I was reluctant to add a kicker to my boat....at first. But after having one for about two years, I'd never want to be without it. My boat is about the same size as yours and I can get my little Suzuki down to just under 1 MPH if needed. Sips gas, too. Plus, if you get a kicker with electric start, it will have an alternator and charges your crank batteries while in use. Win, win.

Hey, thanks for watching. I also like the Fisherman. I walked around in one recently, and it's nice for sure. I like the Impact 1875 because I fish multi species, and I like to have more access to the fish. I love to bass fish, and it performs well in that category. My favorite place to fish is Erie. All of my walleye trolling videos are on Erie, and this boat has performed well. Always keep in mind that there is not a boat big enough for Erie, and the lake definitely deserves your utmost respect. This boat handles big swells, and can get through some decent sized waves at a slower speeds. Staying in tune with weather reports and knowing when to call a trip off is the most important thing when considering Erie. Be sure to have both a fixed mount and a hand held marine radio. Sorry for the rambling, but I feel obligated to share that. That being said, fishing style should be the main concern when deciding which to get. Thanks,, and thanks for watching! I have enjoyed this setup. I wanted a deep- v to handle halfway decent conditions on Erie and still allows access to fish when bass fishing. The rod trees was probably the best thing I added due to limited space when the sport top is up. Along with the cradles and Bert's ratcheting rod tubes I can get 5 per side and nets up top, or two long lines up top for 12 rods total. Funny thing is, all these rod holders and I fish alone 99 percent of the time.....lol. The only thing I want to add at this point is a kicker motor to allow longer time on the water. The batteries for my trolling motor are 3- 31 series agm 's, which allows 5-6 hours of trolling time depending on speed. Now that I have started fishing the fall tournaments, a kicker would give me the ability to fish all day trying to land the big one. No I ended up not selling my Bike. She turned on the tears and refused to let me sell it. So we made a Deal. When she gets her check in a few months. I get to pick out a Boat... Under 50k 😂 I told her I'd only need around 25. Glad you're doing good 🥰🎣🤙 God willing we'll be able to get together and do some fishing 🙏😀
