As a hockey fan and a Atlanta Thrashers fan i feel for these fans it is always gut wrenching sadness to lose a team i hope hockey returns in Arizona sure people will say it don't belong there but under good management and good ownership a team can workout anywhere as long as they have a fan base and hockey is getting popular in the states
I have an idea, the Winnipeg Jets move to Arizona to bring back the Coyotes and a couple years later bring back the Atlanta Thrashers as an expansion team, we definitely haven’t seen this plan before, have we

It could be longer than 7 years, that's how long Minnesota got a team back after losing the North Stars to Dallas or 15 years, that's how long it took Winnipeg to get a team back
Jackets fan here, thank you Phoenix/Arizona for bringing great competitive matches to everyone in the league and I hope you guys get your team back because no coyotes leaves a big hole in the NHL.
As a dallas stars fan, its sad. I personally used to like the Arizona Coyotes. I love watching the Coyotes and the Stars. Im just saying this with little knowledge and just glimpse and glances over articles and the news. But you cannot tell me face to face that the Arizona Coyotes were NOT mismanaged, not only by the owner, but also by the NHL. The Coyotes were f**ked over by both. Its sad. Like the Coyotes were better then multiple teams, and you could even go far enough to say they were better then some, NBA, NFL, and MLB teams. But the Coyotes still couldn't continue to be a franchise? The NHL is to blame and maybe even some other management for the Coyotes. I love you Arizona Coyotes. Hope to see you again.
My girlfriend is a Vegas fan and I'm a Boston fan, and when we realized this was going to be the last game of the Arizona Coyotes, we watched it on a call together and nearly cried at the end.
That doesn't mean he can't feel sympathy for an underdog team that keeps getting a raw deal. Hell, the Oilers themselves were about a day away from moving to Houston themselves back in 1998.
I rarely watch NHL, hell, I am not even from the US but this is really sad to see. I really liked Arizona Coyotes, I loved the colour scheme and the 2003-2021 logo and always thought it looks really fresh compared to all the other teams. But, as a European, I simply don't understand the concept of a club/team moving to other city. In Europe the team is tied to a place, formed by the people many decades ago (sometimes even more than 100 years ago) and this doesn't happen here (except very few exceptions) and the idea of a team simply changing places is foreign to me, maybe I just don't understand it. Either way, this must be really heartbreaking for the people of Phoenix and other Coyotes supporters.
We had that in Germany. The Munich Barons moved to Hamburg in 2002. Sadly the Freezers died in 2016 because the owner didn‘t wanted anymore. But the Freezers were the reason I came to Hockey. You learn to live with it but when you think about it, it’s still hard, even after eight years.
I think it's a shame they turned Arizona into the "Utah hockey club". If only they still had the team together like that, would of continued to be a great franchise in the near future. As a Flyers fan, I feel bad. The Utah Hockey Club sounds ridiculous, to be honest
im not to mad abt this. my dad grew up in arizona and he liked the coyotes. but when he heard they were moving he didnt seem to care. i live in california, im a big sharks fan even though baseball is my sport

I'm a Blackhawks fan living in Minnesota, the last North Stars home game was against Chicago I saw them leave and it was another 7 years until the return of another team
Great as soon Nevada gets an expansion team Nevada’s chief rival state loses the Hockey team and now they probably now going allow Mormons to play for The Coyotes

Just goes to show, it doesn't matter how big a city is. If there isn't enough interest in hockey, it is not going to succeed. How long until Utah or Seattle fold?
Seattle won’t fold, there has been a lot of interest in the Kraken ever since they have been around. In 2018 it took 1 hour to get 25000 people to buy season tickets, and it wasn’t guaranteed we would have a team. People wanted to watch hockey in Seattle.
@@TheAura448 Well, they folded exactly 100 years ago when they were the Metropolitans. In fact, there's been a lawsuit against them for using the "S" from the old uniform. There's already been 4 failed attempts to put hockey in Seattle. But hey, maybe you're right. Maybe it will work this time around. If they're interested in it, I hope they can keep it.
