Despite being both VA synths as the microKORG (and even featuring a supposedly superior synth engine), I have zero luck to find patches in the style of BOC, Tycho, etc. for them.
Your patches really taught me a lot about synthesis because I had to manually put them into the MicroKorg one at a time with the prg files. I will say this, I've tried to replicate/clone some of the patches on the Peak and although I've got really close, either the MK being more low end or the Peak being more top of the line, I just cant seem to replicate the more eerie lofi quality of the microkorg oscillators on the Peak. That being said, the Peak patches have their own beautiful richness that the MK cant capture in the same patch. Really proves that each synth has its own character. Thanks again!
Also wanted to thank yuo for introducing me to the idea of adding a light bit of pitch on the envelope atk - really creates a nice textured quality! on a saw wave!
You are 100% right. Many times I've tried to "transfer" some patches from one synth to another and I simply couldn't. It was much easier for me to just make the patches from scratch. Every instrument has it's own sound - definitely.
@@Synth-PatchesCom IHow are you numbering the PRG files? For example, does patch #9 in the video = B11 or does it = A21 (which is how the PRG files are listed - all the A patches then the B patches). Im trying to add some patches manually because the mac editor (not the vst) does not work on the new macs. So I have to put them into a PRG patch decoder. Thanks!
@@Synth-PatchesCom hmm...that did not work. I numbered the PRG files and chose number 83 (that’s the patch number I like from the video). But it’s not the correct patch. I tried it both ways (A11,...A18, A21...A28, etc.) and (A11...A18, B11...B18, A21...A28, B21...B28 etc). No matter how I sequence the files, it’s not correct. Perhaps if you could let me know what PRG file corresponds to patch 83 from video, I can use that as a reference? Thanks 😊
I'm deeply dissapointed by this new Microkorg :/ I was waiting for the MK2 but not this kind. The original one is really well designed. It needs only more voices and better fx. The new one will be forgotten quickly in my opinion...But I'm going to create another pack for the original one. And MK2 maybe in the future! :)

Thanks!
@@GrootsieTheDog It shoukd be A21 :)
Thanks 😊
these sound pretty analog to me great vibe
Thank you!
Great
Thank you! :)
Wow... amazing! Do you have any sound packs for the Digitone?
Thank you! No, I'm not very familiar with FM synthesis...You can see all soundbanks here: synth-patches.com/microkorg/
@@Synth-PatchesCom Alright, cool. I'll have a look. Thanks
hi friend :) how do you feel about the microkorg 2 coming out? do you think you'll make any packs for it? thanks.
@@Synth-PatchesCom i trust your honest opinion. thank you and take care.
Puedo adaptar esos presets a mi Korg minilogue xd?
Desearía descargarlos y cargarlos a la biblioteca de mi synth
Estos sonidos no son compatibles con Minilogue XD. Pero hay un parche separado disponible para Minilogue XD: synth-patches.com/miniloguexd/
I don’t have the synth but might buy the vst just for these patches tbh, wish there were more patches like this for the vst to make it worth buying, as I’m in between this idea and u-he diva but I can find patches or banks for diva like this so it’s a hard one
I'm suprised that there are no similar sounds for Diva...Maybe I should create a pack?
@@Synth-PatchesCom there is a lot of ambient techno style stuff, but not quite like the stuff you do it’s just so much better, and I love those woozy boards of Canada type sounds, I hope you get round to making a bank for diva as I’m I know there is a market for them 100 percent 😊
Have anything special planned for Microkorg XL's 15th anniversary? :) Wish I could just jam these in mine
Not really :/ I don't have XL but I've just published the soundbank for the Minilogue XD :D synth-patches.com/miniloguexd/
Congrats!
did you eventually wrote them down? :D I would love to buuy them but then patch them myself to learn the process behind it and not just import them all at once in the device. that would be so lovely, thxx for making such beautiful sounds
found a converter, thxxx!!
I love you, have your packs for ms2000,novation circuit and deepmind
Thank you and have lof of fun! :)
I just bought it!
Totally amazing ! Thanks from 🇲🇽
Do you have some patches for Roland system 1?
Hi! Thank you! No, now I'm going to create sound bank for Deepmind :)
these sound amazing yet again T_T. are you doing any post-processing to these sounds?
Hi! No. Only little reverb. You can listen to dry sound on my website
Please please release for the minilogue xd!
I'm going to! :)
@@Synth-PatchesCom loooking forward to it!!!!!!! I recently just bought your microkorg sets and as much as id like to have the prophet rev2, i cant afford it. MINILOGUE XD COMIN IN HOT, thank you
@@Synth-PatchesCom I'd also buy that, these sound great but my Microkorg already is full of custom patches I've put in order :-(
Can you also get the patch recipes to make the patches manually if I buy?
Yes, there are PRG files which you can convert into TXT with parameters.
@@Synth-PatchesCom is that easy to do?
@@whitelightenergydads Yes, in the downloaded folder you will find the link to the page where you can convert PRG files in one click :)
@@Synth-PatchesCom thanks!
You make these synths sparkle so well that I'd love to have your patches for the most popular hardware synths out there.
Any plans on the next synth?
Thank you! Deepmind, Minilogue XD :)
@@Synth-PatchesCom Oh that is going to be nice! :D
@@Synth-PatchesCom More of this type of sound on the XD! Looking forward to it.
I couldn’t agree more. I don’t know how he does it. This guy is the sole reason I kept my Rev2.
Prophet 6 next?
AMAZING bought immediately
Thank you!
Best sounds
are there any plans of making these patches for MiniNova?...
Maybe next year! :)
Individual .SYX files available with purchase?
There are individual PRG files available :)
Hi, are there plans for new patches for the Microkorg?
Yes, there will be next part, but I can't precise the date at the moment.
