And if you want to set up brakes, make the origin of brakes in the center of the brakes wheel empty, then add for brakes an object constraint -> copy rotation of your "arrow/direction"

you mean : "how to make the arrow rotate at the same time the car turns ?"..? I don't really know because I prefer to do it manually (for turns or drifts). I think it's possible by playing with the modifiers.. maybe with copy rotation of the car body empty on the arrow.

I mean....which modeling parts require top view...which parts require the front view and which part require the side part...whenever i make a car..when i look from top it look line to line with blueprint..but when i get back to front view..the front view is all messed up...pls helpp❤
Ok, when you're stuck like that with your blueprints..I would advise to look a reference photos and maybe work in free cam (not in front/top/bottom/...).
Sometimes, it's a bit hard to rassemble all the part of the car body.. You can select the wheels and place them in another layer in order to select only the body.
Why not try blender 2.80 it's easier no graph just parent the wheels with the emty and add a simple driver such as x*var , x could be an value from 1- infinite
question! i managed to get this to work several times, however now after a while it doesn't work no more with the camber... have i missed something? i tried everything and no results :/
can i ask you, what or how do you post process your videos? I love what you are doing with car videos and am at the process of making my own big project....
Thanks. I downloaded this Porsche RUF CTR. The model looks very bed, contains a lot of errors and already triangulated. I spent about 2 weeks porting the materials to cycles and 2.8. Also i did the rig according to your method, but it looks non realistic in motion. Right now i don't know why. Especially i don't know how the wheels animated in render. I saw your result and I gotta say the materials are nice with eevee, congratulations ! Then, for then animation, you can improve two things : -1rst, when the car is going strait, the effect on the wheels doesn't look very realistic because in real life there would be motion blur. Add motion blur and you'll already notice that it's way better looking. -2nd, when the car makes and handbrake turn, you should smooth the animation when the car stops (and with that much speed, the car would slide a bit more) and when it accelerate again. I hope that'll help you ;) Keep me informed if you make a version 2.
I spent all night trying to make working motion blur in 2.8. And it works incorrectly. It blurs entire car with the wheels instead of only the wheels. Motion blur works fine in 2.79 but looks like not in 2.8. May be developers still not implemented it fully. Yes it's easier to make an empty , parent the wheels add a driver from setting if you can't see them (click n >view > rotation x) then right click on x > add a driver > there will be writing thing like this var (something ) delete it and write x*var , x could be any number it will change the speed

My tyres are slicks with a texture applied, so are nowhere near the real thing, and this leads to limitations with my model.

The wheels will rotate automatically according to the mouvement of the car body. You just have to find the good value (like at 3:29)

Car rig is glitching out for me. The wheels glitch out and move on the y-axis instead of the x-axis.
that's maybe because you have to apply rotation/location before parenting them to their empty.

What do you mean by the camber ?
after i give the wheels camber, the wheel does not rotate how it should have, it goes on it's own
