I don't know how or why but I didn't have many issues with the PC version. Actually ended up enjoying it. Full Game video 4K resolution Ultra Settings and no crashes (somehow)

The opening is quite tough, a dramatically tense gut wrencher, I wonder what parents who played this on PS4, when it first released must have thought. But it set the tone, so to speak for what follows between Joel and Ellie. The only other game that I can think of, with something of a similar beginning, was the QTE fest that was David Cage's "Heavy Rain" (now there IS a game that could do with a remake!!) and THAT was a very difficult opening scenario to open a game with.
Have a friend who is a father of two girls. He enjoyed the game really hard but I've never thought of asking him this perspective. I think it would be a bit too personal.

First, thank you for your amazing walkthrough which has helped me a few times. I am late to tlou pc port i know but... my experience has been flawless besides my own stuffups in game ;( . No crashes or glitches. I am on a kinda hybrid system, I9 9900k/rtx 4070Ti/NVME SSD.

I'm watching in 4k 60 but this is really feel wierd with this ported game optimization, I see you get more than 70+ FPS but in game play looks worst like 25-30 FPS.
Is it just me or you feel this too?
If you have an ultra high end PC then this game does seem to run within the bounds of acceptability
Taking the rig of a rich TH-camr with a 4090 and believing that experience with translate to those with average PC's is unrealistic

No? I have 3050, and yea, I play on low + textures on medium with FSR (after all, what else do you expect from 3050), but it looks great and runs at around 70 fps. I have 10 hours now and only one crash (which is fine, it happens from time to time). The only real issue I had is mouse. Its jittery as hell, but Im playing with controller anyways

@@mateuszgaecki5949 I have a low level pc and it works fine for me too. I3 10100 and GTX1660S. I think people have exaggerated this game. Of course it looks better with better gear, but its not bad with cheaper hardware.

Finally, this game came out on PC, finally got normal graphics, otherwise it looked bad on PS3.
Wow a game that allows you to keep the flashlight on while doing a stealth kill -- Metro Exidus would of gotten you killed doing it that way.

The Max size is actually 256gbs - Cant remember exactly but around 60-80mbs

The Last Of Us Part 1 it's a Remastered, not a Remake, dude they build the game from the ground up, they did not use the old engine graphics, they didn't even use the latest engine graphics the The Last Of Us Part 2 , instead they use unreal engine 4,. It is different from the Alan Wake remastered because Alan Wake Remastered they only merged the old engine and the new unreal engine but they still use the old asset from the original source.... The Last Of Us Part 1 from Graphics upgrade, they build the game from the ground up by using the new unreal engine 4 graphics, there's two kinds of Remastered and remake faithful remake/unfaithful remake.

No, this Is the PS5 2022 remake ported to PC
the original PS3 2013 version was then remastered in 2014 for the PS4

Well even if Ellie gets bit she won’t turn because of the cordyceps immunity, but the bite would still hurt like a motherf*cker.
i mean that did happen at the end of the second game, where ellie kills one rattler and then the other rattler points out that she got a second bite, didnt look like it hurt though

Sadly, I finished it today. Stealth and cunning right up my street. Some good puzzles. Keen for part 2 on pc. Not sure about another go. No issues GTX 1080.

@@stonedsour914048" 4K tv, did not look at fps. Ran well. The GTX 1080 is old in pc terms but still a beast of a card. I've tried RTX 3070, not worth changing.

Played the a few times lol. What bit exactly?
@@GameRiot a few places but mostly that gated zone right before the hotel where you have to go up to the second floor. Took me almost a half hour to figure out where to go and then ended up looking it up. I kept passing the exit over and over because I thought it just led me right back to the front. Took out every single guy there when I could’ve stealthed through

Right now it runs perfectly fine on a mid tier PC I get around 90-100 fps most of the time but sometimes it does drop to higher 50s in very demanding scenes. (Balls to the wall graphics, without motion blur)

I was quite surprised that I did not have any issues. My system is not even new. I use 2x RTX 3090, 256gb registered ECC ram, Asus WS C621E sage dual socket cpu motherboard and 2 x Intel Xeon Platinum 8268 cpus, A 2TB western digital M.2 Drive (the heatsink covered version). I do mainly graphics designand 3d animation but love my horror games. I thought I was going t have problems after seeing the complaints via STEAM. Guess, I am one of the lucky ones. I could not resist as i have been waiting for this game to be released on PC like forever. One day, I will get either an RTX 6000 ADA OR RTX 4090
