There was a period in the mid-late 90's when me and my Viet buddies bumped Jinusean and DJ Doc. We didn't understand half the song, but good music is good music.
I think I feel Came Back Home by Seo Taiji and Boys in it. Maybe because YG was part of that legend group. I miss high quality songs that I used to listen in 80's and 90's as I grown up in that era. I just got in to KPop recently, but after heard the new and old ones, I more in to the old ones like this. The quality is just different. Like the music in the world generally, the old ones are better in quality.
I miss these good old YG days. I love everyone we have right now but I wish once in a while YG can go back to its roots and maybe from time to time make music like this.

7년전 댓글이지만 혹여나 이 영상을 보시는 다른분들께 남기는 드리는 글로, 앨범 전체는 양현석, 이현도 공동 프로듀서이고 가솔린 작사, 작곡, 편곡은 양현석이 맞습니다. 당연하게도 듀스곡 앨범도 가지고 있을정도로 듀스곡도 많이 들어보았지만, 유사한 힙합 계열이지만 서태지의 힙합 느낌과는 색이 많이 다른듯합니다. 본 영상의 앨범은 96년 활동종료한 서태지와 아이들의 마지막 앨범 4집 컴백홈 이후 약 1년 후에 제작된 앨범이고 댄서출신인 양현석이 그 이전까지 곡 작업에 대한 활동이 사실상 없었기 때문에 당시 96년 은퇴 마지막에 발매한 앨범 컴백홈 이후 지누션을 데뷔시켰을 때 서태지의 음악적 역량을 부러워해서 이후에 컴백홈을 '따라했다는게' 당시 사람들 인식에 지배적이었습니다. 물론 이와 관련된 기사도 꽤 나왔었고요.(기사 검색 해보시면 이해 하실겁니다.) 양현석이 서태지의 음악적 역량에 대한 찬사도 물론 있었지만 본인이 좋아하는 장르인 힙합곡에 대한 동경도 있었던 것에 이런 내용도 있습니다. 서태지와 아이들 활동당시에 양현석이 서태지의 락기반 음악에 대한 반감이 약간 있었고 이를 모르지 않던 서태지가 완전히 무시하기는 어려웠던지라(이주노와는 다르게 양현석과는 개인적인 친분도 있었음) 1집이 초초초대박 이후에 양현석의 나름 의견을 반영하여 락과 힙합을 적절히 섞었던 곡이 '하여가'였던것 같고 2집 앨범 오리지널 스튜디오 버전인 락 힙합 베이스인 하여가로 활동하다 이후에 양현석이 좋아 할만한 네이티브 드럼을 제외하고 앨범으로 발표하지 않았지만 하여가를 컴퓨터 샘플링으로 리믹스하여 방송과 콘서트 라이브에서 무대를 보여주기도 했습니다. That Came Back Home song really has great impact once you listen for it, you can feel it when you listen for another songs that taken the sound of it. Like this song and H.O.T song Warrior Descendant. Or maybe thats just me and my ears lol

1997년 jpop 노래 듣다가 왔는데 1997년 jpop훌륭하다고 생각은 했으나 이정도 퀄리티 뿜어내는 97jpop은 없었다
난 왠지 이거도 태지가 만들었을거 같지. 후렴구의 전환이 태지 느낌같단말야. 태지가 4집 시절에 만들었던 힙합곡들 중에서 하나 양현석이 받은거 같음. 그러니 이 이후로 작곡이 없지
