One very important thing for stage drama culture is that there was time all comedians were doing meaningful dirty jokes but sohail Ahmed used to try his best to avoid that. There is also rumours that he left stage because of this reason when joined hasbehal. When he said “kabhi gandi jugat nhi ki” that was reference to that.(my husband used to watch these show and has enough knowledge about it 😂) Also they had a thing that everyone will do jugat about sohail ahmed big face which was referred multiple times😂
Hassan, are you referring to male characters needing to be more assertive? Standing up for someone non violently and protecting those you are responsible for is a very primitive yet lost characteristic in men today. People demand their rights before earning those rights. I find that this stems from parents treating children like their property rather than showering children with mercy and respect.

Durre Fishan is a substandard actor. And this drama exposed her lacking skill. Khai is built on the wonderful acting of sporting cast. But you guys carry on, please making excuses for her.
The reason why she didn't react strongly was because she can't ACT strongly. Simple as that. By calling it subtle and sad are just words used to cloak her lack of good acting.
Im not sure if this is a controversial opinion or not but I dont like Farooq Rind as a director at all. The close shots and insane bright lighting is weird and overall there is no cohesion in his dramas with random filler scenes. He needs to work on his skill a lot more. And Im sorry Hassan and Aamna but Dure's performance is below sub par. There's no way you can defend it.

Mirza got the pain he needed to become a poet. Raju got the validation he needed. Zara’s pain and depression after kabir disappears is palpable!! As a viewer you feel her depression cut through your own heart, how it feels crippling and makes it hard to get out of bed. It was so well written, executed , and acted by Zara. Amazing. And loved the interaction between Zara and mirza

No one: Hassan: "acting kaisi lagi aap ko Bilal aur durre ki. I think durre k expressions were soooo goooood." And when we comment about her lack of expressions. Hes like she gave SUBTLE expression. 😂 The fact is durre's dialogue delivery is always same. No matter what the situation is. And thats the thing missing in IM. Imagine any other good actress in this role. Durre and bilal have good chemistry and thats not because of durre's good performance . Any good actress could play this role a lot better than her.

Climax is not at the end of the show, it’s when there’s a build up leading towards something and then there’s a turn of events. Kabir has shades in his personality...when he is not discussing his family details with his lover why he will give details to his friends. Zara was fabulous in Eposide 31.

The problem with Ishq murshid is that they don't do long shots to make the audience understand where the scene is taking place. They only do medium to close shots. This makes for a very choppy drama and story telling.

We're still suffering from the time lapse between (1)when he's about to reveal himself on the beach in the suit, gets in that car, and (2) gets to the graveyard. What happened in that car?? What happened on the beach??? Its such a huge gaping hole that now nothing is hittimg the way it should. What an anticlimax, they messed up.

Stand up girl: Zara Noor gave much better and natural expressions showing her surprise and shock on finding out the reality of Kabir, compared to Durre in IM, although Shameer’s reality should have been far more graver. The mazaar revelation scene was also much more impactful. It’s funny and sad how people get fooled by the attire of a person, calling anyone murshid and holy. But then gaddi nashini is the most lucrative business. Hope Kabir is shown rebelling against this rotten culture.
I was shocked to see Kabir's mother bare head in front of thier servent.. Makhoom hain wo or unki to iddat ka b koi ata pata nhi I'm assuming abhi 2 ti 3 months huy kabir ko ghaeb huy or tbhi uske dad ka murder hua to unki wife ki iddat ya pardy ka koi scene nhi tha.
Ishq Murshid: Farooq Rind should not have directed it. His way of direction is boring and drags scenes with chopy editing. There were many things missing in that big reveal. It was too blah. Completely agree with Amna about the climax. Shibra knowing Shahmeer's reality is the peak/climax and everything else is post climax. It was such a flat reveal. Very disappointed. And yes why Shahmeer was in Shibra's home. WTH. And how did Shahmeer's father knew that he is at Shibra's house when talking to Noor Hassan's character. 😬
We can’t blame direction much but depends on main lead actors acting which was missing dure lack expressions and bad dialogue delivery this girl still needs improve otherwise the story of this drama is captivating than other dramas recently

I think for me this was a very good episode of Ishq Murshid. The subtle crying, love, romance, sadness and yearning was delivered so well. Plus the new soft sound track is really enhancing the moments 💖

Stand up …..Guys! Guys! You missed the big point re Vicky. Kabir’s major grouse with his parents was that they had contacted Vicky and passed on Kabir’s music to him. He then used it under his own name. Hence he knew his parents. Johri didn’t know, as was evident in the beginning episodes when he was perplexed by the fact that armed men had taken away Kabir.
IM : because still shibra’s mom didn’t know about Shahmeer..,thats y he came in Fazal avatar.. Suleman will be in office and Shahmeer has to talk to shibra so he had to come to her house . I loved how Shibra didn’t react in a typical way like other dramas.. the love between them is so deep ( that’s y they didn’t reveal the truth soon , they took time to build the connection)
I don't agree. It's not about being subtle or loud, it's about the impact of the most important scene for which the viewers were waiting, which It hadn't.

Agree with Amna Ishq Murshid a lots missing. Shibra never asked Shahmeer why he had to pretend to be Fazal. She was only concerned that Baba nahin manega but what about Shahmeer father? Class difference did not even have anything to do at this point in story. Shibra earrings kept changing in same day. Again just like Hasan where Shamir is meeting sister atwhose house? and then sister is at Shibra. In one day so much can happen in IM. Shahmir death means killing that character but keeping Fazal alive. Shahmeer is not even taking to his family about Shibra. Why is focus only on Shibra Dad. And both sisters kept talking with Dad him being Fazal not Shahmeer. Seriously 😮
Kabir is shown to be an escapist while he was running away from home he escaped his reality that one day he has to be the hier to the throne. Now while being there he is running away from his urban identity. He never told Johri also about his fam background, hence also broke all contacts with zara too. Vicky knows his fam as they were childhood friends.
Stantup girl: Vicky is Kabir's childhood friend. Isha is his college friend. Zara tells Vicky that she has seen Vicky and Kabir's school or childhood pictures together so if he knows anything about Kabir then he should tell her about that.
IM: 1) I thought Sukki and Shahmeer met at Shameer's farmhouse or something. That looked like the place, where her husband and mother-in-law were kidnapped. 2)And I agree with Amna with there was something missing in this episode. It was weird to see him back in the house. Also, her knowing the truth shouldve been the climax, at least from the story pov. But let's see if they're planning something else. 3) Her father can't entirely blame her mother for what happened. He was the one who continuously chanted the "maulai" thing. He brought him home. Yes, it was weird to see her mother smile when she used to see them but not entirely her fault. 4) I don't think Shibra's silence meant she likes him. On the contrary, I felt like she meant that it will be as her father wanted. Else Shahmeer's reaction would've been different. 5) Glad that the filler scenes are removed. But story should've progressed. Nonetheless, Im bit disappointed that it is not going the way it began.

Zara not reacting to the wedding was odd. I had the same thought about Kabir's dressing. It seemed a bit too much. Then I thought that's probably bcs his family want to establish him as a peer among the villagers. But it could've been little more subtle. And yes, Mirza's shayari was so good.

Coz kabir's parents knew vicky and biys usually knows backgrounds of their fellows whereas girls dont bother about backgrounds ... However zara's lack of visibilty in khala's pre wedding festivities was noteworthy and wasn't missed.but kabir usually cut him off while going there. Just like he went to bee jee death and switched his phone off.

At this point, SH and Hasan specially comes across as someone who has to cover up for Dure by mentioning her amazing expressions and on point acting in every review when the contrary is true. It's making you guys comes across as biased. You call yourself critic so it's something a critical POV that Dure is indeed a beautiful girl but she still has a LOT of flaws in her acting and she is very mediocre in emotional scenes. It's good to accept that certain actor isn't good in certain drama or scene. In confession scene, when the whole world was almost saying that Dure failed to emote, Hasan was like she was too dumbfounded and it was a perfect reaction. Nothing against Dure. She is someone who have immense screen presence and that's one of the reason, why she is seen among big stars with such skills which would send back many young actors to do soaps and supporting roles before doing main roles. This comment is not against you, SH and Dure, Hasan. I hope you won't block my account on stating facts.

Stand up girl: Vicky’s parents would have connections with Kabir’s parents as they would belong to same neighbourhood or were very close, hence, they were friends and Kabir’s father helped Vicky. This ks why Vicky might have got to know about Kabir from his parents. And regarding Zara’s reaction on Hina’a wedding, I agree. Even I was waiting to see her reaction because it was a big moment. Getting married to Raju was a big deal. But they didn’t show it at all..

Disappointing that there was no reaction . Loving someone doesn't mean she shouldn't confront. At least demand an explanation. Instead of making her sister the spokesperson, Shameer should have clarified everything himself . In fact, the dream sequence of Shameer reg Shibra's reaction was more convincing.
I feel Shahmeer came to meet Shibra and since her family doesn't know about him being Shahmeer. Shibra's reaction was justified and glad that it was not dramatic but they kept it subtle. And when Shahmeer asked her what she wants I feel she wants to say if her father won't agree then she will not go against her father. Sukaina earlier also met him at this place which is Shahmeer's where he kept Nargis and her son kidnapped. It was that house.

Vicky's clarifiaction has been given in another cpmment already that they used to work together and Kabir's dad asked him to steal Kabir's album and flop him. Secondly, Kabir's attire was perfectly suited to the situation. I have met and seen these families closely. At mazar, they HAVE TO dress like their forefathers as a traditional Gaddi Nasheen. At home or outside mazar, they can wear anything they like. it is their dress code.

IM: While I understand the scenes are choppy and the drama is being dragged to an extent, my perspective differs from that of many viewers who aren't enjoying it. Right from the start, after watching a couple of episodes, I made up my mind that it is a fun, romantic 'fantasy' where the guy is trying everything to win the girl's heart. Even if his actions sometimes seem to defy logic, that's just the tone of this drama. It is one of those projects that is more about the chemistry between the leads than the story itself. Life's already quite hectic, so I prefer shows that uplift my mood, and this one certainly does that for me. Sure, it's gotten serious lately, but I still love seeing Shahmeer and Shibra together on screen. If you ask me, the standout moments of this episode were the heartfelt exchanges between Shahmeer and Shibra, as well as Shahmeer's heartwarming interaction with Sukina, and the nostalgic flashback scenes shown in reverse. I had a good time watching this episode, so I'm not going to complain. To each their own! 😊

After watching IM I also felt that something was missing....I really wanted to see Shibra's reaction because initially she should have felt absolutely deceived and taken advantage of. This was a major issue. Fazal Baksh is a fraud and compulsive liar. He's cute and rich and very in love and obsessed with Shibra but....what about her self respect? After the shock I can imagine she will take him back but to accept it timidly doesn't match her character
Stand up Girl is one drama that we never want to end and don’t mind them dragging it lol That whole Peer twist was unexpected and exciting but a little choppy….. I hope we get some answers even in flashbacks. Felt so bad for Zara! She didn’t deserve that 😢
The last episode of Ishq Murshid was all about Shibra..and I was quite surprised and happy too for the way Shibra reacted..it only says how Shameer was wrong that he thought only he loves her, she loves him as much as he do..this episode just proved that. Dure's acting was just amazing ❤ there. But I really found something is missing in Shameer's reaction..it was not the way he should do, it was more like he was constantly thinking a new plan or way out rather than being that sad.

Let me break down this ‘something is amiss’ theory: It is not because of too many flashbacks, because we see that in other dramas; it is not because of shoddy editing/directing, because we see that in other dramas; it IS because Durre Fishan is not a good actor and lacks nuance in her facial expressions and her tonality and inflection is next to nothing. I’m assuming most people don’t understand what subtleness is. They assume her acting is subtle because she’s not being loud. In acting, subtlety requires a person to minimize the histrionics while conveying through their expressions and eyes and body language all the emotions that they’re experiencing. Maintaining a bland expression while saying monotonously ‘Goodbye ghareeb aadmi’ was pretty corny and cringey. And yes, this was the climax and it was a complete letdown.

The Shahmeer seen in the house with Shibra I took as a day dream sequence ; ie; in her head….the song was heart wrenching. The rewind scene of their first meeting was sad. Salman Saab blaming the mother is unfair after all he brought FB home. Shibra is a woman in love.

Standing up for someone non violently and protecting those you are responsible for is a very primitive yet lost characteristic in men today. People demand their rights before earning those rights. Durre Fishan is a substandard actor. And this drama exposed her lacking skill. Khai is built on the wonderful acting of sporting cast. But you guys carry on, please making excuses for her.

Im not sure if this is a controversial opinion or not but I dont like Farooq Rind as a director at all. The close shots and insane bright lighting is weird and overall there is no cohesion in his dramas with random filler scenes. He needs to work on his skill a lot more. And Im sorry Hassan and Aamna but Dure's performance is below sub par. There's no way you can defend it.

Mirza got the pain he needed to become a poet. Raju got the validation he needed. Zara’s pain and depression after kabir disappears is palpable!! As a viewer you feel her depression cut through your own heart, how it feels crippling and makes it hard to get out of bed. It was so well written, executed , and acted by Zara. Amazing. And loved the interaction between Zara and mirza

Climax is not at the end of the show, it’s when there’s a build up leading towards something and then there’s a turn of events. The whole time we were waiting for Shibra to find out the truth and when she did nothing happened.

Kabir has shades in his personality...when he is not discussing his family details with his lover why he will give details to his friends. Zara was fabulous in Eposide 31.

The problem with Ishq murshid is that they don't do long shots to make the audience understand where the scene is taking place. They only do medium to close shots. This makes for a very choppy drama and story telling.

We're still suffering from the time lapse between (1)when he's about to reveal himself on the beach in the suit, gets in that car, and (2) gets to the graveyard. What happened in that car?? What happened on the beach??? Its such a huge gaping hole that now nothing is hittimg the way it should. What an anticlimax, they messed up.

Ishq Murshid: You know what was missing @Aamna, the whole story line from the get go was depended the point when Shibra will find out about Shameer. So the big reveal totally lacked luster, there was anticipation and some buildup, but the way it was all executed was logical but hella boring!
Stand up girl: Zara Noor gave much better and natural expressions showing her surprise and shock on finding out the reality of Kabir, compared to Durre in IM, although Shameer’s reality should have been far more graver. The mazaar revelation scene was also much more impactful. It’s funny and sad how people get fooled by the attire of a person, calling anyone murshid and holy. But then gaddi nashini is the most lucrative business. Hope Kabir is shown rebelling against this rotten culture.

I was shocked to see Kabir's mother bare head in front of thier servent.. Makhoom hain wo or unki to iddat ka b koi ata pata nhi I'm assuming abhi 2 ti 3 months huy kabir ko ghaeb huy or tbhi uske dad ka murder hua to unki wife ki iddat ya pardy ka koi scene nhi tha.
Well said beautifully shown the broken system of gaddi nashini and hope they show something different and Kabir won’t just accept it as his destiny.
Ishq Murshid: Farooq Rind should not have directed it. His way of direction is boring and drags scenes with chopy editing. There were many things missing in that big reveal. It was too blah. Completely agree with Amna about the climax. Shibra knowing Shahmeer's reality is the peak/climax and everything else is post climax. It was such a flat reveal. Very disappointed. And yes why Shahmeer was in Shibra's home. WTH. And how did Shahmeer's father knew that he is at Shibra's house when talking to Noor Hassan's character. 😬

I think for me this was a very good episode of Ishq Murshid. The subtle crying, love, romance, sadness and yearning was delivered so well. Plus the new soft sound track is really enhancing the moments 💖

Stand up …..Guys! Guys! You missed the big point re Vicky. Kabir’s major grouse with his parents was that they had contacted Vicky and passed on Kabir’s music to him. He then used it under his own name. Hence he knew his parents. Johri didn’t know, as was evident in the beginning episodes when he was perplexed by the fact that armed men had taken away Kabir.

Agree with Amna Ishq Murshid a lots missing. Shibra never asked Shahmeer why he had to pretend to be Fazal. She was only concerned that Baba nahin manega but what about Shahmeer father? Class difference did not even have anything to do at this point in story. Shibra earrings kept changing in same day. Again just like Hasan where Shamir is meeting sister atwhose house? and then sister is at Shibra. In one day so much can happen in IM. Shahmir death means killing that character but keeping Fazal alive. Shahmeer is not even taking to his family about Shibra. Why is focus only on Shibra Dad. And both sisters kept talking with Dad him being Fazal not Shahmeer. Seriously 😮

Kabir is shown to be an escapist while he was running away from home he escaped his reality that one day he has to be the hier to the throne. Now while being there he is running away from his urban identity. He never told Johri also about his fam background, hence also broke all contacts with zara too. Vicky knows his fam as they were childhood friends.

1) I thought Sukki and Shahmeer met at Shameer's farmhouse or something. That looked like the place, where her husband and mother-in-law were kidnapped.
2)And I agree with Amna with there was something missing in this episode. It was weird to see him back in the house. Also, her knowing the truth shouldve been the climax, at least from the story pov. But let's see if they're planning something else.
3) Her father can't entirely blame her mother for what happened. He was the one who continuously chanted the "maulai" thing. He brought him home. Yes, it was weird to see her mother smile when she used to see them but not entirely her fault.
4) I don't think Shibra's silence meant she likes him. On the contrary, I felt like she meant that it will be as her father wanted. Else Shahmeer's reaction would've been different.
5) Glad that the filler scenes are removed. But story should've progressed.
Nonetheless, Im bit disappointed that it is not going the way it began.

How shameer was in her home again , for a moment i thought shibra is just imagining... Father came home and was just giving useless lecture for no good reason instead should have asked did shameer come here. Or why she didnt tell her about shameer.. Some powerful scene should have been here... . Dawood knew shameer is there made no sense.. Sukaina was sitting at shameers house and he says chalta hoon..
One very important thing for stage drama culture is that there was time all comedians were doing meaningful dirty jokes but sohail Ahmed used to try his best to avoid that. When he said “kabhi gandi jugat nhi ki” it had deeper meaning.
Shibra’s acting was bad or her reaction was . Is she shocked / forgiving?? What are her feelings and why is she not able to tell Shamir that I hate u for cheating me or else that I live u too much for this to matter.
Stand up Girl: Vicky knew his background because Kabir's father had reached out to him back once, when he shared Kabir's song with Vicky. Probably that's why he knew where he was. Zara not reacting to the wedding was odd. I had the same thought about Kabir's dressing. It seemed a bit too much. Then I thought that's probably bcs his family want to establish him as a peer among the villagers. But it could've been little more subtle. And yes, Mirza's shayari was so good.

Coz kabir's parents knew vicky and biys usually knows backgrounds of their fellows whereas girls dont bother about backgrounds ... However zara's lack of visibilty in khala's pre wedding festivities was noteworthy and wasn't missed.but kabir usually cut him off while going there. Just like he went to bee jee death and switched his phone off.
Abdullah pur ka Dev, is 18 episode film type high drama thing. I hate aggressive men, duur se thik lagta hi but such men in your life are suffocating and controlling, so don't assume that aggressive men are attractive to all

At this point, SH and Hasan specially comes across as someone who has to cover up for Dure by mentioning her amazing expressions and on point acting in every review when the contrary is true. It's making you guys comes across as biased. You call yourself critic so it's something a critical POV that Dure is indeed a beautiful girl but she still has a LOT of flaws in her acting and she is very mediocre in emotional scenes. It's good to accept that certain actor isn't good in certain drama or scene. In confession scene, when the whole world was almost saying that Dure failed to emote, Hasan was like she was too dumbfounded and it was a perfect reaction. Nothing against Dure. She is someone who have immense screen presence and that's one of the reason, why she is seen among big stars with such skills which would send back many young actors to do soaps and supporting roles before doing main roles. I feel Shahmeer came to meet Shibra and since her family doesn't know about him being Shahmeer.
Shibra's reaction was justified and glad that it was not dramatic but they kept it subtle.
And when Shahmeer asked her what she wants I feel she wants to say if her father won't agree then she will not go against her father.
Sukaina earlier also met him at this place which is Shahmeer's where he kept Nargis and her son kidnapped. It was that house.
#Standupgirl Isha was not Kabir's college friend. She was born n raised in Canada. She comes with her dad frequently so she knows his friend's circle. Vicky's clarifiaction has been given in another cpmment already that they used to work together and Kabir's dad asked him to steal Kabir's album and flop him. Secondly, Kabir's attire was perfectly suited to the situation. I have met and seen these families closely. At mazar, they HAVE TO dress like their forefathers as a traditional Gaddi Nasheen. At home or outside mazar, they can wear anything they like. it is their dress code.

IM: While I understand the scenes are choppy and the drama is being dragged to an extent, my perspective differs from that of many viewers who aren't enjoying it. Right from the start, after watching a couple of episodes, I made up my mind that it is a fun, romantic 'fantasy' where the guy is trying everything to win the girl's heart. Even if his actions sometimes seem to defy logic, that's just the tone of this drama. It is one of those projects that is more about the chemistry between the leads than the story itself.
Life's already quite hectic, so I prefer shows that uplift my mood, and this one certainly does that for me. Sure, it's gotten serious lately, but I still love seeing Shahmeer and Shibra together on screen. If you ask me, the standout moments of this episode were the heartfelt exchanges between Shahmeer and Shibra, as well as Shahmeer's heartwarming interaction with Sukina, and the nostalgic flashback scenes shown in reverse.
I had a good time watching this episode, so I'm not going to complain. To each their own! 😊

After watching IM I also felt that something was missing....I really wanted to see Shibra's reaction because initially she should have felt absolutely deceived and taken advantage of. This was a major issue. Fazal Baksh is a fraud and compulsive liar. He's cute and rich and very in love and obsessed with Shibra but....what about her self respect? After the shock I can imagine she will take him back but to accept it timidly doesn't match her character
Stand up Girl is one drama that we never want to end and don’t mind them dragging it lol
That whole Peer twist was unexpected and exciting but a little choppy….. I hope we get some answers even in flashbacks.

The last episode of Ishq Murshid was all about Shibra..and I was quite surprised and happy too for the way Shibra reacted..it only says how Shameer was wrong that he thought only he loves her, she loves him as much as he do..this episode just proved that. Dure's acting was just amazing ❤ there.
But I really found something is missing in Shameer's reaction..it was not the way he should do, it was more like he was constantly thinking a new plan or way out rather than being that sad.
Agree 💯 Shibra's reaction was natural and understandable and I liked it and the thing is all those people who are always bashing IM and especially Dure

Let me break down this ‘something is amiss’ theory: It is not because of too many flashbacks, because we see that in other dramas; it is not because of shoddy editing/directing, because we see that in other dramas; it IS because Durre Fishan is not a good actor and lacks nuance in her facial expressions and her tonality and inflection is next to nothing. I’m assuming most people don’t understand what subtleness is. They assume her acting is subtle because she’s not being loud. In acting, subtlety requires a person to minimize the histrionics while conveying through their expressions and eyes and body language all the emotions that they’re experiencing. Maintaining a bland expression while saying monotonously ‘Goodbye ghareeb aadmi’ was pretty corny and cringey.
And yes, this was the climax and it was a complete letdown.

OMG!!!! Ishq Murshid episode was perfect…….the subtly of the messages was breath taking. The Shahmeer seen in the house with Shibra I took as a day dream sequence ; ie; in her head….the song was heart wrenching. The rewind scene of their first meeting was sad. Salman Saab blaming the mother is unfair after all he brought FB home. Shibra is a woman in love.
But it wasn't a dream sequence because Shahmeer's father knew he had gone to Shibra"s place.
Although ishq murshid story has many flaws but still I believe dure and Bilal chemistry is just amazing ✨❤️
Standup girl: Kabir's Father gives money to Vikey to betray Kabir and stole his album. That was the reason why Kabir had not good relationship with his family and Vicky .
