Series 772: The piglet tax as atomic express

You can see the DDR motor coaches of the former German Reichsbahn (class 172 or VT 2.09) on the factory railway to the former nuclear power plant Rheinsberg. The track was also called atomic express. Since this railway system was kept secret, there was no timetable in the DR-Kursbuch. This hung only on site. The breakpoint Beerenbusch, originally built for the workers of Wohnbarackensiedlung in the construction of the NPP, was later used for the DDR summer camp "Heinz Dwillat", but never equipped with a station sign. The images are mainly from 2016 and were all made on the occasion of the special trips to the station festival in Rheinsberg.
