In this video I will show you how to make dual lighting effect easily using photoshop 2024 #bennyproductions #graphicdesign #photoshop #piximperfect #editor
as a 2d artist i was thinking about the same thing, or just create a mask and then manually blur or blend, either way there many ways to achieve the same result imo
If you’re doing this professionally and someone’s paying you to do it. They expect it to be with precision and to look nice and perfect. Not quicker and easier… if ur doing this for a quick thumbnail or something personal then sure go for it. But if you’re a professional that isn’t how you get $
For those lacking explanation: Artist adds new layers, sets their mode to "color", then draws black in the blue layer's mask, which effectively erases parts. Standard Graphic Design method and recommended. However, I also recommend trying out the gradient fill tool in them masks for smoother and more interesting effects, instead of just roughly brushing over. It looks less cut off. Especially if you play with the Radial Gradient option of the Gradient Tool.
I've never do this, but pretty sur you can do it. You can go in Fusion add a background node with a color and change is composite mode. Repeat the same with an other one and mix them together.
This is just a more complicated version of doing the same thing, lol. Just set the layer to the correct setting with the first one and use the airbrush, it will do the same thing as erasing parts of it with the airbrush.
Actually closer with the first method. Just do it on a new layer and set the layer blend mode to color. Less layers, no need for masks.
Exactly 🤣
Nah, it's not. Look at the bfore and after. The whites and greys are distictly highlighted when using two mask layers.
@@willowwu8061 The blue and red color overlay have the same brightness properties. It would be the exact same effect with less layers.
agree, nothing wrong on first method, its just need to make it new layer and change blend to color, its just the same on second method
The first method aren’t letting you adjust anything, that’s why it’s bad and the second one is the way to go
Or make a gradient and set the blend mode to multiply. Make a black layer and add an gradient overlay effect for full control of the gradient

@@nothorren you know what they say, many roads lead to Rome
The first method was quicker and easier, all he had to do was set the blend mode to something like overlay, and done.
Yeah, I agree with that 💯💯

@@YourFUEGOif done correctly there’s no perceivable difference in result. Thus, the extra work isn’t warranted
All he had to do was follow the damn Train C.J.
I *WAS* waiting for the ctrl-J... But you actually did it closer enough.
And the first method is nice btw
Only if you set the blend mode otherwise it sucks lmao
Need more tutorial like this. This one is op 🔥🔥
On it! ❤️🔥

Thank you ❤️
Shown without much talking. Impressed. Liked. Subbed. Appreciated.

Wow! Learnt something new. Thank you
This method allows you to change the color later but if you're already set on the colors you want the first way works just fine.
nah you can select the colors with lasso anywhere any time and change color with ctrl+u
Going to use it for poster design saved it
Im not going to remember how to do any of this but it looks cool when u do it
Good for gran turismo cover page
You have now created every star wars poster ever
Awesome effect! Thanks for sharing 👍
Thanks for watching!

You could also use a linear/constant collor gradient.
Frigging brilliant
Music these days sounds like in was written while someone was browsing their refrigerator lol
❤❤❤❤Please tell me the name of the application
Id probably use a side brush or make the brush later to soften the transition a bit more
Wow so epic 😮😮😮
First method be done in seconds 😊
Nice! 👍
I thought about splitting the image in half and then adjusting the saturation in the respective layers to get blue and red

Work smarter ❌ work harder✅

this only works on certain images with a lot of black in them. you gotta play with it more if it’s a lighter image.
Cool 😊
I feel like this effect looks far better when the image isn’t monochrome.
Nothing can't beat the real thing
😮😮😮 wowwww gajab Bhai ❤️❤️
Cool

设计出这款软件的真是个天才
i can now waste 20 extra seconds to achieve the same effect, thanks
Amazing how you resize photoshop window
Oot, can you explain the position of light in this image
Could have gotten the same effect by using the paint brush, like you started, by changing the layer blend mode.
So cute this new generation learning old shit
Good job 👍
Nice video.
First method for ease (with colour blend), second for easier adjustment. Simple as. Both work
Yes, you are right 💓
And boom! You have Gran Turismo 5 cover
let him cook🔥🔥🔥
Does it work with every video or only dark/black and white pictures?
If anything, you can mess with the properties of a normal color photo to make it.
Nice
Thanks 🍂
❤
Yeah OP
Dis is 🤑💰👍
Damnn 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
From where do you learn this??
i hope 2021 version have this
Do it in GIMP. Then i will be impressed.

Soo coool
Very cool
could of inverted red but ok
Good job
The first method will also give same result of you change the blend modes.
First method is faster second allows for easier edits and alterations.
Wow
Damn
Now you can work in Disney advertising design

I prefer riro Ron’s version
Мне первое больше нравилося
just use gradient
Add a little bit of.....spice
You could’ve just made the first method color mode. Would’ve been the same.
1. Gradient Map ❌
2. Solid Color ✅
Easier
-Brush, put it to mode:color
-pick your color
-paint
