Wow, what a great video. A complete preflight check of a concourse restoration war bird that Mr Weeks owns, I’m all in. Thank you so very much for sharing. Mr Weeks, You’re the best. You’re a freaking legend, an American Icon. Please be safe and take care of yourself. I hope the Apache Princess loves the artwork.

Kermit, how come Naked In Jamaica Rum isn’t available outside Florida? I bought 2 bottles from a dealer in Orlando by mail and with the shipping charges it was $90! It’s good rum but not $90 good.

Great Plane! My Favorite. Great Name for it, but the actual girl doesn't look 1940's looks too modern for a war bird.

    Love the A-26/B-26
    Survived for a while
Think the last model that was made (at least for the military) was the B-26K that had a range of armament within the bomb bay and under the wings.

IMHO, making the nose art look too professionally (and modernly) rendered spoils the vintage plausibility. Flaws HELP! :)

Better start that pre flight check about midnight if ya want an early dawn flight🤦🏼‍♂️. Geez, and you need someone up in it operating the controls!

Why is the copilot canopy larger than the pilot canopy? You can see it at time index 55:00

One of my most favorite planes, the others being the B-25 and the F4U corsair .In all of the films That I have seen, you see the flight crew just running and jumping in the planes maybe once in a while you see the polite walking around doing a glance over but nothing like you are doing, of course this is a hot rod. You could when you get ready to fly it home just fly up to Castle give me a ride, just a little out of the way. Go through the air museum .

seeing a good look at the gunner's position was interesting,, my father, who was an Airforce photographer had to take over the guns when the gunner was killed,, but they did make it home!! he had to stay there all the way back to Miho Japan, as this was early Korean war and the planes were still based there,, my mother wondered for years why he would yell in his sleep "I've got the guns" ...

Wow, I wouldn't have guessed that the Invader was so complex. These wing bolts don't seem very big compared the arms they are locking. And the wing pins I used on glider were twice that thick.
With the stainless steel in front of the top turret, but nothing behind, does it mean that it was standard procedure to fire the top turret in direction of flight in the same time as the nose and wings guns?
    Thanks for sharing.

Why do Yanks call "split-pins" "cotter-pins"?
Cotter-pins are straight cylindrical shafts, that transmit torque.

Love the 'Nitty Gritty' of this pre-flight check. It makes you think how a well trained crew in combat, would have to really know their plane inside and out, in order to find and fix problems, perhaps due to flak damage or bullets or even a part failure, in order to fix it enough for the whole crew to make it back home or finish the bombing run or maybe to keep defending themselves. And it also made me think about the designing and assembly process to put it all together. Just a great tour of the whole plane, thank you Kermit and Tucker.
