Ruston Hornsby 1YWA Will It Start After 15 years

collected the old ruston 1ywa from a local after they moved out of there bush block. it was there main power supply untill getting mains power to the block. it was last ran 15 or more years ago. it had seized rings when we picked it up

Thats a very good question. Being a Indian built ruston it might be sort of 'newish' 60s or 70s?. Im not sure if Trevor said if they bought it brand new for there bush block or if it was second hand then?

I was told the Indian built ones where not to bad to find parts for? Old listers seem ok for parts
