Excellent! Had to watch it again immediately to even begin to take in the power and genius. How inspiring and thought-provoking! I particularly love the play with the notion of living at different heights and characters with varying abilities to achieve them; and the comparison of “garden” and “field” for scale of humanity is beautiful. It all comes together into a package that should be respected and revered for its ambition and understated confidence. A real everyman fable told in wisdom and warning. I’m a fan! Better watch it again…
Absolutely wonderful, will try to share, and will listen again. For us elderly, slow witted, and maybe losing our faculties, it would be brilliant if somebody could add subtitles to add impact and accessibilty. Twould be lovely to think that this message could be spread in every language across the globe. Thankyou Ronan.
@@ronanosnodaigh Thankyou Ronan. I'm 80 now and found out I could sing when I was 66, so have been performing at open mics with guitar since. Your fantastic poem is beyond my memory span at the moment so have typed it out. I read it out last week at a spoken word event, and it was really well received in hush. Through your bodhran lessons I have discovered so many wonderful musicians/singers together with the imagery of Myles O'Reilly. Hoping to return to Ireland this coming summer to catch some events. Thankyou for inspiring and best wishes to you and yours. Tez Fuller Livin
A powerful piece, Myles & Ronan. Took a couple of minutes in to twig what it was allegorising - computer tells me I've just made that last word up. I hope to see you two fellas again soon.
Great effort Rónân.. really nice. Personally I preferred the original from years back that got deleted. But I understand you need to spell things out for people these days.
@@myles.o.reilly yes, that's the one..I thought this was an expansion of the Garden Wars theme. They're both great and commendable pieces of work. Very much appreciated
Ah saw ye deliver this in Dolans 💕
Brilliantly delivered and written. Aren't we all in the valley in the garden in the field
Exactly
