I thought the series was fantastic. Don't really understand the criticisms of some people. I give it a 9/10. Great pacing, story, characters etc.etc.etc.

Series was damned amazing. My first thought was "what is the experiment in Vault 33?" Then you learn Vault 32 and Vault 33 are connected. Hmm....Then at the end you learn the experiment is Vault 31, 32, 33 being connected _IS_ the experiment.
The worst thing about the show is season 2 is at least a year away.

honestly i feel like this show just idk how to explain it its like it did everything a fallout series felt like it needed to do nothing more and nothing less like it had a job to do and it knew what that job was and it did its job.
I finished watching the show last night and I think they got just right. The tone was right, the humour and darkness was right and the plot twists were just right also. I also liked the way they portrayed ghouls as both people and ferals, which is so correct lore wise.
Liked the ending tease too, and can't wait for season 2 😀
It's definitely not the fallout i grew up with neither the greatest show as some things were meh but many aspects worked amazingly and the more you get into it the better it gets ☝️

The bit with the photo on the pip-boy was really out of place and I was like “never seen it do that before” 😂 but I’d recommend the show to anyone regardless of if they’ve played the games or not

For me the easter eggs are the music - i think it covered the games well with its music score
I love that Tim Caine says "China dropped the nukes." and Bethesda/Amazon says, "Vault-Tec." I'll be honest, I don't think the complaints that Amazon changed the lore to avoid losing international business have any logical origin in this case. I honestly think it was the correct lore for the series. Logically, from the lore itself, the attack was a surprise. While Chinese stealth subs did fire, I believe the indications point towards Vault-Tec having control over that as well. There is a good possibility, Vault-Tec may have even instigated the Chinese invasion of Alaska, just to sell the "Miracle" of the T-45, and later the T-51b Power Armor, as well as the Vertibird armored infantry delivery platform following their acquisition of West-Tek.
The only irony I see is that Amazon produced this. A show from a video game that is a marvel of commercialism, while simultaneously showing how dangerous and evil it can be to allow the companies and brands people fanaticize over so much control that it exceeds even government, or as it was aptly put, "What happens when the Ranchers have more power than the Sherriff?"

Regarding fallout, agree with all your comments and can't wait for season 2. Seen it twice already and there are soo many little details to pick up.
Hope you do a deep dive of it, as it gets even better with a second viewing.
Simple things like the ghoul saying this after Lucy shoots him with the dart, " a small drop in a whole lot ofdrugs" or something like that...implying that he is full of drugs himself in order to live.
Also, if you call the number advertised for vault tec, you actually get a message... check it out as I don't want to spoil it.
Right up there with Arcane and EdgeRunners for me. Absolutely amazing series
As one who was there for Mortal Kombat: Annihilation in 1997, I hope everyone with functional joints appreciates the feast gaming fans have been getting. The Last of Us, an actually tolerable Mario movie, and Fallout in the span of a single year.
I went into the series expecting a flop. Had seen some complaints on twitter (I know.. my first mistake was reading them) and just had low hopes. Was blown away by the finale though, ended up loving every episode.
I like the show I just don’t like how the Brotherhood said their highest clerics are in the Commonwealth, not in the Lost Hill Bunker in California
