Great review. Granted I have two things I can add. A positive and a negative. The positive is the lack of advertising on the case. The fact that it doesn't actually have a Switch logo or any indication on whats inside is a big plus for keeping a $300.00 console on the go safe. The negative is the straps that hold the console in are fragile. My right strap broke from the top less than a week after I got it. I wasn't agressive with it. One day I was taking the Switch out and it simply snapped. However the case still does what it is intended to do. So much so that I bought a backup case for it (still unopened). Overall you covered it though. I agree, it's a great product.

I have been searching for a decent case for the longest time. I am on the fence about buying this case as well. When you close it, does it have enough integrity and sturdiness to protect the joy con sticks? I absolutely *HATE* that the majority of cases are weak af and flimsy. They can call it "military grade", "premium hard shell", "the best protection" or any other bs they want until they are blue in the face, but many of the cases I've tried all fail to protect the joy con sticks. When I go to work (I put the case in my tall Herschel) and when I travel (I put the case in my duffel bag), sometimes when I take it out, the analog stick is jammed down and I have to rotate it a few times to get it loose. Although it fixes the problem and it still works, this is not good for the long run, and if it keeps happening, I'm pretty sure it's going to F up my controllers. If anyone knows of a case that provides resistance for when it is in a bag, please let me know. Thank you!
Still have yet to find a case that I fall in love with, all have their little nitpicky issues. Personally on this one I don't like the elastic band system they came up with for holding the console inside. I want a case that I can easily (and quickly) take the switch in and out without having to wrangle with those, without having to compromise on the protection. A lot of other cases do that aspect better.

Yes, it's a pretty hard shell. Unlike the Zelda Special Edition case, this one doesn't press in when you squeeze it. You could throw it across the room with your Switch in there and everything would probably be fine, lol. 😋

This case is amazing, it really is compact, and looks basic, and I love simplistic cases, far better than those flash traveling cases but I guess this is my own opinion xD! Well as always, keep up the great work man, your videos are becoming better and better every once in a while :D!

+1MikeTakesAHike I just tested that out for ya and I can confirm that I'm the Joy-Con Grip does fit, with room for at least one other pair of Joy-Cons. But it's a little tight, so I'd be a little nervous about dropping it with the Grip in there. But it definitely fits! :) Hope that helps!

Hey I was wondering, can you fit 3ds cartidges in the little pouches for switch carts? It could be handy if you want to carry around a 3ds and switch for some reason.
Well they really misjudged the size of the switch. So much extra room for the switch and it looks like the game cart slots are for 3ds games. The elastic bands are definitely a dealbreaker. In my opinion RDS has the best securing mechanism, even the Butterfox case got rid of the elastic and copied RDS.

FILIP I got a $10 case by Iys or something! It is like the Hori $20 one, but it did have a weird smell but it's washed out now so I'm happy with my purchase!
one thing I wish a case maker would do is make a case that you could pocket I have a hard shell case like this but some times I'll put my switch tablet in this fabric bag I had for my 3ds xl (from club nintendo) and then my joy con in a soft fabric ds light case (also from club nintendo) and then I can fit both easily in one pocket. I feel a lot better about it now that I finally got my screen protector today It took forever to get here. But I just wish there was a bit of a hard shell in my design. Of course if I am going some where where I need my charger Ill bring the hard shell case but I just wish some company would make a harder case with separate compartments for the switch and joy con to make the case smaller but thicker although many case hold accessories above the switch so just shorter and slightly less convenient to take the switch out of (having to take off the joy con every time) .

Mine came with 2 screen protectors, earbuds, backpack clip. It was a good buy for 15 dollars

+Samule Wisniewski It's a really great case! It's functionally identical to the special addition Zelda case, if you couldn't get that one. I think I'm going to start using it so I don't wear out my Zelda case too quickly ;)
