- California Gold Adventure on Mother Yuba. We finally get our hands wet once again in the Motherlode of Northern California on the Yuba River. Three days on the water in a new location each day with amazing hikes, views and gold! TopCat and Bedrock Bennett took us on a hike to an undisclosed location they have visited before that holds a vast amount of history and great gold!

@@MayhemProspecting I went to that first spot you guys were at a month or so ago, which I won’t give away, but that creek where your buddy was eating with that nice little plunge pool and the bridge, gave me some of the worst poison oak I’ve had in my life 😬 it was in places you’d never want to get it😂 It also gave my friend the oak pretty bad too so we dubbed that spot the “oak shack” lol
@@stephman77 hahaha get out of here! I hate that crap bro. What a gorgeous spot and the amount of work done there back in the day was insane, those hand stacks were so cool. I want to explore way up that creek, have you ever gone way up it? Thank you for watching by the way, appreciate it!
@@MayhemProspecting haha yeah poison oak is no joke! I love that spot the drive down is cool too. The hand stacks were everywhere! I was really surprised seeing that. And down river from there, there’s a deep and super narrow gully that looks like they worked a bunch there too. But we ended up going a little passed the bridge on that creek and the bedrock seems to die down with just a bunch of medium/small gravels. We didn’t go really far tho so not sure how it is way up there, but we found some decent pokers when we ran the gravel. But poison oak is everywhere on that creek so we just left lol
