In one of the helicopter crashes, I like it how they just crashed and a passenger is still reading the newspaper like “Oh, todays news is interesting right man?”
Quite a few of these would have been deemed pilot incompetence and not knowing the stresses and functional capabilities of their own aircraft... overstressing is just as bad as a missile.
Same mentality as any pilot really. They're trained to fight til the end and never give up even if they have no chance. Plenty of examples from IRL crashes where the final flight inputs and cockpit communications show the pilots kept trying to save their plane until impact.
Am I the only one who watches these and tries to think of a scenario for each scene. It's quite fun thinking of what could actually be happening ( e:g an f16 destroying a hijacked airliner at 4:20)
A couple points on the sound effects - 1 - For the opening and closing of the airbrakes I don't think you should be adding sounds since it's as if you're using the ailerons. Plus they don't make much noise opening anyway. 2 - For shells flying by you could find a simple bullet crack sound effect. That would make it less annoying when a bunch are flying by, would also make it more realistic of course. 3 - For the gunfire, maybe try to find the sound of a larger gun. Something like a 20 mm or higher, since most of the guns firing would be that caliber or above anyway. This would also make it sound more realistic and less annoying :P Overall though the videos are great. I've been watching for a while and haven't been disappointed. Great work on the vehicles as well, it's crazy what you can do.
