Repair of a dusk to dawn timer PART 1

In this video, I look at a timer which has stopped working. I replace some bad capacitors and reflow some bad looking solder joints. This shows the basis of a visual inspection (visually identifying potentially failed components) instead of actual circuit troubleshooting which will be in the next part. This gives an example that proves that changing capacitors won't always be the solution to a problem and further troubleshooting is needed. I have an interstellar timer that turns off and on when it is set on “dusk to dawn”. Can it be fixed.
