      I bought it online and it is to insulate the incubator from loosing heat/humidity, as well as keeping outside temperatures out

    • @AIS.FarmResorts
      @AIS.FarmResorts  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      yes you can build without the humidity control. but that also means you won't be able to control your humidity, which will affect your hatch rate

    • @AIS.FarmResorts
      @AIS.FarmResorts  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@iddrisumoomin2957 It will be tricky. you may have to add a ventilator or drill some holes into your incubator. but you may have to play around it a lot to get the right mix of humidity settings

    • @AIS.FarmResorts

      @@iddrisumoomin2957 It would be difficult to control the humidity accurately if you don't have a humidity controller I'm afraid.

    Do fans only turn on when the heating element is on?

    • @AIS.FarmResorts
      @AIS.FarmResorts  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes you can calibrate your controller board to turn on with the heating element.
      The controller board settings will determine when the fans goes on or off. I did explain in the video.
      We made our settings so that the fans always turned with the heater, and when the heat is too high, some of the fans stop and others stay on to cool the heater down (circulate air), as well as continue to distribute the heat.

    hello sir, what materials do you use inside incubator for isolation? I need the name of that material please. I'm living in Cameroon, where can I get it please?

    • @AIS.FarmResorts
      @AIS.FarmResorts  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I used an insulation sheet from a local supplier in Ghana www.mykitghana.com/product/insulation-sheet/
      You can google "incubator insulation sheet" and find many different materials on offer. I hope this helps. Good luck

      That is the insulation foil to keep the heat inside, as well as prevent changes in temperatures and humidity from outside of the incubator influencing the temperature and humidity in the incubator

    Just wanted to know how you managed to control oxygen and carbon dioxide, like is there a formula guiding the hole sizes in relation to the number of eggs?

    • @AIS.FarmResorts
      @AIS.FarmResorts  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      You do not need to worry about oxygen or carbon dioxide in incubation. What you need to worry about is the Heat/Temperature and Humidity levels. For temperature, it needs to be 37.5 degrees for chicken eggs. Humidity has to be below 50% for the first 18 days of incubation and above 65% for the last 3 days before the hatch

      I didn't intend to make the incubator for sale, so the design specification is very customised to my needs on my farm.
