    BTS is not following TikTok trends. This song came out in 2017, one year before TikTok launched in America in 2018. BTS starts trends that others follow. Perhaps you can educate yourself more before making uninformed and derogatory comments.

      yes bts did it before tik tok no bts did not make these dances trends maybe in korea or asia but it was already popular dances in the states. - a american woman from NYC who seen ppl do these dances at lunch in school before bts did them.
      bts gives credit where its due armys should also practice that dont set them up so people think theyre stealing when they always pay homage and know theyre a guest in hip hop. hip hop culture includes dancing, djing and graffiti not just rapping.

    Some insight to why Army reacted the way they did. With what BTS has gone through fighting their way up while being made fun of (including being called girls or girly) Army (BTS fanbase)has become extremely protective. And hearing Hobi referred to as someone like Jefree will set nerves on edge. This group of men are very humble, etremely talented and absolutely gorgeous. Hobi aka J-Hope is sunshine incarnate! He represents hope for more people than you could imagine. And after all the hate and hurt we have seen him receive in the past folks tend to get protective.I get that you didn't intend to insult and luckily Army is normally pretty forgiving. Take the time to get to know the boys. They're worth it. And we will be here to watch you learn.

      he is wrong about the tik tok comment bts songs majority did come out before tik tok however majority of these dances WERE ALREADY popular in hip hop culture. bts put them together in mic drop, gogo, anpanman etc
      those dances have names prior to bts using them so no bts did not invent or make them trends and they also did not get them from tiktok but are true.

      @@tastefullyrics4895 Thank you for saying this, BTS have created a lot of original stuff and of course anything they do becomes a trend, but they're also strongly influenced by hip hop culture. They're open about that and acknowledge their influences regularly. They never claimed to invent this style of dance, and it's not helpful if ARMY try to claim that for them!

      @@tastefullyrics4895 Using dance moves that already exist is one of the most basic principle of dance and has nothing to do with using popular Tiktok dances though - comparing those two situations make no sense. Of course all the moves they use come from dance styles that already exist, just like all choreographies out there. The fact that groups popularise those dance moves and end up as Tiktok trends is completely different

    Aw, they MADE the dances, and everyone is following THEM! Once in a while you'll see a popular dance like the floss as a JOKE, or a tribute move to MJ. They have the best choreographers in the world, you'll learn. And the best dance leader, J-Hope, who you singled out as being like someone else. These guys are #1, and this song is directed toward people who hate on them.

    Most of the dances you see on tiktok are copies of bts dance routines. This was recorded in 2017. BTS has lots of genres in music, there are 3 rappers and 4 singers, they have hard, popular and army music. there are songs like Dope, Anpanman, Black Swan, On, Fire, Airplane pt2, Butter, Dinamite, Truth Untold, House of Cards. Spring Day.... the list goes on . They have their solo works ( Suga goes by the name of Agust D in his solo work) . Lots to watch and appreciate ...

      Tik tok was released in 2016 but only became popular in 2018. I think that renegade dance challenge became popular in 2019 and this song came out in 2017. Your math is not mathing.
      Maybe you should watch their danger dance practice which is before tiktok was created 😅. Probably you should watch msmojo's list of best BTS choreography.

      example in gogo they do the floss which was known before bts and before fortnite and before tik tok. i dont know the names of every dance but i know ive seen them before bts did them. especially in high school when people were dance battling each other during lunch. i get if yall arent american armys or arent tuned into hip hop/dance culture but bts did not invent or make everything a trend. saying that to the wrong person is gonna get bts dragged and called culture vultures. dont set them up like that when they pay homage constantly. yall supposed to do yall homework when bts gives you their inspirations. example listening to the artists mentioned in hip hop lover.

    BTS debuted in June 2013, and Mic Drop was released September 18, 2017. TikTok wasn't created until 2016, so I think maybe people were using their dance moves to do TikTik clips. Not the other way around. BTS didn't really become popular in America until 2016/17, with Dope, and then Mic Drop. BTS joined TikTok in 2019 and became the fastest account to reach 1 million followers in the platform's history, doing so in 13 hours.

    Why do comments like they watch too much Tik Tok because they know all the American dance moves come out of people's mouths? Tik Tok was a one-year-old Chinese company literally just entering the US when this song was released. Some people seem to think the whole world operates under the context of their existence, in this case that of a Tik Tok user. Time to broaden your perspective and realize there is a lot more out there than what you know.,

    Sometimes it seems like people react to BTS to get their view count up and for no other reason. It's easy to see why with the largest fan base on the planet, but if you do plan on doing this, at least do a little research on what/who you're reacting to. This is the downside to watching these videos. The upside is every once in a while you get someone who starts out like this and then goes down the rabbit hole to become real fans of these gentlemen. Be a reactor that deserves the numbers, and not just someone using their fanbase. Army will accept you with open arms, but more importantly, you will gain a piece of joy in your life you never knew you were missing!

Lots of people actually make this mistake it's often a nervous habit.(if that's the case for you I expect you'll learn to control it over time it's probably because you're on camera.)

    This is a wonderful BTS song. 💥
    It was released in 2017. And although TikTok began its work in 2016, the account of the BTS group appeared there in 2019. Therefore, there was no way they could have done the choreography for this song using a video from Tik Tok. They have wonderful choreographers. No other group in K-pop, and not only in K-pop, has such choreographies as BTS has.
    If you look at the official videos of BTS’s songs (of which they currently have more than 300), you will understand this.
    BTS is an amazing group with a wonderful history, which debuted in 2013 with 7 members and which has maintained this composition to this day: no one has left the group and no one has been added.
    They have no equal. They are known and loved all over the world.💜
    They are the most popular and awarded group of all time. And not only in Korea. They are the only ones who have more than 1000 different awards at music awards and music shows at the moment. Who have broken hundreds of records (and are included in the Guinness Book of Records), who have 12 awards at the Billboard Music Awards and the title of Artist of the Year at the American Music Awards. They had six number one songs on the Billboard Hot 100 (they broke the Beatles' record). And at the moment, two more solo songs of BTS members Jimin and Jungkook have become number one on the Billboard Hot 100: “Like Crazy”, Jimin and “Seven”, Jungkook. Also with these songs the guys entered the club, the so-called, billionaires on the Spotify music platform. Their songs have over 1 billion streams on the platform. As well as several songs by the BTS group itself.
    Six guys from BTS currently have their own solo albums, and some already have more than one (except Jin). Everyone has their own solo songs.
    Now all the guys are serving in the army and therefore they took a temporary break from their group activities. They will get together again in 2025. But already in June 2024, one of the group members returns from the army, the eldest of them is Jin.
    BTS has the largest fandom in the world - ARMY. Who loves them very much, supports all their projects and protects them.
    BTS are the best! They are a legend!💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
    If you want to know more about BTS and about each of the guys separately, then take a look A Guide to BTS Members: The Bangtan 7.
    And also, listen to these songs first: Butter, Dynamite, Permission to Dance - these three songs are in English; Louder than bombs, House of Cards (concert version), The Truth Untold (Live Stage Mix Lyrics), Spring Day, Black Swan, ‘ON’ Kinetic Manifesto, Blood Sweat & Tears, FAKE LOVE, IDOL, Airplane pt.2, FIRE, DNA, Pied Piper and Dimple (live performance- lyrics version), Anpanman, Born Singer, Not Today, War of Hormone, No More Dream (this is their debut song). In general, they have a lot of cool songs.
    Also, listen to the guys' solo songs. For example:
    RM - "Wild flower", "Seoul" (prod. HONNE), "Winter flower", Younha (feat. RM), "Come back to me" (this is a song from his new album);
    SUGA/Agust D - "People Pt.2" (feat. IU), "Daechwita", "Haegeum", "Burn It", "Snooze" (feat. WOOSUNG);
    J-Hope - "MORE", "Arson", "On the street" (with J.Cole), "Doydream", "I wonder" (with Jungkook), "NEURON";
    JIN - "The Astronaut", "Yours", "Awake", "Epiphany";
    Jimin - "Like Crazy", "Set Me Free Pt.2", "Lie", "Filter", "Closer Than This", "VIBE" (Jimin & TAEYANG);
    V - "Slow Dancing", "Rainy Days", "Stigma", "Love Me Again", "FRI(END)S";
    Jungkook - "Standing next to You" (the song has a Remix with Usher), "Seven" (feat. Latto), "3D"(feat. Jack Harlow) - the song has a Remix with Justin Timberlake, "Hate You", "Euphoria", "Still With You", "TOO MUCH" (The Kid LAROI, Jung Kook, Central Cee), "Left and Right" (with Charlie Puth).
    Thank you for your reaction to the wonderful BTS!💜

    I'm glad you started with Mic Drop. People/reactors usually start with the most watched MVs, like Dynamite or Butter and even though we (ARMY) love those and of course a lot of the general population does, they need explanation on why they sound how they do. Mic Drop is a much better introduction to how BTS actually sound and what kind of songs they write themselves (music and lyrics incl.). If you are into the hip hop style, then definitely check out their early work (their debut tracks from 2013 MVs No More Dream and We Are Bulletproof, also N.O and Danger etc.) but don't be surprised how young they are in them. :) Their work continues with superb videos and songs I Need You, Dope, Run, Young Forever, ON, Black Swan, Fake Love, Dyonysus etc. etc. I think you will love Fire, it's a real banger. I also highly recommend you to check out one of the rappers, Suga, by the name Agust D, he has a trilogy Daechwita, then Haegeum and finally Amygdala that are visually striking, have meaningful lyrics and awesome rap. If you are interested learning more about BTS, the 'A Guide to BTS Members: The Bangtan 7' by Taylor Mari is the most comprehensive documentary out there to understand who BTS are. Continue the journey, you will enjoy it. :)

    ARMYs are, on the most part, forgiving of reactors who are new to BTS. Pre-conceived ideas of the group are not unexpected, but I hope you will continue your journey into discovering their music and personalities because they are genuinely worth your time.
    You seemed a little confused by the prison setting so I will try to give a very quick explanation. There is nothing in their MVs that doesn't mean something. This song and MV was BTS publicly saying farewell to all their haters as they have realised that no matter what they do haters are always gonna hate, so they will continue to make the music they want to as artists regardless of people trying to imprison them in a particular category or genre.
    I think you might quite like their Cyphers parts 1 to 4 where they address their haters a little more directly with some of the most savage rap with the best flows, cadences and word play in the business.

    urge you to react to ❣️BTS "HIP HOP LOVER" [ENG SUB] LIVE by Bangtan's Corner. th-cam.com/video/a_3KCRAYAFQ/w-d-xo.html. This so LIT, totally hype safe to see, song, gives homage to all the hip hop artists that meant so much, & inspired BTS all throughout their lives while growing up. This performance was from BTS 2015 HYYH On Stage performance in Japan. This one has the so very important English subs on screen. 👍🙏❤️‍🔥😍🔥🔥

    They are in a jail. 3 are rappers. If rap is your thing you might like to watch the rap line or listen to the rapper solo stuff. Rapline- UGH, Outro Tear. Solo - Suga: Daechwita, RM: Monster or Joke, Jhope : On the Street, More, or Arson.
    RUNBTS the recent 2022 release is good too.

    You are funny. Joke definition, seriously. there is also a thing called "eating crow." It looks like you have upset lots of people. Watch Taylor's guide to BTS Bangtan 7 it will give you great insight to the members and their struggles (haters).
    You have not even touched the tip of the iceberg with BTS. Numerous genres, talents (rap, sing, dance, act, play instruments, produce and the list goes on). BTS does not take other artist dances, other way around. In Oct 2022 BTS perform last concert till 2025 and introduced a new choreo to Army. In Jan 2023 Rihanna performed a dance move BTS did at the Superbowl.
    Suggested mv:
    RM: New song Come back to me, Joke ( no eng sub) Wildflower,
    Jin: Astronaut , Epiphany;
    Suga : Daechwita, Haegeum, and Amygdala
    J Hope: Chicken Noodle Soup, More and Arson.
    Rap line is RM, Suga and JHope Vocal line Jin, Jimin, V, and Jungkook or JK
    Jimin: Set me Free Pt 2 and Like Crazy
    V: Friends, Raining Days, Love me Again, Slow Dancing
    JK: Standing Next to you and Standing Next to you Remix with Usher ( yes, Usher this also came out before Superbowl 2024) So Army saw the dances moves before the world..... and many, many more over 400 songs for BTS.
    Hope this helps you see what they got, which will be a jaw drop. 60 yr old Army here, never into rap ( western) now changed because of BTS . Hope you continue down the rabbit hole, Army would love to make this journey with you.

    First as followed BTS did not at all follow no TIKTOK trends or any other social media trend since TIKTOK wasn’t even created until 2016 which this song came out in 2017 they debuted in June 2013 before they even knew about TIKTOK plus #RM & #SUGA were legit underground rappers at 13 years old long before being BTS, JHOPE has been dancing since he was 10 years old, JK born prodigy (good at anything he puts his mind to), JIN came from having no musical bkgd learning everything from scratch, JIMIN was a top dancing student from modern contemporary to hiphop, and V learned the saxophone for 3 yrs and singing lessons.
    *You want to more accurate info highly recommend you react or watch Taylor Mari’s GUIDE TO BTS: BANGTAN 7 before assuming or comparing them to western or local artists who have no connection to BTS at all.*

    If you go back to their debut days (2013) You'll see that BTS didn't get their dance moves from TikTok... people on TikTok use THEIR dance moves! BTS uses world-class choreographers. Ian Eastwood, Brian Puspos, and Nick Joseph are three off the top of my head. Just a friendly suggestion: You may want to do a little research before making too many comments like that. You may get yourself into hot water with ARMY and, trust me, you do NOT want that! Thank you for your reaction. I'm sure ARMYs will give you lots of suggested music to react to. Good luck! 💜

    See, the problem here is that, whether you know it or not, easily 50% of BTS content is aimed at haters or, at the very least, negativity. If you're going to have a channel that reacts like this to the most popular group in the world, you'd best grow a thicker skin. You will lose subscribers like crazy, not because we don't like you (we don't even know you) but because it's been over a decade of BTS hate and we're just tired of it and refuse to seek it out.

    Your joke needs to be funny. Messing with BTS is not amusing. Mic Drop is for people like you. Yes that's a jail.
    You should watch RM's music video "Joke" as this is his response to those that messed with him.
    Mic Drop was made juat after TikTok so it's the other way around. Please get off the negative train.
    Steve Aoki who is the heir to Benihana Restaurant and a famous DJ did not make the beats for Mic Drop, He just did a remix with more English lyrics which is nice but not a necessity to the many intelligent Worldwide Fans of BTS called ARMY.
