I love mine. They are sweet. And that is coming from a PE fanboy and user of 10 years… the Field One Force really is a NICE gun. I wish they had more custom anno options. I went with dust black and got a blue acculock dynasty barrel kit and it really accents the black well.
I watched the efficiency video and 7 pods on the 68/45 isn't what bob long is know for. I guess this gun can only improve from here. I wonder if the cup seals makes this gun more inefficient or its just the design of solenoid exhausting too much air?
the problem is that they want a plug and play marker to compete with the cs2 which means it cant really be tuned for great efficiency or a smooth shot like old BL markers. You just get an average marker with average efficiency and average shot quality.
Whats the point of having 4 eyes in a modern marker? The older flagships used to do it so that the marker could precharge the solenoid before the ball was fully seated which allowed the manufacturers achieve higher BPS back when everyone was chasing higher fire rates. But since fire rate really isnt a factor anymore I really dont see the point of a double eye system. I mean I guess redundancy is a good thing but I dont think that modern markers really run into eye failure problems anymore with how good antichop tech is now.
The purpose is still the same as it's always been - to make uncapped semi-auto a little easier. This is the only benefit it has ever had. Most every field I play, uncapped semi is what's legal so I think it's probably helpful for me.
The lack of tooless features kinda kills it for me. It’s 2019, and the amount to screws that need to be removed for a high end gun isn’t really good enough.
Yea that's not really a 'kills it for me' kind of feature. Guns have screws. you cant expect to buy a marker not knowing anything about it not reading the manual and when it goes down you ask someone else to fix it. as you said its 2019 people can fix their own shit and screws aren't a deal unless your 12 lol.
@Jason Henley just yesterday, i woke up from a dream and found that i had toollessly removed the grip frame from a paintball gun in my sleep. This is a common occurrence for me, and illustrates why this feature is non negotiable.
tournament/speedball is dead where I live, but woodsball and magfed seem to be growing. Its not enough to save the sport but magfed has really been growing. Every other week I see a new guy with a tmc show up at the field
the 8 push down connectors of the eyes couldn't be packed more closely together. lots of contact surface that might cause signal issues, once paint gets in there. the eyes of an old proto reflex look better isolated and failsafe than this. are 4 diodes really necessary? how much power do they draw? the AA batteries and the rechargeable combo is a no brainer, i've never had any issues getting batteries from someone else at the field. must be the first marker with that option. they solved a problem that never was. the gill style milling reminds me of a decade old bob long. the only thing i like without having shot it is the display. feel free to correct me, not a fan of this marker.
Hey I got a question and I can’t seem to find any information on it does anyone know what the burst disks mean? My tank has a 1.8k one and a 7.5k I went to fill it up at a scuba shop and the guy busted it at 2000 psi and he told me it could only go to 1.8k psi but it’s a 4500 tank I have searched for hours but can’t find any details on it so it would be great If someone could help me out.
Kangaroo Grills a burst disk is a safety feature that regs have. So if you filled it past the recommended limit like 4500 the burst disk will blow and let out all the air so the tank wont blow up on ya. Also it will blow if the output pressure from the fill station is like 1.8k for instance. Dont @ me if im wrong but I believe thats why it will blow
The 1.8k is the after reg safety. So if he was filling the tank properly and that blew you need to rebuild the reg. If he was filling through the reg not through the fill port below the reg it would definitely blow the 1.8k Bust disk.
@@kangaroogrills2635 yes the 1.8k burst disk is the regulated pressure the if you have a 4500 psi tank and regulator. The high pressure burst disk should be 7.5k. So if you are filling through the fill nipple under the reg and the regulator is good it would be fine. If it is still blowing it you most likely have a bad o-ring in the reg causing to much pressure after the reg. most regs are 800psi or less. I shoot mostly bob long so have mine all set to 450 pis or less.
Had my money ready at cup to buy one.. until I held it. It felt great in every aspect except for that fore grip. I think they dropped the ball on it big time. It felt cheap. It felt slippery. It’s way too thin. Huge mistake in my opinion.
Im going to be honest I was hype about this gun but the fact that you have to use Allen keys to get to the grip frame I’m not impressed I’m staying with my Cs2 it looks cheap drop a first time gun for almost 1600$ to compete with the best gun in paintball the Cs2 really not impressed
Repr117 what I’m saying is I was expecting a all LED board bigger of course it has to come with a great case and parts kit is 1549$ dollars and make it all aluminum grip need some robber on the grip winter ❄️ and muddy weather will slip right out your hands.
Box falling apart, old style "very small" grip readout, old style grip styling reused from "all" the bob guns, old style trigger reused feed neck reused, reused grips, reused 4C eye system and no need for two power sources on a gun with mediocre efficiency but what else would you do with an empty fore grip? Supper unimpressed and not worth the price IMO but to each their own rock on 👍🏻

Packaging is really really good, they killed it from what my first impressions are
Now that it’s been a year, how does it feel? Still holding up?
@@HalfbreedTrini I didn’t buy one. That was my comments after watching the video. I have a luxe x.
Someone already said it but dam is it true. It's like an Onslaught and CS2 had a baby. Right now I am bumping my CS2 and Onslaught together trying.
Reminds me of the insight + onslaught + improvements. I loved my insight. I'm waiting for the polished silver.
Nice! Long live Bob Long!!!
The only thing I dont like is the milling. Hope Dynasty gets a custom gun made. Also maybe a HK milled Force.
Kinda bummed you can’t fine tune the position of the grip, I thought you could slide it not just two positions

Will they be making a mechanical version? I might buy that one.
Rory, you are the absolute best. I'd like to buy you a beer one day. Or some sushi or something.
Long live the Marq platform!
is the grip a metal and is that bad?

I was thinking the same thing. My only explanation is field one utilizing old stock and modifying it to lower costs. But again that's just a hunch.

Paintball technology has stagnated.
@Richard HART sadly yes
There's not much return on the sport. Woodsball had picked up in my area though. I guess people are going back to their roots
Woods ball is 💩 speedball all the way
I've been having blast with mechanical and pump lately.

This or CS2 Pro
Go with the cs2 pro 🙏

Yup, I see a $900 marker here. There’s literally no reason to pick one of these up over anything in the same price range
