i have seen the price tag of parts AND HOLY FUCK DOES IT COST YOU TONS OF LIMBS! its balinced in both crafting AND if memory serves its quite costly in the terminal
I very much enjoyed this 22 minute video of "look how cool this is!" Seeing a series and/or more one-off videos with this mod or others would be great, if there's time and material. Or just more catching up with TerraTech's new vanilla stuff. That's been a nice sight, too.
Would love to see more terratech mods! They look really well made and from the looks of things adds some really awesome features to the game to spice things up!
We must remeber that within the lore of terratech, the techs we build are monolithic beasts. one example is the fact that the gso cab you get at the very start is designed to be a home for the person piloting it, or that the SCU's are literally "small" controlled black holes.
Yeah, that needs a campain cause its so detailed and id love to see speghetti pipes and that camera postion 'cab' for a sence of scale in everything. Love yea Lathrix, got my mate watching you too ❤

I've been waiting for someone to do modded TerraTech for so long! I've been playing with mods for a long while, and I hope you cover more of them over time ^^ You should especially look into the various skin packs that are available - I use the TT CD mod, which adds in cross-corp texture blending, and then I color-coordinate the colors to each corp (the skins are mostly flat black with highlights in a single color, and I put appropriate colors for each corp; GSO=White, Geo=Yellow, Ven=Pink, HE=Red, BF=Blue, and RR=Green. It makes techs look so much better when cross-corporation designs are used.
I've used the unofficial version of this mod for 4 years now, it's truly amazing, and I'm glad that my favorite terratech playing TH-camr is using the mod. (If I'm correct, I was the first to make a tech with the mod)
There are 3 mods you may like. Lemon Kingdom, Old Stars, and Tac Pack. All 3 are corporations similar to Greentech. One is based off Lemons, one is based off the Old West, and the last is if Hawkeye combined with Better Future. Edit: Just looked at the steam version of Tac pack and it doesn't have as many blocks as the OG mod. Also, forgot to mention this, but your videos are amazing. I especially love your FTD and TerraTech videos.
I just said it doesn't have to be there from the start of the world, you do the repeatable missions and get the blocks in any existing playthrough. That's exactly what they asked.

YES! I only got back into terratech again from your return, and stumbled into this mod just the other day and wanted to suggest it. Seems you beat my to the punch on that. Also i dont know if its a known issue, but avoid the mini tesla coils for the time being...i placed one to test it out, got a crash report, the option to risk corruption to continue, and then the game went back to normal, minus the tesla coil not doing anything. It makes a nice decoration and jumpscare at least...

More Greentech please! Rafs made a awesome mod. The best part of GT is their radars, with a much larger range than normal radars. Other suggestions for offical mods is Lemon Kingdom (LK), Rabis, Payload corp, Black Labs (BL) and Darvenstein (NOVA and Black wing). Unoffical mod suggestions are TAC and Old Star, with LK, BL, and Rabis also having unoffical version of their mods. LK and Rabis unoffical mods are different from their offical variants being they have more freedom in projectile types. LK has some massive weapons, and I would suggest you check them out next after GT. Theres a lot of mods for Terratech, if you choose to keep this series.
A year later I'm still amazed by this mod. Sadly, I couldn't get it to work completely. Mod dependency issues and possibly a Linux compatibility issue left some things broken. But what I could try out was insanely cool. This mod is one of the coolest mods I've ever played with in decades of PC gaming.
I think the mod weapons focuses on keeping most parts alive because once a part falls off the projectile switches target... This would be really great for a scavenger builds and earn a LOT of credits real quick by selling parts rather than destroying nature.. That's why it's a green tech... Also... Gigantic mobile harvester/refinery land carrier thingy!!!
I'd love to see a modded playthrough as I haven't touched mods for this game and it would be nice too see what's out there. Something I haven't seen already.
You should not even worry about the length of the videos you should just make like an hour long if you're gonna be compressing it down so much much we love it.
I think the reliability of the weapons are way WAY overpowered. You already tend to design techs that just steamroll all your opponents, so this just makes it over the top. Honestly, after watching all of your TerraTech playthroughs, as seeing you just steamroll your way through every fight, I'd like to see the difficulty cranked way up, and or some real restrictions on your designs, like limiting your designs by number of shields, batteries and repair bubbles, or block limits on some. The new challenge will create some new interesting designs, I'm sure of it. Either way, I'm glad to see new videos from you regularly.
Only thing I would wish for, would be having all the stilt types acting as springs. Just imagine the hover stilts also acting as springs, so the hovering would be close to the ground at all time, but the legs kind of "move".

I would absolutely love if you continue with the truck idea, and just make an absolute HUGE mobile factory on those thrasher wheels like you had in the past with Geo-corp. With windmills and everything, maybe. Just rolling over the terrain.. But hey, it's environmentally friendly! ...As long as there's no environment directly infront of you

So he can play around with them but not use them as a crutch.

Do the sun projectors enable solar panels to work at night? I can imagine that's probably what they're for...
they don't, it's just the best light source at night

I am instantly starting a new game with this mod. I didn't know there were even mods in the workshop thought it was just techs.
you can also get skins for the techs aswell as quality of life mods like better AI

I like that the mini Tesla coils save some power by simply going straight into your frame rate. How green of them.
