Yeah, I looked into the Yeti Goal Zero but I saw a you tube video that compared the two and the Kodiak won hands down so I decided to add a couple hundred bucks and got the better one.
This is a game changer in vanlife. I had one of those 100 watt kits you can purchase from harbor freight when I first started out (you can see it packed in my HHR in one of my first videos, I think) but I knew that was not going to cut it for me so the Kodiak was the FIRST thing I purchased for my new van life. I don't regret it at all. I have gone solely on this for three days (only plugging it in for a couple hours) and the indicator light never went off the blue which means it's completely charged. I'm sure it could last much longer than I've tested it but the three days is all I know for sure it will hold a complete charge even while using it.
that is so awesome! Yeah i got the harbor freight kit with 3 batteries. it would be ok if the panels were on the roof. but I'm not ready for that yet. lol maybe some day when I'm rich and famous i can get a battery like yours. lol
