This color story is the first one I’ve seen that I might like from them. These shimmers also look like a big step up from what they’ve had in the past! Do you think so? I bought some singles about 3 years ago… and they didn’t blend very easy for me.
@cavlizzy These are so much better than their formula from 3 years ago! Their formula was already gradually getting better, but this and the Avatar collection are truly what you'd expect from indie
@@MarlieWijn If I hadn’t read your title first… I NEVER would have guessed this palette was from Lethal‼️ I could tell it looked like good quality just when you held the palette up in the video. They’ve been off my radar for a while. So even the inside palette design looks much better than what I’ve seen from them in the past. IMO. Wow!
1. You're so lucky omg!!! Pls do tell how much was it? 2 . Despite being a sister to Midnight Serenade, I'm gonna get it next year In Feb, on my bday cause I'm no buying till then Goregeous looks!
I love that you were able to snag the new Lethal palette and launched the video right after their reveal 😁 Your video helps me to make a decision about their BF sale next week
I also didn't try any bad purples in a long time. Lethal was actually one of the first brands I tried with a nice purple formula but now I have so many great ones from different brands.
I have the Midnight Serenade and I love it. I think this would Be a nice addition. I did not get the previous palette as the mattes were not my favorite tones - too many light shades. This new palette is definitely on my list for 2025 but I want to see a comparison between this and the Midnight Serenade palette because could they be very similiar?
I was thinking the exact same thing, I have both of those palettes and was wondering how different they are from the new one. I'll probably hold off on buying this one especially since the clasp will make it difficult to store
I think they look VERY similar. This, and the Serenade in particular Also I see some similarities between this and the more green of the 'flower' palettes.
As one who owns every palette and single eye shadow that Lethal Cosmetics has released, I'm very well versed to speak on their quality. Despite ordering only a few hours after the Avatar Collection was launched, it was already sold out and I had to wait endless months to receive mine in Australia. Naturally, all excitement had completely waned by then. A few of the shimmers in different palettes arrived smashed - one to smithereens. Despite this, I pressed them back into where they were meant to belong. I was surprised at how flaky the shimmers were in this collection. Imagine how I felt when one matte wouldn't even adhere to another upon application! I had fallout from matte shades down my clothes! The shimmers were worse!! Lethal did explain that they had to now change suppliers due to their brand expanding, yet I have only felt that the quality has been compremised. I worry when I look at the shimmers in that palette and your comments about fallout and the mattes feeling dry. This is a big worry for me. Imagine owning an entire brand's products, with very few exceptions, from just the one brand. Then, ask yourself how you'd feel if everything changed. This is where I am now. Do you have previous experience with Lethal? If so, are you noticing a difference? From what you stated in this video, it appears that you have. I'd appreciate it if you can state whether the shimmers are as flaky as they appear. I use brushes, as I am an artist. Although not a MUA, an artist of many genres all the same. All shadows should work whether used with brushes, fingers etc. Oden's Eye have had flaky shimmers, yet after all this time, it's expected and we know what we're getting. At this point, I have no idea what will turn up with Lethal now and I'm hoping that you can describe your experiences. As a side note, I own literally hundreds of eye palettes alone, most from luxury brands of impeccable quality. Lethal used to be highly ranked, yet no longer. As you are only the second one to review this palette, I'm very interested. Thanking you.🇦🇺💖👩🏼🎨
@MarlieWijn Thank you for replying so soon. I became concerned when it was announced that certain products would now be made up 'elsewhere'. I loved Lethal Cosmetics because of the quality I had found and the direction in which they were heading. I own several palettes from Oden's Eye, but I know what their formula is like and limit how much I purchase. Everything changed for Lethal when the Midnight Serenade, Mellow Grove and Avatar Collection came into being. They were no longer removable shadows that could be purchased separately or changed around. They had built their aesthetic on the BYOP option, which many enjoyed. This has now gone, as it doesn't include any of the abovementioned palettes. As soon as the palettes changed and the shape of the pans, the brand took a route that I was totally against. One of the best eye-shadows available in the marketplace today is Blend Bunny Cosmetics. These palettes are made in China, yet they are literally some of the very best in my view. Most other Indie Brands have palettes made in China, although something I find hypocritical as they are still supporting the Chinese Beauty Industry, whether vegan, clean or not. One doesn't support someone responsible for the issue of clean beauty/animal testing to begin with and the ongoing controversy. Somehow, I have a fairly decent sized collection from Lethal and better off calling it quits now in regards to the change in shadows. I do like the Eye-Liners and hope to buy those, but as far as the shadows are concerned, I'm out. I initially purchased everything because I loved the formula, but this isn't the case any longer. At least I know that when I purchase the Natasha Denona Roxa Palette, it will be the same exceptional formulation that I always recieve from her brand. During these times, we can't afford to not be sure of what we will be receiving. I'm so grateful for your honest responses. I still hope that the shadows don't cause you too much trouble and you will continue to enjoy what you purchased. Thanks again, Kris.💖
YAY! I am so happy you were able to get this collection💃🏿💃🏿 This color story reminds me of their Midnight palette that released earlier this year? I will be getting that palette if it is available on Black Friday. You looked so pretty!🌸 I loved the eye looks- you are so great at creating looks. I am still on the fence on this palette. Omg… so lucky haha. Love both your looks, seems like really great quality of the shades. In love with the magic colorstory, will be a superb complementary addition to my midnight!
LOVED that first eye look!!🤩 So pretty. How many of their multi-chrome liners have you tried? - Also curious, have you gotten any snow ❄️ yet? I saw that Belgium had a heavy snow yesterday!!🌨️ (Kinda unusual this early I thought.👀) So was curious about your area 😁
@@cavlizzy Thank you ❤️❤️ Only these two, I believe it's a new formula. However they've had liquid multichrome liners in the Avatar collection, but I haven't tried those. Just a tiny tiny bit of wet snow where I live 😄
@@MarlieWijn Y’all get some major “wet” snow! And MASSIVE snowflakes.❄️ One day while living in Overijse, my kids & I were shopping inside a Diddl mouse store when I noticed it began to seriously snow. It took less than 15 seconds for us to run from the store to our car & we were completely drenched!! (Hair sopping wet! just from snow. I was shocked)🙀 Like it had been a Texas thunderstorm. 😂 - Never experienced anything like that but in Belgium. I seriously used my umbrella more for snow than rain!!😳 Snowflakes in Texas are TINY (and dryer) compared to the large “strawberry to plum” size flakes you get! 😂🤣 ha ha (I’ll never forget that first snow experience in Belgium👀)
