I have been keeping the Sabbath for two years now. It has been a true blessing and I have grown so much in my walk with Abba Father.

The Old Testament gives us TWO lists of the Ten Commandments - one in the Book of Exodus and another list in the Book of Deuteronomy.
The Ten Commandments in Deuteronomy 5:15 tells us that the purpose of the Sabbath is to remember the Exodus - that is - the Exodus from slavery to Pharaoh in Egypt. If the purpose of the Sabbath in the Old Covenant is to remember the Exodus from slavery to Pharaoh in Egypt, then the purpose of the Sabbath in the New Covenant is to remember the Exodus Jesus Christ brought about by His death and resurrection.
Jesus Christ brought about the true Exodus - the Exodus from sin and death - which the Old Covenant Exodus was only a shadow.
Paul tells us in Colossians 2: 16-17, that not only are the "ceremonial laws" a "shadow" but that the Seventh-Day Sabbath is a "shadow" also.
Here it is in Paul's Letter to the Colossians 2:16-17 :
'16. Therefore do not let anyone judge you by what you eat or drink, or with regard to a religious festival (that's the annual Jewish feasts), a New Moon celebration (that's the monthly Jewish feasts), or a Sabbath day (that's the weekly Seventh-Day Sabbaths). 17. These are a shadow of the things that were to come; the reality, however, is found in Christ.'
"Shadow" does NOT mean "done away with", it means "transformed". The Old Covenant Passover feast was not "done away with" but was transformed by Christ himself into the Body and Blood of Christ at the Last Supper.
The sacrifice of the lamb in the Temple was NOT done away with but transformed into the sacrifice of Christ (the true Lamb) on the Cross. The altar in the Temple was not done away with but transformed into the altar of the wood of the cross.
A "shadow" is literally an outline on the ground or wall. A shadow on the ground is not me - I am the real thing - the shadow is only an image, an outline. So too, the "shadow" in the Old Testament has become the reality in Christ at his death and resurrection, which he accomplished on the First-Day of the Week - not on the Seventh-Day of the Week.
The Letter to the Hebrews tells us that the New Covenant is greater than the Old Covenant (Heb 8:6) - and that the New Covenant reality is made present in Christ Jesus - while the Old Covenant pointed to something greater to come - the fulfilment of the Old. Jesus Christ, by His death and resurrection, brought about the true Exodus - not from slavery to Pharaoh in Egypt - but the true and real Exodus from slavery to sin and death.
That is why Hebrews tells us that there is still a Sabbath day for Christians to keep but that it is On Another Day - that is what Hebrews tells us - the Sabbath is to be kept but kept on Another Day - its right there in Hebrews.
Hebrews 4: 8-11, specifically verse 8, shows us its on "another day"
For if Joshua had given them rest, God would not have spoken later about another day. 9 There remains, then, a Sabbath-rest for the people of God; 10 for anyone who enters God’s rest so that no one will perish by following their example of disobedience.
In addition - by Christ's resurrection on the First Day of the week - Sunday - Christ has brought about a New Creation - which the New Testament confirms - Christ Jesus IS the New Creation and He IS First-Fruits.
There are Sunday Sabbaths in the Old Testament (Lev 23: 9-14) called First-Fruits. God made the Jewish Feast of First-Fruits in the Old Testament to always fall on the Sunday - that is - the Sunday which followed the Saturday Sabbath in the week of Passover week - so Sunday Sabbaths are already given us in the Old Testament - and First-Fruits day is the very day on which Christ rose from the dead following the Passover Last Supper.
God had always planned that Christ would rise on the First-Fruits Sunday Sabbath - and Christians obedient to Christ's First-Fruits Sabbath Resurrection - gather every Sunday.
Christians celebrate and obey and fulful the requirements of both the Book of Exodus (creation - now a New Creation in Christ Jesus) and the requirements of the Book of Deuteronomy (remembering the Exodus from Egypt - now remembering the true Exodus from slavery to sin and death) by their Sunday celebration of the fulfilment and reality brought about by Christ on the First Day of the week - Sunday. Christians celebrate this on the day of the week Christ accomplished it.
In Christ Jesus Christians through Baptism have already entered the heavenly Jerusalem (Heb12:22) and sit with him on his heavenly throne (Eph 2:6) - they already participate in the eternal heavenly rest - and Sunday is a foretaste of that eternal rest - Sunday Mass (and every day of the week when we go to weekday Mass) we enter into that eternal heavenly community of the angles who forever pray and sing "Holy Holy Holy, Lord God of Hosts.." - this is the Mass - this is what the Mass is for - we don't have to wait for death and for heaven after death - we can come to the heavenly hosts and join with them in the eternal praise of God.
The Jews in their Sabbath keeping remember the week just past - but we Christians put God first in our week - by bringing everything we are and have, with and for Christ - Christ is the First and the Last - Sunday is the First Day of the week so we gather together to offer and give Him everything - and He gives us Himself - truly present in the Eucharist.

No. Merely keeping the sabbath is not demonic. Very dishonest wording. What is demonic is saying that sabbath-keeping is mandatory when Scripture explicitly says otherwise (Col. 2:16).
What is demonic is condemning Christians who don’t hold to sabbatarianism and telling them how worshipping on Sunday is pagan (it is not). What is demonic is saying how sabbath is the seal of God when the Bible says the Holy Spirit is the true Seal of God (Eph. 4:30).

@@deus_vult8111 There were two categories of sabbath. The context reveals that Col 2:16 is referring to the feast days, not the weekly Sabbath. The feast days were part of the ceremonial law written by man on parchment, and kept outside the ark of the covenant. The weekly Sabbath is on another level: It is one of the ten commandments, written by God on stone and placed inside the ark.
You seem to imply that if the holy Spirit is a seal of God, then his moral law cannot contain his seal. But according to 1Jn 3:24 this is not a contradiction, because the Spirit will dwell in those that keep his commandments.
A seal is typically a mark signifying the owners 1) name, 2) title and 3) jurisdiction. The 4th commandment covers all three. It is the one commandment that reveals the true identity of the author of the entire decalogue.

Colossians 2:16 already mentioned the feast days when it said, “Let no man therefore judge you… in respect of an HOLYDAY, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath…” You are obfuscating Paul’s words to be redundant.
The “HOLYDAYS” were ANNUAL celebrations like the Passover, the days of Unleavened Bread, the Feast of Weeks, the Feast of Tabernacles, the Day of Atonement, etc. the Israelites were required to cease working on those special days.
The “new moon” were MONTHLY celebrations where the moon was in conjunction with the sun and appeared as a slender crescent in the sky.
The “sabbath” in Col. 2:16 is simply referring to the WEEKLY 7th day that Israel had to keep with all the other special days that Leviticus 23 and Numbers 28-29 list.
      Read Galatians 4:10-11
“Ye observe DAYS, and MONTHS, and TIMES, and YEARS. I am afraid of you, lest I have bestowed upon you labour in vain.”
      “Days… Months… Times… Years…” (Gal. 4:10)
      -
      “Holyday… New Moon… Sabbath…” (Col. 2:16)
Paul is listing all of the liturgical days of the Jewish calendar by virtue of their frequency in either ascending or descending order of their occurrence. Annual, Monthly, Weekly. This is a fact even SDA scholars like Samuele Bacchiocchi & Ron DuPreez have admitted.
      Read Ezekiel 45:17
“And it shall be the prince’s part to give burnt offerings, and meat offerings, and drink offerings, in the FEASTS, and in the NEW MOONS, and in the SABBATHS, in ALL SOLEMNITIES of the house of Israel...”
      Read 1 Chronicles 23:31
“And to offer all burnt sacrifices unto the LORD in the SABBATHS, in the NEW MOONS, and on the SET FEASTS, by number, according to the order commanded unto them, continually before the LORD:”
      Read Hosea 2:11
“I will also cause all her mirth to cease, her FEAST DAYS, her NEW MOONS, and her SABBATHS, and ALL her SOLEMN FEASTS.”
      Read Nehemiah 10:33
“For the shewbread, and for the continual meat offering, and for the continual burnt offering, of the SABBATHS, of the NEW MOONS, for the SET FEASTS, and for the holy things…”

“You seem to imply that if the holy Spirit is a seal of God, then his moral law cannot contain his seal.”
👉 The Sabbath is not a moral law. The Sabbath is a Ritual / Ceremonial law just like the feast days and circumcision. Jesus said so himself.
Matthew 12:5 “Or have ye not read in the LAW, how that on the SABBATH DAYS the PRIESTS in the TEMPLE PROFANE the SABBATH, and are BLAMELESS?”
JESUS says the priests working in the temple on the sabbath are profaning it by working but are blameless! This means temple work takes precedence over the Sabbath!
      John 7:23
“If a MAN on the SABBATH DAY receive CIRCUMCISION, that the LAW OF MOSES should not be BROKEN; are ye angry at me, because I have made a man every whit whole on the SABBATH DAY?”
JESUS also says the work of circumcision is precedence over the Sabbath!!!
Everyone recognizes the priestly work in the temple and the act of circumcising a man are both CEREMONIAL and that they supersede the SABBATH. This means the Sabbath is CEREMONIAL and NOT moral!

“But according to 1Jn 3:24 this is not a contradiction, because the Spirit will dwell in those that keep his commandments.”
👉 Where did Jesus command us to keep the Sabbath? John 5:18 says Jesus BROKE the SABBATH. And Paul says the weekly Sabbath along with the Monthly New Moons & Annual Feast Days are NOT to be a matter of judgment among believers (Col. 2:16; Rom. 14:5; Gal. 4:10).
      Let’s examine your final statement:
“A seal is typically a mark signifying the owners 1)
name, 2) title and 3) jurisdiction. The 4th commandment covers all three. It is the one
commandment that reveals the true identity of the author of the entire decalogue.”
👉 This is more man-made logic that came from people like Ellen G. Witch & Uriah Smith and not the Bible. The Bible says the HOLY SPIRIT is the SEAL OF GOD. Where does the “Holy Spirit” denote a name, title, jurisdiction ?? NOWHERE. It’s a made-up list.
👉Just because a Bible verse mentions the name (YHWH), title (Lord) and dominion of God (Heaven/Earth) does not mean that verse is describing the Seal of God.
For example, using SDA logic, one could argue that the Torah is the "Seal of God" because it contains this verse:
“Behold, the heaven and the heaven of heavens [is] the LORD'S thy God, the earth [also], with all that therein [is].”
      (Deut. 10:14)
Or one could claim that the prophetic writings of Isaiah or Jeremiah are the "Seal of God" using SDA logic:
“O LORD of hosts, God of Israel, that dwellest [between] the cherubims, thou [art] the God, [even] thou alone, of all the kingdoms of the earth: thou hast made heaven and earth.” (Isa. 37:16)
“Ah Lord GOD! behold, thou hast made the heaven and the earth by thy great power and stretched out arm, [and] there is nothing too hard for thee.” (Jer. 32:17)
      Psalm 146:5-6
“Happy is he that hath the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope is in the LORD his God: Which made heaven, and earth, the sea, and all that therein is: which keepeth truth for ever:”
In addition to the Ten Commandments, look at all of the other Bible verses that mention God's name (God), His title (Lord), and His dominion (heaven and earth):
Gen. 14:22 “And Abram said to the king of Sodom, I have lift up mine hand unto the LORD, the most high God, the possessor of heaven and earth…”
Gen. 24:3 “And I will make thee swear by the LORD, the God of heaven, and the God of the earth, that thou shalt not take a wife unto my son of the daughters of the Canaanites, among whom I dwell:”
      Also Deut. 3:24, Deut. 4:39, Deut. 10:14, Jos. 2:11, 1 Ki. 8:23, 2 Ki. 9:15, 2 Chr. 2:12, 2 Chr. 6:14, Isa. 37:16, Jer. 32:17, Acts 4:24, Acts 17:24.
It should now be evident that just because God's name, title, and jurisdiction/dominion appear within a Bible verse does not prove that passage has any particular connection with the Seal of God in the New Testament.

What is demonic is condemning Christians who don’t hold to sabbatarianism and telling them how worshipping on Sunday is pagan (it is not). What is demonic is saying how sabbath is the seal of God when the Bible says the Holy Spirit is the true Seal of God (Eph. 4:30).

What does it mean for the Sabbath to be made for man and Also if man was made for the sabbath? Think!!
The son of man is Lord of the sabbath. What does it mean. It means the sabbath is subject to him (he created it so in it you should see him(he) the real purpose) and not him subjected to the sabbath.
      Think !!
For Christ to say he is Lord of the Sabbath means he is above the Sabbath or the real Sabbath is him . Or he created the sabbath . And he is the real deal of the sabbath. He is the real intent behind the sabbath and why it was created. That there will be a point when we will cease from our works as Gid did cease from his and has rested after creating the new man. The new creation .
So if I ask you . Are you the new man or still the man from Adam or of old??
It was communicated to the fathers as a day because they could not fanthom spiritual things . They were babes. The mode of communication to the fathers were a bit soft.
Which came first the law or Faith?
Is the law of faith ?
      Faith was before the law.
      Abraham was justified by faith.
Christ and his righteousness was manifested without the law. But witnessed by the law. Keeping the intent of the law.
So when we accept the work which Christ has done we have ceased from our own works to please God and have entered and accepted the real sabbath which is Christ . Into ours. So everyday of our lives is a sabbath because we are in Gods rest . Selah
The Sabbath days where merely a pointer to where and when or whom our righteousness will show up. Think
Hope the veils fall of your eyes.
Now if you ask me if i am keeping the rest of the commandments? I will say Yes. I am fulfilling it not to the letter but in spirit. Because it already became a part of me . Inherent or inborn .

Although the Jewish religious festivals are celebrated by Jewish Messianic believers, they are not relevant to Gentile Christians. Paul told us in 1 Corinthians 5:7-8 that Jesus is the Passover Lamb. The Lord’s Supper, therefore, has replaced the Passover. Hebrews 7:27 and other passages declare that man has been once and for all reconciled to God by the death of Christ. Other passages such as Colossians 2:16-17 and Romans 14:5-6 declare that the Old Testament feasts are no longer to be observed:
So let no one judge you in food or in drink, or regarding a festival or a new moon or sabbaths, which are a shadow of things to come, but the substance is of Christ (Col. 2:16-17 nkjv).
God’s moral law proceeds from the righteousness of God and can never be abolished. The Mosaic Law, as an expression of this moral law, is “passing away” in that it has been superseded by another law, that is, the standard of grace revealed in the New Testament. The believer is now under law to Christ (1 Cor. 9:21; cp. Rom. 8:2-4). Although the Christian is not under the Mosaic Law as a rule of life, some of the Law of Moses is restated in the New Testament-nine of the Ten Commandments are included. The Mosaic Law still constitutes a revelation of the righteousness of God and remains as a part of Scripture which “is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work (2 Tim. 3:16-17 nkjv; cp. Rom. 15:4).

Colossians 2:16 uses a plural form of Sabbath in Greek, as opposed to Acts 13:42, which uses a singular form. Therefore, we can conclude that Colossians 2:16 is about the ceremonial Sabbaths and not the weekly Sabbaths. Also, Hebrews 4:8 talks about the “rest” that Joshua gave when the Israelites settled in Canaan. This “rest” isn’t God’s final rest for the readers of Hebrews, since God did in fact speak of another day. As you can see, Hebrews 4 has nothing to do with the Sabbath.
Also, Jesus coming back to life on Sunday has nothing to do with the switch to Sunday. Rather, Jesus died on Friday, RESTED on Sabbath, and rose again on Sunday. Death is symbolic or rest here.

Everytime I remind myself "GOD" not man, "GOD" rested on the Sabbath and He "Blessed" it. Human preachers who inspired no scripture keep misleading God's people. Jesus said "If you love me keep my commandments!" Keeping 9 and making plausible excuses on the one is very obedient of us, isn't it? Any Holy Spirit led and convicted Christian should know for sure. It's not about been legalistic like the pharisees and saducees. The Peace and Joy of willingly obeying His Word coupled with a personal relationship with Christ is truly a pure and true Christlike identity in the world today. Our God is Good and Faithful. When we look at the scriptures for ourselves... and believe them... we start to see a very different "church" of Christ than we've been taught.
Yeshua and all his apostles kept the Sabbath. And after the cross they were still keeping it! As did Paul who was sent to the gentiles.

I think every Baptist has to watch that horrible movie nothing against Baptist but I never felt like I ever understood God’s love or what God was actually trying to tell us. I left the church and I prayed for God to show me the truth, and he lead me to the adventist Church, which has transformed my walk with God and I thank the Lord every day for it. One or two scripture verses won’t give us what we need to know how God wants us to live.
“Whom shall he teach knowledge? and whom shall he make to understand doctrine? them that are weaned from the milk, and drawn from the breasts. For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little:”
      ‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭28‬:‭9‬-‭10‬ ‭KJV‬‬
We have to take some from one scripture to the next to get clear understanding of how we should honor God in our daily lives.
The scriptures read when we obey God then we are his people and he will be our God.
The Bible is instruction on how we should live we can’t pick out what we chose to live by and think we will be In his kingdom

@@markbennett7797 I believe the Seventh-day Sabbath was made for Man as Jesus said. God's Sabbath and Israel's Sabbath are different.
In Genesis Chapter 1 verse 1 - 2 we read, in the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. The earth was formless and covered with darkness while a mighty wind swept over the waters.
Day 1. Then God created light and he separated light from darkness.
Day 2. God created a dome that separated the waters below and above.
Day 3. God made the dry land appeared. He called the dry land earth and the water the sea. He created the vegetation.
Day 4. He created light to separate day and night. He created fixed times, seasons, days and years. He made two great lights to rule the day and the night (sun and moon?).
Day 5. Then God created sea creatures, birds
Day 6. God created animals, beasts and man.
Notice that God's day 1, day 2, day 3 were not depended upon the sunlight or the shadow of the earth that caused our day and night. This is to say, God's day and night are not the same as our day and night which is a 24 hours cycle.
In the 10 commandments, God commanded the nation of Israel to keep the Sabbath rest just as he had rested on the 7th day after the completion of his creation.
Thus, Israel's Sabbath is just a foreshadow of God's Sabbath. It is just a copy.
Now, if we try to keep Israel's Sabbath then it should be from sunset on Friday to sunset on Saturday. However, if we are in Norway, or at the North pole, how will we observe the lengthy Sabbath day during April to August where the sun shines for about half a year?
Also, if we claim to observe Israel's Sabbath, then people all over the world especially the so called Sabbath keepers like the Seventh Day Adventists should keep the Sabbath exactly at the same time the Jews in Israel keep their Sabbath. But this will violate the principle of sunset to sunset in other parts of the world, like Norway. Therefore, it is not possible to keep Israel's Sabbath.
So far we have seen that Israel's Sabbath and God's Sabbath are different. We have also seen that we can't keep Israel's Sabbath too.
But then Christians are the new Israel and Jesus did not come to do away with the law but to fulfill it. So what about the new Sabbath?
Jesus said, come to me, all you who are weary and heavy laden and I will give you rest. What does this rest mean? Is it the same thing as Paul talked about entering God's rest in Hebrews 4 : 1 - 11? Paul said Israel did not enter into God's rest when they entered into the land of Canaan. That is why Paul further said God spoke of another day to enter into God's rest. Paul then exhorted the Hebrews to enter into that rest the day they hear God's voice without hardening their heart. From this passage, we see that God's rest, or God's Sabbath is not about 7 day cycle but about finding our salvation in Jesus Christ.
In the gospel, Jesus said that his Father is always working and likewise he was doing the same. This raises a question of how could God work always but still have his rest on the 7th day? The only logical explanation is that God rested from creating new things but he did not rest from sustaining the things he created already.
Thus, every day (24 hours day of our day) is a Sabbath day for God till he the day he creates the new heaven and the new earth.
And since we are to keep the new Sabbath, or God's Sabbath, of which Jesus is the Lord of the Sabbath, everyday should be a Sabbath day for us. We have found our rest in Jesus Christ. We don't have to roam restlessly to find rest in Judaism, Islam or Hinduism or Budhism.... We should observe this Sabbath rest till the day we receive our glorified body in heaven.

I make no comments for those who follow Judaism.
But for Christians, the rest of the 9 commandments are still valid. Of course, Jesus just raised the standards of those teachings so that we may live according to what God intended. We can read this in Matthew chapter 5 verse 17 to 46.
He said, you have heard it in the past, do not murder but I now say to you, do not even get angry with your brother; you have heard it in the past, love your brother but hate your enemies. But now I say to you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you. You have heard it in the past, do not commit adultery. But now I say to you, do not lust for any woman...

The 7th day sabbath in the Ten Commandments was not a shadow. It was instituted before sin entered. It was given to man/made for man Mark 2:27 and is not against us. Jesus expected His followers to be keeping the sabbath after His ascension to heaven Matthew 24:20. The feast days were the sabbaths that were a shadow of things to come and pointed to the cross. We do not celebrate feast days anymore. the sabbath in the Ten Commandments is a memorial of Gods creation and will be kept in the new heavens and the new earth. The sabbath is also a memorial of our salvation Duet 5:15
      Isaiah 66:22-23
“ ‘For as the new heavens and the new earth which I will make shall remain before Me,’ says the Lord, ‘So shall your descendants and your name remain. And it shall come to pass that from one New Moon to another, and from one Sabbath to another, all flesh shall come to worship before Me,’ says the Lord”
Revelation 14:12 shows that Gods people at the end of time who experience the mark of the beast will be keeping His commandments.

      The how about this:
Vatican CODEX 3.12.3 (some list as 3.12.2) The Emperor Constantius
“All Judges and city people and the craftsmen shall rest upon the venerable Day of the Sun. Country people, however, may freely attend to the cultivation of the fields, because it frequently hap-pens that no other days are better adapted for planting the grain in the furrows or the vines in trenches. So that the advantage given by heavenly providence may not for the occasion of a short time perish. 321 AD.” (quoted from Ayers, 284-285)
The first Sunday law in history was passed by Constantine. In the Latin manuscript of this law, the phrase translated as “VENERABLE DAY of the SUN" or "day of the sun” is venerabilis dies solis. Constantine’s decree was based upon honoring and esteeming the celestial body we call the sun. The decree did not honor the Hebrew God or Jesus Christ. Notice that no worship is mentioned; it simply declared a civil day of rest.
This law was not designed to mirror the Biblical Sabbath. Notice that farmers were not allowed to take off work on the day. The God of the Holy Bible gave us the Sabbath (Friday sunset to Saturday sunset) as the weekly day of rest for all people, regardless of their occupation. This command extends to farmers in their slow and busy seasons (Ex. 34:21).
      Codex Theodosianus
8.8.1 Emperors Valentinian and Valens Augustuses to Floria-nus, Governor of Venetia
      Chapter 3
Sunday Laws (Part 2 of 2)
The first four Sunday laws were issued from 321 to as late as 373. Two in 321, one at an unknown date, but certainly after 321, and the last one between 368-373. There would not be another one (that we know of) until 386 AD.
From 386 to 425, eleven laws were enacted that governed some sort of Sunday observance (including the annual observance of Pascha on Sunday). The Codex Justinian adds one from 469, bringing the total to twelve laws during a little over sixty years.
The sudden increase in Sunday laws, including the usage of the term ‘Lord’s Day’ in them, reflects the merger of the Roman Em-pire with the Roman Church.
-------Codex 11.7.13 The same Augustuses (Gratian, Valentinian, and The-odosius Augustuses) to Principius, Praetorian Prefect
On the Day of the Sun (Sunday), which our ancestors rightly called the Lord’s Day*, the prosecution of all litigation and ac-tions shall entirely cease. No person shall demand payment of either a public or private debt. There shall be no cognizance of any contention, even before arbitrators, whether these arbitrators be demanded in court of voluntarily chosen. If any person should turn aside from the inspiration and ritual of holy (sanctae) reli-gion (religionis)**, he shall be adjudged not only infamous but also sacrilegious. (Nov. 3, 386) (ibid, 300)
*The latin translated as “our ancestors rightly called the Lord’s Day” is quem dominicam rite dixere maiores. Dominicam has come to be known as ‘Lord’s Day’ by this time. Rite means a du-ty according to religious observance. Dixere means called or said and maiores means ancestors or forefathers. The use of the term maiores does not indicate length of time.
      ....................................................
      2. Moreover, We issue the forewarning that no person shall trans-gress Our law which We formerly issued, namely, that no one shall give a spectacle for the people on the DAY of the SUN (Sunday)* or disturb divine worship by holding such celebrations. (May 20, 386; more properly the law belongs to 392-395 AD). (ibid, 432)
Things to note about this law: This law only allows judges to take time off to attend amusements when the celebration of the Emper-or’s birthday or anniversary of their rule takes place.
*Sunday is not called the Lord’s Day, but by the common pagan name dies solis (Day of the SUN)

You Wrote: “The how about this: Vatican CODEX 3.12.3 (some list as 3.12.2) The Emperor Constantius…”
👉 Christians were observing Sunday as the Lord’s Day for hundreds of years before Emperor Constantine’s Sunday Law in ᴀᴅ 321. Let’s read what Christian authors before Constantine such as the Early Church Fathers said about this topic:
St. Ignatius of Antioch (died ~108)
“Those who lived according to the old order of things have come to a new hope, no longer keeping the sabbath, but the Lord’s Day, in which our life is blessed by him and by his death.”
      St. Justin Martyr (100-165)
“We all gather on the day of the sun, for it is the first day when God, separating matter from darkness, made the world; and on this same day Jesus Christ our Savior rose from the dead.”
      The Didache (late-1st century)
“But every Lord's Day gather yourselves together, and break bread, and give thanksgiving after having confessed your transgressions, that your sacrifice may be pure.”
      Tertullian (160-240)
“But you, many of you, also under pretence sometimes of worshipping the heavenly bodies, move your lips in the direction of the sunrise. In the same way, if we devote Sunday to rejoicing, from a far different reason than Sun-worship, we have some resemblance to those of you who devote the day of Saturn to ease and luxury, though they too go far away from Jewish ways, of which indeed they are ignorant.”
      St. Cyprian (200-258)
“For because the eighth day, that is, the first day after the Sabbath, was to be that on which the Lord should rise again, and should quicken us, and give us circumcision of the spirit, the eighth day, that is, the first day after the Sabbath, and the Lord’s day, went before in the figure; which figure ceased when by and by the truth came, and spiritual circumcision was given to us.”
In Acts 20:7 the early church gathered together to break bread “on the first day of the week”. This custom of honoring the Lord’s Day (Sunday) by celebrating the Eucharist was passed down from the apostles to the bishops who were ordained by them and succeed them in continuing the work of the Great Commission.
What did St. Paul tell Timothy?
2 Tim. 2:2 “And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also.”
      2 Thessalonians 2:15
“Therefore, brethren, stand fast, and hold the traditions which ye have been taught, whether by word, or our epistle.”
Apostolic Tradition did not die with the Apostles nor is it restricted to only what was written in the Epistles of St. Paul.

I received Christ as my savior in 2013 -before that, I thought I was a Christian. Christ showed me His grace after years of rebellion, and I saw myself as the sinner I was. He sat me down for months to study His word. I saw Jesus from Genesis to Revelation. I literally felt the words of the Bible palpitate like a heart. Long story short, I don't work on the Sabbath. For every part-time I got hired for since 2021 i said I don't work on Saturdays. I go to church on Sundays. Thru my Bible reading in research, I found a Messianic Jewish congregation, and I still keep in touch with them. I celebrate some of the Jewish holidays with them when I can. I never push the issue with other Christians nor do I think I am better than them for keeping the Sabbath and most wouldn't know i keep it. At this point in my walk, I am not a Baptist, Pentecostal, or any denomination. I have been listening to Pastor Dough for years on and off and a few other preachers as well. This man that was saying the Sabbat is a devil doctrine is very wrong and blasphemed God cause then what would this man call the 10 commandments?? since it talks about the Sabbath.
Just because this man holds a microphone and is on a pulpit doesn't make him a Christian or a pastor. I pray this man comes to Christ and repents. So many false pastors and churches now a day with many names. Today more than ever is the responsibility of Christians to pick their BIble read it , and study it every day cause the time of the end of days is here.

      *** 1

I don’t even engage in argument with any1 once I can tell they are not interested in what is true. it’s a very sad experience.. it’s almost mind boggling… sometimes I wonder if I wasn’t brought up SDA would I receive it once it were presented to me? . .

Gal3:10"For all who rely on the works of the law are under a curse, as it is written: “Cursed is everyone who does not continue to do everything written in the Book of the Law.”
So what do you mean " we have the responsibility to honor all commandments equally"..? What commandments are you referring to ? If you are referring to the ten commandments you are mistaken because the Bible says you are cursed if you don't follow them to the letter..infact the Bible says this about the law..
      : "
Now we know that what things soever the law saith, it saith to them who are under the law: that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God." Romans 3:19
Keeping the law will always make us guilty before God..but has not Jesus died to remove guilt from us?

He who has a ear let him hear
      Luke 24:47
      King James Version
47 And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.
      Acts 22:16
      King James Version
16 And now why tarriest thou? arise, and be baptized, and wash away thy sins, calling on the name of the Lord.
      Acts 2:38-39
      King James Version
38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
39 For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.
      Mark 16:15-16
      King James Version
15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.
16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.
      1 Peter 3:21
      King James Version
21 The like figure whereunto even baptism doth also now save us (not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God,) by the resurrection of Jesus Christ:

      Dear Father in Heaven,
I present to you Crystal and her grandma. I don't know what is happening, what the situation is but I know that You are all knowing and I know You care. I ask that You intervene in their lives and bring about the change and grant the help that they need. Surround them with an atmosphere of light and peace. I ask that Your will be carried out because of Your promise in Jeremiah 29:11. Forgive us of our sins. This I ask in the mighty and wonderful name of Jesus. Amen.

And JESUS says. I did not come to change the law. I came to fulfil the law.
