One of our kids had a sleepwalking issue for a while. We discovered it by him falling down the stairs. At first it was that dread of "sh*t is he okay?!" At some point my wife and I just looked at each other wondering if he was ONLY falling down the stairs. Really took the edge off the fear when we both realized that sounded like 100 more stairs than should be there.
That's hilarious! I hope he's okay😊
@JazzlynnRoscoe Mostly! I think that was our first real bonding experience. He woke up and realized he was not in his bedroom. Got a little freaked out he may have fallen up and down the same flight of stairs about eight times.. he panicked a little about the possibility of brain damage. I was "nah, kid. Your eyes are fine. I've made it through like eight head injuries and two near-death experiences. Want to talk about it?" He said that sounds boring. He wanted to go back to bed, but he settled for me monitoring him on the couch the rest of the night. There was a point I didn't say out loud. If he figured out how to hit the MC Escher staircase stunt again, I would be able to see for myself what happens.
