This video is awsome.I would love to know more about the engines in these cars.Especially the more stock appearing ones. For example 340hp 0r 425hp.Curious if someone would give the break down of their motor combination, and gear ratio combination. Thanks for any input.
Funny but I never noticed that '62 Chivy's came in not 1, not 2, but 3 different roof styles! The SS top, 2 door post top and of course the classic Bubble Top. Wondering if the post top or the bubble top was the lightest in weight?
These 62 cheyy 409s were some of my favorites but could not hold there own against the Mopar lightweight 413 torqueflites. Chevys are only fast when you modify them.
There is no sense in arguing with an uneducated person such as yourself, apparently you have never drag raced or circle tracked and in my opinion know absolutely nothing in which you are commenting on!!
Obviously, an Impala Car Club decided to show up.
very very cool...thanks for posting
For the youngsters: Stock 348-409s did not have this much H.P.
These are very cool.
GREAT VIDEO
@ C Dreyer
4:04 is a `63 Biscayne.....it was the lightest of all the full-sized sedan bodies.
The 61 is a beast!
Love the Bubbletops!

Correction... Chevy's are only fast when they race anotha Chevy. Papaw said Dodge always handled the Chevys and Ford's like a champ.
