I came across this piece by accident. I am 69 now and a lot of this vignette on history resonates with me. What a beautiful tribute to your father and family times. Who at my age has not lived this? Most of us have lost the pics/films etc. we should have kept of our past life. Thanks so much for being smart enough to publish yours.
