two turtles. The other two will apparently decide a guard is needed? Because they'll stay just outside. You can tell them to follow you, and they'll try, bless their hearts, but rather than going in through the side they'll just stand by the edge where there Isn't an opening and get hit by lightning.
I'm replaying RE5 now and I have to say that Chris's AI is much worse than Sheva's. I did one run as Sheva and the amount of times that Chris would step in front of me and block my line of sight to enemies was ridiculous.
What about Kingdom Hearts? U never give ur AI companions items unless u absolutely must because they will use a healing when you've only gotten hit a few times instead of when you actually need it or just burn through their MP & then be unable to heal u because oops they've used their entire MP on enemies that could easily be taken care of by a bonk on the head
I would love to add Alien: Colonial Marines to the list, not only was it the reason it became one of the worst games of the decade, but it made the super spooky Xenomorphs do literal nothing in almost every stage, making the game as easy as a kids title. A game I sadly pre-ordered WITH the statue edition, just to trade it back in, in shame
I agree it definitely deserved at least a mention if not a spot based on how easily it was "fixed". I know it was just one line in the code but I believe it was just a decimal that was either not there or off. Something deservingly dumb for a dumb game with dumb AI.
Payday 3 is a more recent game, but man is the AI terrible. Literally useless to the point they won't help each other up if they go down. And they go down quite often. And yes I'm talking about the AI at launch. Couldn't tell you how it plays anymore since I gave up on it a few months ago.
Honestly i thought of the guest character ai in final fantasy tactics especially if they have a 50% of running into their death causing you to basically lose the battle. The enemies are fine the guest character especially annoying at times namly a girl named Rafa.
Was I the only person who had a Trico that did everything I wanted them to? Tbf I loved on mine constantly showering it with adoration in the early game so maybe it was just rewarding me.😅
I wish Capcom would redo RE Outbreak, or give us a third game. Online wasn't where it needed to be n the ps2 for these games, but now a days it would be amazing. Just no RE operation bs please.
I say this with love but it's a miracle Dragon's Dogma got that sequel as my god that AI, when the online guides tell you to essentially not trust your AI pawns with enchanting weapons, healing, moving, attacking, and defending you know it's bad, and granted once you get high enough it doesn't matter but at the same time losing your pawns to Daimon's rift attack, or to drakes, or so many time to Death because they won't listen is just my god.
Guys if ai was good in games it be too hard they just headshot u everytime and people would be mad. i mean all games purposly now make there ai dumber then it could be so the game isn't impossible .
Ghost Busters The Game Deserves @ Spot On The List as well….constantly Playing Nanny 2 The Rest of You’re Team … Makes U Wish U were Anywhere BuT There… Hair was Pulled & Words were Said… I Beat The Game On The Hardest setting, HoweveR … A lil BiT of Me Died inside T|-|T Day…😅👌
You can tell when Jules knows in his cold, cold heart that an episode sucks because he tries so hard. Lean into the suck or make better lists. Problem solved. Your welcome.

Top notch job on the gaming showcase, by everyone at FGS! Take some time and recharge from the trip, y’all deserve it.
Safe travels!!

Your videos are my favorite from What culture. The positive end messages are great. Thank you
I didn't know Conan O'Brien did youtube😂😂
Hahaha. You are the second person in my life to say this to me. Heading for a hat trick.
Naahhhh, if you like it, rock it. At least you found a style you like.
Right. That's was my first thought too 😂😂
Secret son of Conan. Get a haircut bruv

I am impressed with the deep cuts from this ep.
Was Nathan going for the Conan O'Brien look? 'cause I love it hahaha
That hair is it’s own character lol
Look I put too much product in it and didn't have time to wash it again I APOLOGISE.
@@Nathan_Byrne Conan O'Brien called, says he has never heard of you. Bit harsh to be honest.
“EXTREME CLOSE-UP! WAAAAHHH!!!”
OMG.. the American Dad episode where Stan had to learn to fight robots by low kicks.. i get the reference now. It only took how many years. 😢
"Sweep low. Rob Lowe."

yeah, but seriously, that game is something special!
Theres a you tube video called " ASHLEY THE TERRIBLE " it captures her essence perfectly

My two favorite people in one video awesome sauce 🎉
That's very kind. Thank you!
Bro the webcam tracking bit cracked me up hard.
Big love Jules ❤
Hey Gents! Did you guys ever get to play Breakdown on the original xbox!? I always loved the storyline. With so many remakes, this one deserves a Sequel.
I've only played the Rise of the Robots sequel, Rise 2: Resurrection.
It wasn't much better.
Also in Tenchu you could use one poison rice over and over as long as you got the guy going for it first, if you use this for the whole level like I have, just think of what that rice would look like after guard #30 goes after it?

I drove my dad crazy begging for tenchu for weeks til he got me it That original trailer blew my child mind Needs a remake so bad!!!

Everyone knows about that one though since it's a textbook example of crap ai
@@eddythefool and based off the thumbnail, it should of been at least mentioned, not every cut is deep for him
@@Insanemonk11 I'm guessing they were trying to avoid the easiest targets.

Every Gears of War game not that it stopped me from playing on insane... Yeah the AI teammates were... something.
Respect for using "portmanteu" and knowing what it means...great vid mate
I was actually watching a friend play sonic the hedgehog 2 and saw tail literally pushing the opposite direction of a block.
Buddy, I've got the theme from the first tenchu in my head late at night, good move on the mention
Secret of Mana. How many times did your companions keep running into walls?
Never trust a Pom's opinions on food.
Tenchu was great, the cheesy VO! "Ichigyo where have you hidden?"
Payday 3 is a more recent game, but man is the AI terrible. Literally useless to the point they won't help each other up if they go down. And they go down quite often. And yes I'm talking about the AI at launch. Couldn't tell you how it plays anymore since I gave up on it a few months ago.
I had to laugh at the intro because the first game I thought of when I read the title: Daikatana.
Idk who that other guy is or nothing, but his actually pretty funny ... despite how that hair looks

Tenchu deserves a remake for PS5.
Jules, you at least have 5 brain cells that's way more than me. All out of brain power, shutting down.
How did you make this list without mentioning Alien Vs. Predator: Colonial Marines?
It's a pretty common inclusion on most lists. It's really tedious to hear it so often.
World War Z and anything made with Frostbite engine.
Best loading screens of gaming
I nominate the human AIs in all Halo games
Was I the only person who had a Trico that did everything I wanted them to? Tbf I loved on mine constantly showering it with adoration in the early game so maybe it was just rewarding me.😅
Games that would benefit from updated AI neural network learning.
Dude looks like Conan O'Brien from another dimension
Oh man that Nathan guy has a cool accent. Hope to see him in more vids. And dont mind what others are saying about your hair. Rock that shit, king!
Sounds like you'd enjoy Nathan's Soapbox Show - th-cam.com/play/PLHC1RHOlzXr1sv3rG-OWT0VkpV0ACVEGT.html&si=hj9biVf9W3bPHlhI
Bloodbowl 3 worst ai I've ever seen
Omp that clip 🎉 😂😂

Why does he keep calling Conan O'Brien Nathan?
I know! Weird, right?
That Dark Conan haircut… 🤌🏻
Balls shouldn't be hard though...... 🤔
The addition of the other dude is kinda jarring.
Mario Hoops 3 on 3 AI was also 🗑️
Naw cyberpunk is updated omg it's so real naw just sand box a save try anything out you want it's amazing

tenchu 4 life
The compressor on the Scottish guy's voice is way too strong it's irritating to listen to it pumping, and it just makes him twice as loud as you
Dead Rising...what? You expected zombies to have some sort of intelligence? Really? lol
Conans voice kills me. Sorry
