LOL. This is reality. Most times when we try a new recipe anything can happen, and does. A lot depends if our ovens are calibrated correctly or if we over blend ingredients. Usually the second try is better. Thank you for this delightful video. I will definitely try these cookies. ❤

You should try Pierre Hermé ‘ s macaron recipe I’ve tried it and it’s really good . The macaron book is also very detailed and explains most if not all the steps. 😄
I think you also over folded the macaronage. Once you reach the ribbon stage it’s best to stop folding and start piping. And the food colouring is usually added in the egg whites. Letting the egg whites rest for a week in the fridge is also an important step to have a better meringue and it whips up faster to. But good job
