gracias por las impresiones: parece el Señor del Castillo Mt. Etna se esta deshaciendo de su "menagerie" y su anteojos para ver mejor. El sonido esta muy cerca del cuando rompo un cristal. Los pajaros estan super fuerte, mi gato Bragi se ha levantado de su siesta mas temprano para ver. Aunque parece que nuestro creador se esta dedicando a una limpieza mayor tengo la sensacion hay mucha belleza y buen gusto en lo que se puede ver. A mi me deja boca abierta el color orange de chispas divinas, que gran oportunidad de ver lo veradero...muchas gracias por compartirlo con nosotros ...un saludo enorme Crissy

Indeed. Through rough guesstimation, fountains may have hit the 1200m mark. The ash plume definitely broke the 10km barrier. Still a far cry from the astounding July 1998 and September 1999 paroxysms, where D.Lo Scavo took shots of a lava fountain 2.5 km high (and ash to 14 km ASL). Oh, wait... 1960-64 paroxysms were even bigger, and the 1949 event that marked the birth of the Voragine proper was just above and beyond.

Eeh!!si l'Etna si sta dando molto da fare basti vedere le alte fontane di lava che erutta continuamente e le colate come e dove si spingono e impressionante significa anche però che c'è moltissimo magma eruttivo che sta uscendo da sotto terra e a quanto sembra c'è molta silice nella lava perché mi pare di vederla molto viscosa però lassù invece perché se fosse liquida meno silice tracimerebbe senza queste fontane e formerebbe un fiume in continua tracimazione senza queste fontane esplosive
Once you understand the hazzards and take appropriate measures to deal with them (it's usually just common sense) real danger goes away. It will be impressive, it will be spectacular, and if you get woken up by air bursts or get ashed it will be (somewhat) annoying, but there is almost no real danger. Any pyroclastic flows would have stopped well before reaching anything inhabited, large blocks typically don't fall beyond 2-3 km away from the crater, and Etnas lava flows are quite viscous and slow moving (just look at the pictures 😅), you have ample time to get away.

Ma che cosa pazzesca, la sommità della fontana sarà più alta di un chilometro, assolutamente incredibile!
Mi sembra que questo è stato il più violento della seria, in cuanto all'altezza della fontana e del penacchio di cenere.
