When this game first came out, I grinded this mode so much. I used to be able to do solo. But took a break. Came back, never again. I do remember trying to really get that Cleo heavy rifle. Made me forget the weapons can be unlocked, when you first start off.
Exactly the same, used to be a breeze solo, left it a while and struggled when I came back. I don’t know if I was sloppy or they tweaked the difficulty, still a fun mode when it came out.
