Venice! That's where I thought I wouldn't like, but we stayed for a few days, didn't go to the main tourist spots, loved it and hated to leave! Can't wait to go back.
We spent 2 months in India last year and Alex didn't get sick a single time but I did. First time I believe it was from something I ate or drank but the second time I'm quite sure it was heat exhaustion. We ate cheap street food all the time but didn't eat any meat although we weren't vegetarian, but we we wanted to play it safe. We didn't go to see Taj, nor did we go to Dheli, but we did celebrate Holi. Or Alex did, I didn't, but not because it wasn't safe for woman. This was where I got sick unfortunately so Alex got to have all the fun and at our hostel there were many foreign woman of all ages celebrating in the streets and they didn't seem to have had any problems. We were warned about celebrating it in Varanasi or the place where you went. Loved the video and it made us miss India a lot. Thanks for sharing all these memories with us. 😀
Paharganj in Delhi is a cheap but unsafe place for foreigners. It’s always wise to stay safe in 4 star or 5 star hotels. Cheats lurks around in every corner. Taj Mahal no doubt is very beautiful.

My first couple of hours in Delhi a cow had diarrhoea and the splatter went onto my feet and leg 😂 I was surprised by the cost of accommodation in India especially what you got for the price. After 5 weeks travelling Northern India I ended my trip with a day trip from Delhi to the Taj. I think I was just ready to leave the country because I remember feeling underwhelmed by the Taj, but I’m sure I had built it up in my head to be way more magical. I also was just tired and very much done with crowds, so my mood would have impacted my experience greatly.
Yes, mood has such a huge impact how how much you can really enjoy a place.. and even on memories of places. But my god, I have no idea how I would have been if a cow did that to us.. it may have pushed us over the edge 😅

Hey thanks for coming to India . I am happy that Brits are making an effort to pay the 45 trillion US dollar which is 17 times bigger than the UK’s gdp overall they owe to India. So thank you for reducing that number
They owe us nothing. That have built universities and schools, medical colleges and orphanages in India. They built railroads and roads and farms and industries. They introduced us to Western philosophy and etiquette. And they taught us English, the most beautiful language in the world.. for which we shall forever be grateful to the Brits. Thank you for coming here and leaving us a bit more civilised than when you found us.

@@TT-zd6nr Fortunately I do, lining ones stomach with alcohol before eating any food will often help, as both ends at same time is awkward to say the least! Drinking plenty of water, well known bottled or boiled for 3 minutes and cooled local water will keep one hydrated and flush some bacteria out if one is unfortunate to get sick.
@@tonys1636 I gather from your constitution tbat you must have been in the Navy:) One of my sons was and could eat breakfast in a force 8. Not me.
@@TT-zd6nr Never in the Navy, Father was an RN Officer though, I spent a good few years as a truck driver and spent many hours on ferries, I loved it if the Channel or North Sea was rough, it meant the restaurant was almost empty, oh, and eating at dodgy truck stops helped as well. Not so good if a vehicle broke loose on the car deck and caused carnage.
@@tonys1636 you should try all major rajasthan cities they are mesmerizing
you travel lot of country you still 100k . The Juice vlog, only blog in Philippines almost 474k and making it happen,
everyday tv.
Just Delhi agra jaipur is not even 5 percent of india. I don't know why all the Travellers vist there. I would suggest start from South and end in North. It would be quite good
Emma, your unfortunate experience echoed my own. I had people doubting that I was telling the truth. It really put me off going t there, unfortunately.
Guy reminds me of roman kemp
Terracotta Army in Xian - very over rated. Only a few on display most are still under a mound of earth. The film is quite informative though.
To be clear - I meant the film at Xian - Travel Beans are always great!!!!
We had to do the incense thing in a room in Kuala Lumpa, ha!
Congrats on 100k subs too! Well deserved. Such great content.
Every place has its pros and cons. Not sure I could get past the cons on this one.
Bondi beach - certainly didn't live up to the hype for me!
Not over-hyped - The Grand Canyon. Pictures do not do it justice. It's a feeling, experience you have to do live.
Nice job Emma & Alexandria (they were prescient - remembering the Italy one-piece) - lol.
Hearing how you were treated makes me question how much was depression and how much was being surrounded by ***holes! Maybe if you spread out the culture shock in the future.
May last year, news broke that two men had been arrested for the murder of Liga Skromane, a Latvian tourist found murdered near Kovalam in Thiruvananthapuram, India 🇮🇳 . Liga, who had come to Kerala for a wellness treatment, went missing on March 14 last year. One month and a week later, her decomposed and headless body was found at a mangrove forest in Thiruvallom

I did not enjoy Paris in any way. Would love to know whats with all the dog doo there. Lordy.
racist much
@@dilan_2074 Never said I did not like the french. Stupid much.

Major letdown for me and still don’t understand the place... Time Square? What is that all about? Just one big billboard of adverts! Definitely a let down from the hype!
Sorry about the holi experience that you previously had.
I know that seeing the Taj Mahal is a must but frankly the crowds and the condition of the cities seem very uncomfortable and unpleasant.
then dont go to old dhelhi
Hey thanks for coming to India . I am happy that Brits are making an effort to pay the 45 trillion US dollar which is 17 times bigger than the UK’s gdp overall they owe to India. So thank you for reducing that number
Also hope that you’ll enjoy your national dish we gave you’ll . Cheers!!
@@NordicPolestar I feel really sorry for you mate seeing the lack of knowledge and ignorance you possess
First, get in! In your face
You're making this a habit now, sir. ;)
We want to visit India but we want all luxury at a cheap price so that we can complain about that and make a video.
Being British means fighting to the end in Lucknow, not allowing insolent cheater to put you inti a stink hole for your own money.
Taj mahal is obviously overhyped. Lot of temples are here which have no maintenance. Lot of converted to mosque already.
And govt. Is shit.
How is your experience in india.reply your answer
I'm sorry for the bad things and experience you had here. Especially, the bit of being a woman in India. I love my country, but I'm ashamed of that nonsense, idiotic behavior.
🙏🙏🙏
Hope you liked somethings, and hope you do visit again and again.

Too many advertisements.
I was considering watching this channel but the thumbs are cringe worthy. You dont need that, it's decent content.
Sorry to say this, but I was not impressed by India. Have no interest in returning.
Most overhyped place during all my travels? Stonehenge.
Did Rajasthan state impressed you🤔
@@TH-cam-ih8lp Obviously there are culturally important places there but I'm sorry. I have had the opportunity to return but it isn't interesting for me for various reasons.
