Thanks for your generous donation to the channel. I will give you a shout-out in an upcoming video for this - should I use the name Trinity? Let me know...😬
@@gstongs Black Bear forge adds decorative markings. Usually something simple like 3 lines, made with a chisel, or he will split the ends and make scrolls. I like his fireplace tools, not super fancy he just twist the shafts and makes loops for handles so they can hang on something. He does a lot of teaching content. Guys like you and him make it look like fun and if I wasn't so old and beat-up from cancer you would inspire me to try my hand at blacksmithing, as it is I'll just watch and enjoy. Thanks for what you do.
Yes, it's a different kind work when blacksmithing and to be honest, my butt was hurting right away as I sit when I forge and hadn't done so in a while. Thanks.
really nice work it is a great knocker i just found you video and are so glad to see a BS that don't make knife ore axes, because almost every BS here on YT does thatand it gets so boring, so thanks for not doing that
I am in Taiwan but there isn't much to see as my shop really isn't a shop but just a small workspace. And I recently got back from a long trip in the US and am very busy catching up on things currently. Thanks.
Hi, I'm in Taiwan. I've lived here for a very long time. The shipping depends on the weight of the items but all of my prices include the standard postal airmail as I just find it easier to price stuff this way. Thanks.
We had a pretty big earthquake when I was here, before my trip back to the US to build my small home. But we've also had quite a few tremors recently. Thanks.
Thanks!

I love that! Simple, yet elegant! We'll done, Sir!
I think the key word for me is simple. Thanks Steve.
That'll look good on the new house
I will put a custom door knocker on my front door next trip back. Thanks.
Glen take a look at black bear forge. He has done some door knockers that you may like. I have gotten a lot of good ides from him.
Thanks for the suggestion. I already have another idea for a different style door knocker so let's see...

Looks good, simple and it will work as intended.
As I told someone else, simple should be my middle name. Thanks.
looks great Glen. I don't know why im struggling with mine so much. Besides the fact my brain cant just keep it simple.
It's obvious - yours is way more detailed and involved than mine. My brain seemingly only knows simple! Thanks.
Very cool, as it turns cooler here in Texas I think this would be a great Fall project. Thanks Glen!
As per my usual, it's simple and functional. I have another idea for a different style door knocker that I may try soon. Thanks.
Very nice. Very simple in design. Very functional. Meets intended purpose. Can’t ask for much more.
Yeah Sonny, this fits my style to a T - simple... Thanks.
Nice Glen. Simple and functional. Looks great. Thanks for sharing.
I will have another go at a different style door knocker soon. Thanks.
I would mount that on my house. Very nice Glen
Me too. I will make something similar for my new place. Thanks.
Thank you
My pleasure. Thanks for your generosity. Glen
Bet you found a few muscles and callouses that might not have had much attention now you're back on the blacksmiths tools
Yes, it's a different kind work when blacksmithing and to be honest, my butt was hurting right away as I sit when I forge and hadn't done so in a while. Thanks.
I would mount that on my door and be proud of it.
It's practical and should work just fine. Thanks for your kind comment.
I love the simplicity of it!
Simplicity should be my middle name. Thanks.
Great job. Thank you 😊
It's my pleasure. Thanks.
Very nice Glen!
Thanks my friend.

I'm not much of a blade maker. In fact, I pretty much stink at edge tools as it's just not my interest for the most part. Thanks.
very nice work
Thanks.
Very fine, I like it !!
I will have another go at a different style door knocker soon. Thanks.
You know I think thats the first time I have ever seen you use a "normal" shaped anvil..as in not Glenn shaped
thanks for sharing
Yes, I very rarely use that horned, London pattern style anvil. Thanks.
@@gstongs I just had a funny thought.......trying to get any of my anvils up to your workshop..I need a winch just to turn my swage block roflol
You are the best
I appreciate your kind comment. Thanks.

@@gstongs OK no probs
Nice work! What’s the story on your swedge tool?self made? Very nice.
Yeah Paul, most of my swage tools are items I designed and made myself or had a machinist make. I was selling a few versions some time back. Thanks.
Excelent 👌
Thanks.

Thanks for your support.
Weren’t you in Vietnam? How much does it cost to ship all your blacksmith and gear back to the states?
Indonesia, great long thing that it is, is his location. No idea which island much less the specific location.
Edited to say, I'm wrong here.
Pretty sure he's in Taipei, IIRC.
@@dennisobrien3618 that's right, I remember hearing that a long while back.

Did you have an earthquake there recently? Maybe when you were back in the states?

Blacksmithing?!? I thought you were a Home Builder. JK... lol
Yes, I'm known now for the fine art of wood butchering. And hey, this blacksmithing stuff is hard! Thanks.
