WOW. This is not even an Aria I liked very much, until I heard Carreras sing it that is, now I can't get enough of it and he is so young and handsome here, (as apposed to older and still handsome that is) :-)
A wonderful age of the carrier of the young Carreras. A great singing and interpretation of him, without the forcing of the voice what he started to develop later unfortunately. He was amazing in this ages with a beautiful expressive voice. Thanks for sharing this hilarious video!
He had a wonderful pure lyrical voice. This was a too heavy Repertoire for him. Of course, he is Carreras at his top, but this Repertoire was not helping and not let express the beauty of his voice
Carreras ha molto spesso commesso errori: ruoli fuori portata, troppo pesanti; spingeva con la voce invece di sostenerla; si faceva prendere dal panico e chiudeva tutto. Ma pagherei oro perché i tenori di oggi sbagliassero come lui E purtroppo parlo da ragazza di 25 anni
RossyT80, Carreras in teatro, dal vivo, comunque cantasse, aveva una voce paradisiaca e una comunicazione straordinaria, tale e quale a Di Stefano. Sono ricordi, sensazioni idelebili, te lo ricordi a vita ed e' purtroppo normale fare paragoni

palymusic, ma dopo non c'e' stato di meglio. Sono finiti i tenori...ed e' il 2019.
