From 92 to 2007, I saw them twice a year. Summer tours and every Halloween in Detroit ( or Devils Night in Flint MI.) . Good times great shows . No more than 25$ to see them. Saw so many new bands with them. One of the best shows , was when MUSHROOMHEAD was a new band and open for them. MINDBLOWING SHOW in Pontiac Mi. at the Phoenix Center. At least you were lucky enough to have been slaughtered by Gwar, one time in you life. Saw them last in 2018 at Vans Warped tour. Not seeing Dave Brockie there , it's not he same. But the band still sounds great .

Dave was the funniest human being that ever lived. Better than any stand up comedian...EVER. I miss that guy, and going to GWAR shows. Fucking drugs. What a waste.

If anything Dave was murdered. He had quit Gwar because he caught a band member stealing from all of them. He left because the other members wouldn’t stand up to that person. It’s pretty convenient that Dave was getting clean and he just magically od’d around the same time he left Gwar? He wouldn’t have hot dosed like that. If Dave had started up with that shit again he would have eased into it. He definitely wouldn’t have shot a large dose first time back. He also had plans with friends that day. Friends who would have caught him if he was high and he wouldn’t want to let them down like that anyway. When that guy made his mind up about something that was it. This narrative that Dave overdosed is bullshit. It’s the perfect alibi. Oh, he was just a junkie that overdosed so that’s that. Nobody looked into it any further. Sad because I truly believe foul play was in the mix

I disagree. I think they are stilts. When you watch him walk onstage(or where ever), the rubber is really loose any moves a lot. Which makes me think that they are stilts. Plus that would be like 2 or 3 foot platform shoes. hahaha
