That was a great catch, she really knows her stuff. You guys are fishing in my back yard. Catfish are currently in the Clear Fork where it crosses 377 right now, had one break my medium heavy rod today trying to lift him up an embankment. Great content, subbed.

Barefoot in 50 degree (water temp probably even lower) to safety land/release the fish was an 5-star anglers' attitude. Thanks for your sharing!
Haha no way! Wow, yeah so looks like a Carp, no whiskers though. Been really wanting to try Carp fishing. Sadly all our poles are set up for Trout, Bass, Striper & Bluegill. Sighs... no not changing gear set up again! Thanks for sharing the video! Surely look forward to the next INTERESTING fish you two pull up!
Lol thank you for watching! Hahaha understandable. We’re at the point where we have poles already setup for every kind of fishing we do so it’s just grab bait and go now
@@CHOBBYFUN Oh no no no... THANK YOU for producing them. We're getting the enjoyment! Any hoot... I hear you there me and Lea just started getting to that point last year. But we're only set up for Bluegill, Striper, Trout & Bass. Good news is we have TONS of such fishing here. San Francisco Bay is roughly 1 1/2 hours drive. But we only have 1 Ocean pole I think. Dang it Carl, still can't get the Gar's out of my mind. Really hope we have them in Cali. *finally takes breath*
YOO! I've been sitting at work wondering if y'all had a video today. It didn't pop up for me, so I was like screw it I'm just going to y'alls channel. YES! TH-cam better get it together
Carl you could always just dive in while holding the fish. With its size and power surely you could hang onto the tail for a bit. Just look it as a brief jet ski ride backside of a Carp! Oh, might as well bring an extra pole to at that speed I'm sure you can troll for some more fish while you're at it. Ok... recon I've gone to far. But... NICE FISH! She's one up on you atm! Don't know though you did just catch that Gar!
Lol the carp in the UK are the ones that get to the size where they could probably pull a whole person no joke. The current score on fish nearing 30lbs and over is Carl 2 / Charlotte 1 for 2020
@@CHOBBYFUN Understood. Note to self, fishing in UK = Poles + Bait + Crain. Also if I may there are 2 fishing channels I really adore. One of them make STUNNING videos, nice fishing kind of like story telling at the same time. th-cam.com/channels/DH-BQ_G44oIt7f8RdQXNPg.html
@@CHOBBYFUN The other channel, the guy only fishes for Bass & Striper. But if you ask me, think he's professional grade. His videos are often quick and to the point. @@CHOBBYFUN Yeah no good meeting them and fishing with them. We'd probably need to bow or something. Anyways their excitement, good filming and adventures make for some sweet viewing. @@CHOBBYFUN running trot lines in the summer ,cut buffalo stays on the hook until something eats it, works so well getting it off after a week of no luck not only stank but next to impossible to get off , works best in a current , the oil brings them in from down stream . but hey all about fun and you two seem to be having it

Thanks for watching! We can’t share the exact spot since we were asked not to BUT we can say that fishing the Trinity in the Fort Worth area seems to be a goldmine for big fish
