Saturn in 10th is making him work “extremely hard” as you said. Also matching dashas and transits have to line up for rewards. But extreme hard work almost always gives something sooner or later.

In my view retro planet should be differentiated in 4 types 1) Slowing down phase 2) Still phase ( True retrograde) 3) Full retrograde phase 4) Beginning to direct again phase 1st Phase : when earth approaches near to that planet, the planets starts slowing down in our apparent view. For mars it happens , 1 month before retrogration (approx) (Mars slows from 0.35 degree a day , to 0 .17 degrees ) 2nd phase : the stagnant phase, here planet travels less than 0.1 degree per day , thus appearing still, (as in case of mars, it happens for 3 days just after start of retrogration). It should be considered as main retrograde. Third phase : here planet start moving backwards with normal speed, and increases as it opposes the sun. Here planet is brightest and closest. Fourth phase : Here planet agains slow down , as it goes farther from opposition to sun. Again as in case of mars , it nearly still for 3 days. After this planet becomes direct.

Sir there is a theory that says that Retrograde Planets give results from the previous houses as well. For ex: Retro Jupiter in 4th house will give result from the 4th house and the 3rd house ( the house behind it).

I have Jupiter conjunct Saturn to a degree in Virgo (Hasta) in my 12th house. Both planets are retrograde. Oh and my Rahu in 10th sextile my Jup/Sat to a degree. I’m living overseas, but I can’t get my citizenship. I’m going through a family lawsuit and I still can’t find my career. I’m 43 years old. I’m about to start my Saturn Dasha in 2025 and I have no idea what to expect. To me a planet retrograde means we have to repeat certain things and most importantly understand it.
I have Jupiter, Saturn and Mercury retrograde. Currently Jupiter mahadasa and Saturn anthar dasa going on. Jupiter in 10th, Saturn in 9th and Mercury in 4th for Aquarius lagna. Every material istic items are delayed but will get them somehow with no satisfaction. If planned Temple visit will also get delayed or if I tried darshan will not happen. Unplanned items for good will happen once in a while.
In meen lagan my saturn in vakri in 10th house but in bhav chalit shani moves to 9th house in 4th house vakri venus vakri mercury and in bhav chalit both move to 3rd house so anybody can say my saturn works for 10th house or 9th house
I think chalit bhav is used to interpret It's dasha and antardasha but drishti and overall result should be from the original house.Hence your shani giving result on 9th house during dasha antardasha but overall result is of 10th house

Good , transit dont have effects on individuals , its your dasha only which effects you. Transit effects on big things, massess, companies etc .
