Jamie_Jewel I watched the behind the scenes for that scene and 17 year old Julia wasn’t even scripted to get emotional, she did it on her own and it was recorded in just one take
When Mr. Darcy tells Elizabeth in that scene that he loves her, and while he's saying it he actually loses his breath. That gives me chills every single time!
"Me I'm scared of everything, I'm scared of who I am, of what I saw... and most of all I'm scared of walking out of this room and never feeling the rest of my whole life, the way i feel when I'm with you"
One romantic line that always gets me it's from the movie Leap Year: "May you never steal, lie, or cheat, but if you must steal, then steal away my sorrows, and if you must lie, lie with me all the nights of my life, and if you must cheat, then please cheat death because I couldn't live a day without you..." and I'm plannin' saying them at my wedding
"I hate it when you're not around and the fact that you didn't call But mostly I hate the way that I don't hate you Not even close, not even a little bit, not even at all" 😭
The ending to Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind where they acknowledge that they will fall in love only to fight/hate each other, and erase each other and then start all over again gets me every time.
“That thing...that moment when you kiss someone and everything around you becomes hazy. And the only thing in focus is you and this person. And you realize that that person is the only person you’re supposed to kiss for the rest of your life. And for one moment you get this amazing gift. And you want to laugh and you want to cry because you feel so lucky that you found it and so scared that it will go away all at the same time.” -Never Been Kissed
I feel like Claire reading Sophie's letter during her wedding from "Letters To Juliet" should've been on this list. I'm a grown man and I'm not afraid to admit that scene always makes me cry
Pride and prejudice definitely deserved to be No.1 . I really didn’t think it would even make it to the least, was so glad to see it was actually first. Finally some recognition that beautiful film needs💓
Joaquin Phoenix's speech on the porch in The Village... the one that ended with "And yes.... I will dance with you on our wedding night." That speech gives me chills every time.
“I have nothing left, nothing to give you, I have no pride, no dignity, no money, I don't even know how we'll make a living, but I promise I'll love you the rest of your life.” - Wyatt Earp, Tombstone
If only! And 99% of the people watching this video have likely seen every one of these films, they're all blockbusters. Better would be more of the scene in question, less background.
My best friend's wedding is my favourite romantic comedy to date. Julia's character was an actual trainwreck of a person and her desperation to cling on to Michael was actually realistic as was most of the premise. Especially the fact that he still chose Kim is the most realistic of all
And I also have to say there is just something so emotionally satisfying when Myles and Iris met up at the awards show and he tells her he would come to London to see her on New Year's and they share a little kiss. I love the moment right after when they both turn away and you see both of them have their own little celebration of the moment, as if they each just won their own little lottery. And "all the warm fuzzy stuff that makes them feel alive inside again" comes back. Love that moment. Dont really enjoy Jack Black all the time as a goofball obnoxious character, but he is quite the believable dramatic actor. Both in this film and in Shallow Hal.
"You are everything I never knew I always wanted" - Fools Rush In "I guarantee there'll be tough times. I guarantee that at some point, one or both of us is going to want get out. But I also guarantee... that if I don't ask you to be mine, I'll regret it for the rest of my life. Because I know in my heart... you're the only one for me." - Runaway Bride " I would rather have had one breath of her hair, one kiss of her mouth, one touch of her hand, than eternity without it. One." - City of Angels
My fav...you will never be alone again...wherever you go I go with you ... you ride I ride with you...you fight I fight..and if you ever die on me I die with you...Letti's Speech to Dom in Fast and Furious
Suzie Quzie5873 Sounds biblical. Ruth to Naomi: “"Don't urge me to leave you or to turn back from you. Where you go I will go, and where you stay I will stay. Your people will be my people and your God my God. Where you die I will die, and there I will be buried.” (Ruth 1:16-17, NIV)
Kate poem reading always makes my heart melts. Notting Hills is another good movie, same goes with Casablanca, and When Harry Met Sally… and Silver Linings Playbook. But Pride and Prejudice speech will always tug my heartstrings
10 Things... Hate speech should have been number 1 and if Gone with the Wind couldn’t be on this list it should at the very least be an Honorable Mention
I love romantic movies but for some reason I don't like that movie. I don't know why. Maybe because it's sad or something. For sad movies I like Tuck Everlasting.
I can definitely relate to that feeling of not knowing how to "quit" a partner but wishing I could, and I'd be willing to bet many others have been there too
You got that plot point of Jerry McGuire wrong. He only starts to date Renee Zellwegger after he and his fiance break up. He doesn't leave his fiance for her. Also, in Bridget Jones's Diary Mark isn't in a committed relationship. He's not dating Natasha. She's only his law partner.
Laura Perez And... Mr. Darcy and Elizabeth don’t “happen” to run into each other, Mr. Darcy goes out to her house to find her. I feel like whoever put this video together didn’t really watch the movies.
For me 💕💕💕 : 1) "I Am in Love with You" (The Fault in Our Stars) 2) "You Bewitch Me" (Pride & Prejudice) 3) "I Want You" (The Notebook) 4) "Choose Me" (My Best Friend's Wedding) 5) "I Wish I Knew How to Quit You" (Brokeback Mountain) 6) The "I Hate" Speech (10 Things I Hate About You)
Hawkeye: “No! You stay alive! If they don't kill you, they'll take you north up to the Huron lands. Submit, do you hear? You're strong! You survive! You stay alive, no matter what occurs! I will find you! No matter how long it takes, no matter how far. I will find you!”
Moral fiber's about finding that one thing you really care about. That one special thing that means more to you than anything else in the world. And when you find her, you fight for her. You risk it all, you put her in front of everything, your future, your life, all of it. And maybe the stuff you do to help her isn't so clean. You know what? It doesn't matter. Because in your heart you know, that the juice is worth the squeeze. That's what moral fiber's all about. - The Girl Nextdoor This speech should be on the list cause it's a literal speech.😁
one of my favorite scenes from ghost starring patrick swayze and demi moore Sam: "It's amazing molly the love inside you take it with you. I love you molly I have always loved you." Molly just crying as he leaves to heaven.
"You know how you said before, how your parents used you to get back at each other...wouldn't I be outstanding in that capacity?" -John Bender; The Breakfast Club
Olivier in Wuthering Heights "...Take any form, drive me mad, only do not leave me in this dark alone where I can not find you. I cannot live without my life. I cannot die without my soul."
Before watching: 'You Bewitched Me' from Mr. Darcy better be #1 After watching: Thank you for putting the ABSOLUTE BEST ' I love you speech' ever created as #1
romantic love ,..true love wants the best for the other,..true love is patient, with the faults of others, kind when undeserved, constantly looking at the best in the beloved. it is gentlemanly and womanly
I feel as tho you have failed. For me the most romantic line ever comes from Phenomenon when John Travolta asks Kyra Sedgwick: "Will you love me the rest of my life?" and she replies 'no, I'm going to love you the rest of mine'
He's Just Not That Into You speech at the end, Ginnifer Goodwin and Justin Long were amazing!!!! Thank you for putting in The Fault in Our Stars, but when Hazel gives her ...love confession... in the church it is far more raw for me but still... Also, I wish there had been Walk to Remember. There are a lot of GREAT speeches in that film.
Dirty Dancing: "Me? I'm scared of everything. I'm scared of what I saw, of what I did, of who I am. But most of all I'm scared of walking out of this room and never feeling the rest of my whole life, the way I feel when I'm with you. " So disappointed that didn't make even an honorable mention.

I love the speech Kili said to Tauriel in The Hobbit The desolation of Smaug "You cannot be her. She is far away. She... she is far, far away from me. She walks in starlight in another world. It was just a dream. Do you think she could have loved me?"
The speech that gets me every damn time is the walk to remember one it’s the speech where she tells him she’s sick and he’s like oh we’ll get you home then and she’s like you don’t get it I’m sick and he’s like no you can’t be you’re 18 you’re beautiful you’re perfect then he drives to his dads house in tears asking him to help her😩😢😢😢😢 and the other speech when she comes to him and he asks are you scared and she says she’s scared of not being with him😪😪😪😪💔
You forgot the last part when landon went to the place where they first kiss.. "our love is like a wind, you can't see it, but you can feel it" something like that hahaha man i need to rewatch it.
I liked Grumpier old men.. What Max told Maria.. Max: I don't know what happened to those other Men.. but let me tell you little about me... I know I'm not great prize.. but I'm Royal and honest and I know how to treat a lady"..
The Sense and Sensibility scene is the best in romcom history. Mostly because of the huge performance by Emma Thompson. The entire movie sets up that scene and it delivers like a brick hitting you between the eyes. You forgot the "The problems of three little people" speech from Casablanca. That was an amazing romantic speech. Even more so because it was about giving up the girl he loved to make her happy in the end. (Casablanca is the greatest movie ever made, so it's not surprising that it has several monologues that are memorable.)
The Fault In Our Stars scene where Hazel reads the letter Augustus wrote for her before he died should’ve been on here. The I love you one is good too but the letter one makes me cry every time and I know all of it
All great speeches, and for #1 I would've picked the same one but to me, none could top the letter Wentworth wrote to Miss Elliot in, of course, also Jane Austen's Persuasion (2007) 'Miss Elliot, I can bear this no longer. You pierced my soul. I'm half agony, half hope. Unjust I may have been, weak and resentful I have been, but never inconstant. I offer myself to you again with a heart even more your own than when you almost broke it eight years ago. I have loved none but you. You alone, brought me to Bath, for you alone, I think and plan. Have you not seen this? I can hardly write. I must go, uncertain of my fate. A word, a look, would be enough. Only tell me that I am ... Tell me not that I admit too late, that such precious feelings are gone forever.'
Finally! Watch/MsMojo mentioning Clueless in a POSITIVE light! That's my favorite movie and it drove me crazy it being listed for being "gross" or "weird".
Oh my God, good call!!!!! That is the MOST amazing speech. I know its it's supposed to be a mystery or whatever, but I have always said that The Village is the most underappreciated & underrated love story of our time!!! If u go in thinking it's a love story, not a scary movie, it's an AMAZING movie!!!! One of my favorites actually!!
Pride and Prejudice is my fave also - your list is smashing. So glad included Casablanca Here are some romantic films honorable mention: Return to me; Anna & King; Last Samurai; Somersby; Enchanted dance scene; Its a Wonderful Life kiss scene; The Family Man; An Affair to Remember ending; Mr. Nobody; Sabrina newer version; 13 going on 30 ending; First Knight (I owe you a kiss); You've Got Mail ending; Twilight saga; Avatar (I see you) ; A Star is Born; Greatest Showman (rewrite the stars scene);

Oh boi! It's a real tearjerker.
Jamie_Jewel I watched the behind the scenes for that scene and 17 year old Julia wasn’t even scripted to get emotional, she did it on her own and it was recorded in just one take
when it popped up as #4, i was like no way but then saw #1-#3 i understand why it couldn't go above those three.
pride and prejudice turns you into a hopeless romantic easily
Not this version...
@@flumpyflump2 every version ;)
@@flumpyflump2 I know right!. For me Colin Firth as mr Darcy is THE pride and prejudice
SHe nailed it though with saying ANY Jane Austen dialogue belongs here.... ‘nuff said.
Hello Eranie how are you doing today?
When Mr. Darcy tells Elizabeth in that scene that he loves her, and while he's saying it he actually loses his breath. That gives me chills every single time!
I love the speech in the rain when he 1st tells her he loves her as well
Me too!
I lose my breath every time I watch both speeches. He is just irresistable.
Hello Tiffany how are you doing today?
Her response is classic. He tells her he loves her and she replies, "Your hands are cold?" 😂
"Me I'm scared of everything, I'm scared of who I am, of what I saw... and most of all I'm scared of walking out of this room and never feeling the rest of my whole life, the way i feel when I'm with you"

I must confess I absolutely read that in the exact voice of Jenn.....er, I mean Baby.

Ms Mojo did you just talk in the middle of Julia Stiles iconic speech to Heath Ledger?....the disrespect
Rosie’s speech at Alex’s wedding in Love, Rosie should’ve been on here

Hello Juliana how are you doing today?
Aww, talk about swoon worthy! 😍
I see this comment is a year old. Did you ever get married and say this speeech?
Jane Austen must be smiling somewhere knowing her literary works leave a lasting impressions in our hearts
"I hate it when you're not around

Yeah should’ve been number 1.
pride and prejudice is pure gold 🥰💕
Hello Xo how are you doing today?
Kat's speech in 10 Things is so touching. Julia Stiles did a beautiful job
When Harry met Sally should have been on the list .. I cried just watching the clip!
The ending to Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind where they acknowledge that they will fall in love only to fight/hate each other, and erase each other and then start all over again gets me every time.
I love the last memory scene. "This is it Joel, it's all going to be gone soon. What do we do?" "Enjoy it."
Hello Miss how are you doing today?
My favorite wld have 2 be from Forrest Gump
" I'm not a smart man, but I know what 💘 is."

I thought of that one also - she told him I wish had been with you and he said you were oh my heart melted
The best one for me is the number one, always, how Mr. Darcy delivers the speech to Elizabeth Bennet. It is so moving and heartful, killed it.
Hello Diane how are you doing today?
"Love is like the wind, you can'tsee it but you can feel it" from a walk to remember should have been part
Hello how are you doing today?

Agree عبد الرحمن البريقي
I couldn't agree more....it makes me cry every time I see it! I love that movie so much! And it's still hilarious after 30 years. :)
100% agree! Scene where Meg shows women still think they can hide when they orgasm for real is brilliant too 😎
Glad that it didn't. Billy Crystal couldn't deliver a line in a non-glib tone if a gun was held to his head.
Colin Firth and Hugh Grant deliver a great romantic speech.
Michaela Wiseman I think that’s the main reason I love Bridget Jones’ so much

Hello Julia how are you doing today?
Am I the only one that thinks the declaration of love on the airplane in "The Wedding Singer" should be on the list, if they another one of these?
My best friend's wedding is my favourite romantic comedy to date. Julia's character was an actual trainwreck of a person and her desperation to cling on to Michael was actually realistic as was most of the premise. Especially the fact that he still chose Kim is the most realistic of all
You nailed it! Pride and Prejudice is the best romantic scene ever!!! Love that movie!!!
I also love the speech that Jude Law's character Graham gives to Cameron Diaz's character Amanda in the Holiday when he tells her he loves her
And I also have to say there is just something so emotionally satisfying when Myles and Iris met up at the awards show and he tells her he would come to London to see her on New Year's and they share a little kiss.
And its not even in the honorable mention, they don't have souls 😤
Am I the only one who has been dyeing for Netflix to put on 10 Things I Hate About You or Save the Last Dance???
Common Netflix!
"I Am Groot!" -Groot 😂
For me, the ending to Never Been Kissed is my favorite romantic confession.
Hello Patricia how are you doing today?
Number 1: Colin Firth reading a grocery list.
Hello Felicia how are you doing today?
This was an incredible speech, and he gave it in a foreign language. Aurelia is so beautiful. How is it only number 10?
The Fault In Our Stars scene where Hazel reads the letter Augustus wrote for her before he died should’ve been on here. The I love you one is good too but the letter one makes me cry every time and I know all of it
All great speeches, and for #1 I would've picked the same one but to me, none could top the letter Wentworth wrote to Miss Elliot in, of course, also Jane Austen's Persuasion (2007)
'Miss Elliot,
I can bear this no longer. Tell me not that I admit too late, that such precious feelings are gone forever.'
you had me at HELLO !!!!!
*Number 1:* _I LOVE YOUR ACCENT, SAY IT AGAIN..._ (Dexter's Laboratory)

I FRICKIN LOVEEE THE FAULT IN OUR STARS SPEECH WHEN AUGUSTUS CONFESSES HIS LOVE FOR HAZEL AT THE DINNER
Finally! Watch/MsMojo mentioning Clueless in a POSITIVE light! That's my favorite movie and it drove me crazy it being listed for being "gross" or "weird".
I know that pride and prejudice speech by heart love love love it!❤️❤️❤️❤️ great #1
Hello how are you doing today?
10 things always gets me
"When Harry met Sally" was my fave.
But no one mentioned Joaquin Phoenix in " The Village."
Pride and Prejudice is my fave also - your list is smashing. So glad included Casablanca
