I knitted a hat!!! 😃. Thank you so much for your amazing videos and tutorials. Every time I knit something from you I love it and add another skill to my knitting. You have not only helped me through so many quarantined days, but have given me the gift of learning to knit that I will have and enjoy for a lifetime. Thank you from the bottom of my heart 💜!
I’m having so much fun knitting this hat for my mother in law! I can’t wait to give it to her! I also learned how to increase and decrease from this video. Thank you so much for sharing this! 🎉
@@sowoollythank you! I have been feeling very intimidated during the knitting learning journey as a crocheter and your video made it easy to understand, fun, and encouraging. Thank you for sharing it with us! 🎉
I've just finished making a slouchy hat for my daughter in law and she loves it. The project was very satisfying and your instruction was great. Thank you.
I’m happy to hear it! It’s super easy, and looks really nice (I made 2, one for me, and one for my mother in law m). Don’t forget to read the instructions first 😉
Turned out great finally. Must adjust the number of stitches, size of needles, and wool thickness. Your tutorial was excellent, explicit and easy. Thanks.
Hello! I’m currently knitting this beanie, and it is turning out nicely. But, I’d like to ask: when you say at 2:54 to repeat this pattern, you said to knit this until you reach 20 centimeters or 8 inches. What do you mean? Because when I measured 20 cm, it measures 6 inches. Please specify whether I should knit until 20 cm or 8 inch. Thank you! Have a good day.
Lovely pattern and video I tried it myself but it was a bit too big. How would I make it a bit smaller? How many less should I cast on for a recommendation? Thanks
So sorry for the late reply, I didn’t see it in my notifications. the head circumference I have is 56cm and I have gauge of 22st and 30 rows in stockinette st with 5mm needles = 12cm
@@nanovahidy5172 Did you guys check your gauge size? If it is bigger than what she said (22 st for 4 in, and 30 rows for 4 in) you need to adjust the number of stitches of the circunference or it will be too big.
In the written pattern on the website, it says purl 2 together for row 16 7x(last row) and k1 for the last and 14th stitch. That doesn't make sense. Is there an error in the instructions for this row?
Hello I followed the written pattern on your website ... For the 12th row under the increase section K27 * inc P28 * was mentioned whereas in the video it says P27 ... So which one should I follow ?
hi this is so late! but for future readers that wants to knit this and is confused with this bit too, i followed the video which is P27 instead of K27, so the pattern for row 12 is P27 *inc P28*. i knitted two hats from this pattern already and it turned out just fine!
Love this just finished one in 100 percent cotton. You give good tutorials nice calming voice thx
Thank you 😊

Any suggestions on how many stitches to cast if I want to make it a little smaller?
In the written pattern, for the 12th row, it says knit 27 increase and then purl 28. But in the video is says purl 28 inc continue to purl
thank you i have subscribed xx

Thank you! How big is your gauge? How many stitches per inch or per cm do you get? And what's your head circumference measurement?
So sorry for the late reply, I didn’t see it in my notifications. the head circumference I have is 56cm and I have gauge of 22st and 30 rows in stockinette st with 5mm needles = 12cm
Narrower yarn and smaller needle size. When you buy yard it will suggest a needle.size on the label.🙂
My hat was also too large. I have looked at other patterns and they cast on about 106 stitches.
Hello
Love this video. Thank you. Where did you buy the sewing needle please?
Hello, I use this one: amzn.to/2YZxIvA Happy knitting!
@@sowoolly Thank you
Keep well.
How can it fit a 22inch head size?
Please explain why after you purl 1/2 of the stitches, you then k1 front and back? What purpose does this knit stitch serve? Thank you.
Thank you for sharing this, turned out well but far too big, how can I make it smaller?
I think I’ve cast on too many stitches. I have super bulky yarn with 4mm needles. I’ve lessened it to 54”. I’m not sure if that’s correct. Help.

Hi there. Do we seam the hat with the right side facing us ?
Exactly, I think you can see the seaming part at the end of the video
In your video, it looks like you’ve cast on very few stitches. Is it 114?
How long are your knitting needles?
They are around 22 cm long
How do I Cast on 114 stitches on a 22cm needle? Shall I use circular needles?because you also have to increase. It seems impossible.
I’m confused that you increased by three it looked to me like you only increased by two
No worries, take a look at the written instructions (in the description box).
Purl 27 then increase 1 again purl 28 and inc 1 and repeat till the end of row.
👍🏻😘👏
Can you please upload a video of knitting monkey cap for children? Thank you..
