I really hope people appreciate what they are seeing here. Its one thing to put up one of the greatest totals of all time in any weight class, but to do it so comfortably and professionally is somthing else. What is truely scary is the Eric is clearly only getting started which is so hugely evident by the un paralleled progress he is making atm. The mind spins when trying to imagine what he will be capable of in 2, 5 or 10 years. Health permitting I am sure we are witnessing the guy who will become the greatest powerlifter of all time. Some may think that statement is jumping the gun a bit. Imo it is only a matter of time until that statement is undisputed. Awesome.
I should have went for 440kg, I was thinking about it but I figured I might as well be conservative since I need to pull big at the end of the meet to get my total. I didn't want to go all out on the Squats and then be burnt out for Deadlifts.
Man I'm incredibly envious of the Lilliebridge men being able to be together doing a sport they love, all the while accomplishing such great things in the sport. Keep kickin' ass and I will keep watching and supporting.
Its refreshing to see deep squats, a true press command on the benchpress, and fully locked knees on the DL. You truly deserved those records after your performance, which was nothing short of amazing Mr. Lilliebridge.
Great job Eric. Watching how much you have improved over the last year is a big inspiration. I'm just getting back into it after a bad car accident so seeing this really drives me. Congrats again big man
technician, world class, elite, hard working, powerful a few words that come to mind. One of the best all around meets i have ever seen by a man. Just Awesome.
I only got a chance to see this on the live feed from the UPA website, but it was an amazing show Eric, Congratulations. I was wondering why you went to 865 for your 3rd attempt. Now I know!! You deserve all the recognition you are getting.
Hey Eric, I been following you and your family for a few years on TH-cam, this is my first post. Congratulations on the lifts. What an achievement. At your age and dedication you will be the best powerlifter the earth has ever seen. As CT Fletcher says, "You are a sidewalk cracking, MotherF**ker!" Semper Fi!
You have become the best junior lifter in history and one of the best who ever lived. Now entering the open division you will become the best powerlifter who ever lived.
Well if we count every total Malan's done, as well as other lifters, then there would be more of course. I was just counting the heaviest by each top lifter.
etwade I think Andrey's best total @ 308 was 2,358lbs? I could be wrong but I thought I saw that on powerliftingwatch's website a while back. So I'm happy to know that I'm at least close to his best 308 total!
epic total. Im a prick of a judge and very strict when i judge competitions or compete in them. I have to say these lifts were perfectly clean and would pass any scrutiny in any fed. This is legendary stuff here. Im blown away by this. Scary thing is at 23 yrs old there is a lot of time and room to improve.
I have no doubt Eric lillibridge will one day be considered amongst the greatest lifters of all time, he's only 21 and I would argue it's he could one day surpass Malanichev if he wished to move up to the 308 weight class. Great lifts Eric!
So sick dude. At 23, unreal. I look forward every video to when Downfall by Children of Bodom starts up and it's time to let loose on that 3rd deadlift.
Stan Efferding is one of my favorite lifters to watch for motivation. You just demolished him at 23 years old.. If you can get your bench up to 600 in the next decade, which I don't see being a problem, 2,600 is feasible. Fucking incredible man.
Eric Lilliebridge Best part of this vid (Aside from you re-breaking the world record) is when you pull 372.5 and say "Easy!" Man, that's badass, I love your videos, keep improving brother.
I just want to say again that these huge results are first and foremost originating from how Eric is smart in training and persisting in doing things well. It's not the case. It's not only a matter of a freaking genetics or some other shit. It's a matter of a long marathon running. Such long running for years and years can be done only with a fucking determination. Eric is a true athlete. And a true man. My just two cents.
WTF!!!!! This is way to fuckin awesome! What a professional athlete! Perfecting all aspects all the time! Gotta make a trip to the states sometime to see this! Fuckin great job bud!!!
you are actually stronger then rhino by 50 pounds in total if im not mistaken, wow, great job man, only you know what you had to come through to come to this, good luck in future
This is incredible....Although not surprised at all white lights (even though lifts were all perfect) I still wouldn't want to be the one who had to tell you if I put up a red! MONSTER
You're an inspiration! I hope to be up there in weight with you one day! Probably not gonna happen but I can dream haha! I just wanna know what your long term goals and dreams are for lifting? Great video man keep working!
This was unreal to see in person. On the third squat, the bar speed was unbelievable.
Lilliebridge is the epitome of powerlifting !
I think my new goal is to never let Eric's total in kilograms be more than mine in pounds.
Great job Eric!!! You deserved this, you've been working hard for that 2300+

so proud and happy for you man. 2400 here you come!
Damn that third squat was SMOOTH, you could've gone for even more. Scary!
I should have went for 440kg, I was thinking about it but I figured I might as well be conservative since I need to pull big at the end of the meet to get my total. I didn't want to go all out on the Squats and then be burnt out for Deadlifts.
Eric Lilliebridge Yeah that was probably a wise choice, it's just crazy to think you had even more in you! Nice job Eric
Congrats Eric. I've been following your training vids since late 2011. Awesome to see you accomplish this and you aren't done yet.
Man I'm incredibly envious of the Lilliebridge men being able to be together doing a sport they love, all the while accomplishing such great things in the sport. Keep kickin' ass and I will keep watching and supporting.
Just fired my coach so I can learn from all your lifts!!! Great technique, so amazing, THANK YOU AND CONGRATS !
Great thing about Team Lilliebridge is that they have amazing form on everything.
His form is perfect, this kid will be the best ever one day.
he already is man
Ryan Mendez look at the bottom of desc, 4th
Loved watching the third pull too, where the brother and father are there, perfect team! By far, Strongest Family on the Planet!
Its refreshing to see deep squats, a true press command on the benchpress, and fully locked knees on the DL. You truly deserved those records after your performance, which was nothing short of amazing Mr. Lilliebridge.
Look at his shadow at 5:50
Tanner Virden it looks like king kong omg!!!
Great job Eric. Watching how much you have improved over the last year is a big inspiration. I'm just getting back into it after a bad car accident so seeing this really drives me. Congrats again big man

Amazing man, got a little emotional around the end when everyone congratulated you.
Nice job Eric! And finally I see safety chains in competition, could be higher though...
damn, this dude is an actual monster. holy shit!
Those squats are sickeningly amazing. Past parallel with 900+ pounds - speechless. Great lockouts.
The was the epitome of BEAST MODE!!! Now I know I have to step my squat game up seriously! 500 plus before August. Thanks for the motivation.
Incredible!
An inspiration for me to see this.
Absolutely insane! Only age 23 and has one of the top 5 raw totals ever! Gonna be exciting as hell watching you break barriers in powerlifting!

Fourth highest raw total of all time, in any weight class.
1. Malanichev 2469 lbs, 2. Reinhoudt 2391 lbs 3.Cole 2363 lbs 4. Lilliebridge 2353 lbs
I could be wrong but I think Malanichev totaled 2425 back in December.
Well if we count every total Malan's done, as well as other lifters, then there would be more of course. I was just counting the heaviest by each top lifter.

Eric Lilliebridge
That's correct, Eric! At 275, you are only 5 lbs off Malan's best raw 308 total!
*****
Mark Henry's best total was 2,336 with wraps, so a bit behind these top 4.
Absolute domination congrats man , you are inspiring to say the least
Hell ya way to go man, competing in my first meet this weekend and you're a huge inspiration to me!

Amazing lifting Eric!
Yes, that was my best Deadlift ever and Meet PR. I pulled 860lbs in training about 4 weeks out from this meet which was my best before this.
Eric Lilliebridge So many goals accomplished in one meet! Congrats again!
insane lifts. congrats.
Amazing strength and power!
Brilliant stuff, congrats Eric.
I know in the past you've struggled with grip on max deadlifts, change anything in training to fix this?
I always wonder 💭 why this type of music make me relax, and relax music make me more explosive 🧨
