Thats because first a 737 cant land ontop a mountain, second is that this plane was really fast ,and thurd is that the land gears in besiege are notoriously weak and in the case couldnt handle the hard, fast landing causing it to collapse

Yes. The plane was able to fly fine. Bad piloting? Also, the very next clip shows an “emergency landing” in a tunnel with an Antonov an-124... they could have just flown in a 180° turn to land on the highway slower

Yes! If I remember correctly, an A-10 hit by a rocket and heavy fire took worse hits than this, and it still returned back to base safely.

Just a idear but to make the aircraft more robust build into the designs the floors and bulkheads part of the structure and helps absorb some damage in modern airliners
